Well im late on this review but better late then never. Lets just say I got myself in a little trouble and was living with the trouble I caused for weeks. I found David G. On this Unilocal site and set up a meeting with him. When I met with him he calmed my nerves from a high 10 to a calm 0. He took my worries with him and I left his office feeling secure with him as my attorney. I highly recommend him if you want the job done right. I have been meaning to write this for some time now, but time flies.
I recently had a situation that caught me by surprise, and required legal assistance immediately. With no recommendations, experience, or idea where to start I set out to find someone that could help me. I made a couple calls and got no answer or left messages. David was the first person to answer, I explained the situation that had developed, and within the first couple minutes I knew this was the person I needed to help me.
David took the job, and immediately started working on the case. Throughout the whole situation David answered every phone call, and every question I had no matter how many times I called him or how many questions I had.
Without getting into specifics. David was very knowledgeable and experienced, he was always in control. He always had an educated answer, and was never unprepared. I felt completely comfortable with his actions, and never felt I had to question his approach.
I feel very lucky and great full to have found David. I would recommend him to anybody I know that may find themselves in need of legal assistance. Not only is he a great lawyer he is a genuine person which is very hard to find.

I was referred to David through another attorney that recommended him to help me with the legal issue and the misdemeanor I was charged with. And all I can say is that I am fortunate to have had David as my legal counsel.

I was researching around for a lawyer to help me out of a jam, and was having a rough time due to the types of reviews all the lawyers have. After reading Jarvis’ reviews and the fact that he’s an active reviewer, I gave David Givot a call. From the initial call to the time my case was taken care of was less than 10 calendar days. The case was outstanding for years, and David did a fantastic job in 10 calendar days. I should repeat. 10 CALENDAR DAYS!
It’s a little tough to get a hold of him immediately during the hours court’s in session because he has work to do, but he’ll personally return your calls or text messages before the end of the day. He’s very honest in what he believes in regards to the case, and does a fantastic job of communicating. I’ve seen other lawyers communicate with clients (including myself) and their peers, and David Givot is a well articulate person. He’s humble, realistic, affordable, and to put it frankly. gets the job done to best of his abilities. You can always ask for more effort from him, but you really don’t have to.

I had two traffic tickets that David helped me with. They were significant tickets and came with a huge penalty. Luckily David got my penalties and fines reduced with no points on my record! Thanks David, you are the best! I know how to call when I am in a jam.

The Legal Guardian! First and foremost let me quote one of my favorite lines from Mr. Givot, «Criminal defense is not about defending actions, but defending an individuals rights». This attitude is what makes David a fantastic person to be your representative in the court of law.
I never thought I would be able to send Mr. Givot business. Really because I do not know criminals. Let’s be realistic, would you admit it? However, I do know people, GOOD PEOPLE, that have found themselves in a bad situation, who need someone to help them navigate through the legal process. David is not only a knowledge navigator, but a beacon of light and compassion. I have sent a few individuals David’s way, and every time they respond with glowing reviews and they better write some here.
The norm seems to be that he lifted the stress and fear out of the situation. «David gave me a clear plan of actions, which gave me hope and security», this was one excerpt from an email sent to me in regard to David.
Finally, this is a truly bias review (I must be candid). I see David usually once a week for networking. I really want to see his business grow, and I know he wishes the same for me. That is not my bias. Mr. Givot has a great sense of humor and, as I stated previously, compassionate. This again is not my bias. Plain and simply, I like this guy. The way his mind works is amazing. His attitude on life is a tribute to his growing success. If you have a «friend» that has found himself in a bad situation. Please tell him to remain silent, and call David. I absolutely guarantee when you speak with them again, his name will be said with a smile on their face.
Remember, «You are innocent, until proved guilty» is for prime time TV, but if you want a counselor like in those prime time shows… David is «that guy»!

I am so thankful for David Givot! No one would suspect that I would need a criminal defense attorney — but David Givot did help me defend against the EVILS of the COMPTON P.D. & THE DMV.
I was late in registering my Kia P.O.S. (the DMV didn’t send a notification) and was pulled over by an adolescent Compton cop on the way home from a late-​night networking event. Evidently his target criminal is a middle-​aged woman in a crappy car. Dangerous! Who can blame him — there is no other dispicable segment of the Compton population, like drug dealers, thieves and drive-​by shooters.
So, I sign for the ticket and wait for my notification by mail… nothing arrives. Until, of course I get the letter demanding $ 1900 for failure to appear! WHAT?! All because a teenage cop needed to fill his quota … NO! David Givot to the rescue!
He went to court FOR ME, plead my case and reduced the «fee» to a $ 25 fixer ticket. What a guy! My wallet is fatter, and my brain didn’t explode. I keep his card in my glove compartment, and refer him to everyone! Even if they aren’t yet suspected criminals!
