Best turkey burger I’ve had in Long Beach. Why oh why do you only exist in the airport?! I had one on my way out of town and one when I got back. That’s how good the turkey burger is. The fries are of the skinny crispy crunchy variety if that’s your thing. I prefer to grab a bag of jalapeño chips to go with that bomb burger.

I don’t always trust airport food, and I have even less trust in what they serve on airplanes, but boy-o-boy did they prove me wrong. Also, I don’t always trust turkey burgers, and I have even less trust when turkey burgers are available at an airport, but once again I was proven wrong. The turkey burger was me-o-my delicious. It was not dry, it was not bland, it was not blasé. Spice is the variety of life. It was so full of flavors. Mark my words, once I am back in Long beach, California, a turkey burger from Long Beach Burger Bar will be my first meal.

This is a good airport and the food vendors here offer FREE water, so don’t force you to buy bottled water. I like this place for the fact they don’t gauge you on prices since you’re held hostage being at an airport with little choices. The burger and onion rings are tasty and the staff is friendly. I do like Long Beach Airport because its so user friendly, and having vendors like this help support that good vibe!

Coming back again, I gotta say this place is awesome. Got the hot dog yesterday. Really liked they cut it in half for the char, and used a top heavy bun that was crispy and soft at the same time. Like most people say — not going to beat your hometown spots, but for an airport, the price and the quality deserves props.

Wow, way to go for good airport food! I got their regular burger and added avocado, bacon, and mushrooms. It was so tasty. Really good quality, fresh, generous portions, tasty bun, and not bad price considering it’s at an airport. I have to say I was impressed and would stop by here again when passing through the LBC airport.

Ya know, for airport food I cannot really complain. I wanted to go to the other place, but they only served breakfast until 10:30am which is when my flight was boarding. The Burger bar was more than willing to serve me a non breakfast burger. It was pretty darn tasty and filling and not over priced as airport food normally is — the burger was under ten bucks with no fries or drink. The man got a hotdog. Only weird thing there is that they split it in half and cook it that way no matter what kind of toppings you order. Either way, he was pleased too and for 4 bucks why not.

Long Beach Burger Bar. This is my usual spot for me to load up on food when I’m flying out of Long Beach. Is it the greatest burger? Absolutely not. There’s a variety of items you could order like hot dogs, burgers, onion rings, fries, a bacon cheeseburger, and a cheeseburger with no cheese. The burgers and hot dogs aren’t bad. It’s definitely not Plan Check, Father’s Office or In N Out but it does it’s job and gives me a food coma. The fries could be saltier and I’m a bit disappointed they don’t use truffle salt and it’s not fried in duck fat. Also, I wish the burgers were made of fresh authentic Japanese Kobe beef, organic grass-fed cheese, and organic vegetables. However, I’m not going to be all snooty about it I’ll eat here and grab a drink at the bar so I could get a food coma then pass out on the plane. Yes, it’s not the most healthiest thing to do but it helps with my flight. However, I don’t think my single serving friends on the plane appreciates the burping, farting and snoring but too bad. This is how I deal with long(i.e., an hour) flights.

I sincerely hope this place embodies the future of airport dining. Food: Ok, the burgers won’t blow you away, but the presentation will at least trick you into forgetting you’re eating at an airport. After a long deliberation between this place and the equally tantalizing Greek and Mexican joints next door, I selected the cheeseburger with all the possible free toppings( ). The meat could have been more tender, but the fresh lettuce, the pickles, onion, and tomato made it worth eating. Not bad for airport fare! Atmosphere: Something about the cheery exterior makes me feel ok dropping close to 10 bucks for a burger( ). The clean sign wooden sign with the palm tree logo echoes the general feel of the Long Beach Airport. As an added bonus, they have tons of seating right out front so you don’t have to worry about juggling your food as you awkwardly sit outside your gate. Service: The guys working the grill and counter won’t hesitate to flash you a smile. I feel like they want my business. Seriously, how is this airport food? Synopsis: Wish they had one of these in every terminal!

My experience was great. people were friendly good service and the chef Ron not only engaged us in friendly conversation but he cooked an excellent burger. The best burger I have had in a long time thanks. Good enough I felt I needed to write a review

The food was decently priced compared to most airport eateries, but as other Unilocalers have mentioned they are, indeed, pretty slow so make sure you have time to spare. I ordered the black bean veggie burger and once I finally got my food and went back to the gate, I noticed my order was without the avocado I paid extra for. Four stars for the actual quality of the food and friendly employees. They tried.

This joint has a primo location inside the Long Beach Airport. The cooks at this burger bar are VERY slow. I was here on a Thursday afternoon. They could not get it together with a small crowd. Hate to think how these cooks would fare during weekend crowds. Otherwise, fries ok and the burgers ok. If there were real cooks here, there would be no issues.

Fresh ingredients, and good texture to burger, but a little pricy. If I fly into Long Beach again I will get another burger.

I’m going to take a moment and talk about two menu items that are NOT burgers. The chili: The cup of chili is a great value. It is tasty, can be gotten with cheese and onion on top, and is a decent amount of food. Speaking in a dollars-per-calorie basis, it is probably the best buy in all of the LGB airport food options. I have basically stopped getting the burgers(messy, and merely ok), in favor of the cup of chili. One pet peeve: the chili is too hot to serve in a single cup, so they double up on the cups to act as a thermal insulators. Seems a bit wasteful, but oh well. Moving on to the milkshake. The milkshake is way too small. At least for the price being paid. It tastes good, so that’s nice, but I couldn’t believe how tiny the cup was when they handed it to me. For $ 4.50, this thing should be petty sizable — say 20 oz. I think it’s more like 10 oz. I will also echo some of the other reviewers in that the ordering/communicating/paying for your order/picking up your order process can get very hectic, especially when they are busy.

Ordered the bacon double cheeseburger and it was decent. It was cooked medium as I had asked. They asked what cheese I wanted, and I asked what cheese they had. They said yellow. Sold.

For airport food it was decent. I got the turkey burger, paid about 7.50 or so. The burger was a little messy and feel apart so I had to eat the pieces separately. The turkey was lacking in flavor of any kind. And I asked for Mayo… they put mustard. But it was too late for me to go back and get it fixed. I’m only giving a two star because it was not outrageously priced and the lady working there was nice. But I don’t think I will be eating here again.

Surprisingly good for an airport burger joint. I was delighted to find that LBBB offered turkey burgers, which came with delicious avocado and were super juicy and flavorful, and I asked if they could make chili-cheese fries(which aren’t on the menu), and they did! The staff was very friendly, and the food was pretty delicious.

Had their turkey burger and it tasted fantastic. You would never know it was turkey. Now this is one of about 5 different food options, they have a order sign but not a pick up one, so you just eye the person that hopefully hands you the food.
