This KFC is next to KMART(and Lowes) in an outdoor shopping center area with multiple retailers. This is very clean and spacious, so is a nice place for dining in, and of course you can take out to go or drive through. I’m a fan of the Original Recipe chicken, that batter on the skin is amazing as always, and if they made a side dish of simply fried chicken skin with the original recipe batter, that would be heavenly!

Well I guess the owner/management is anticipating the increase in minimum wage. The $ 5 fill up is now $ 5.95(it’s still $ 5, right?) They still have the $ 4.99 leg and thigh meal though. Only until the see their error What next, an order kiosk. I don’t doubt it Their food is OK. The NEW Nashville chicken is just their crispy recipe with Tabasco sauce. Nothing to get excited about. Guess I’ll have to find another cheap meal deal, while they last

Decided to try the new Hot Chicken… My Verdict: The Colonel should have stopped at 11 herbs and spices. To break it down, the new Hot Chicken is basically the old Extra Crispy Chicken coated in smoked paprika and soaked in hot chili oil til the extra crispy starts to turn a lil soggy… it’s greasy(even for KFC)…its 50% crust /25% bone yielding 25% chicken meat. It taste ok once you add ranch and pickles in the mix. On its own, its kinda gross. I doubt it will stick around and thats ok with me.

How are they always out of chicken? Every time I come they are out and I need to wait.

Service sucks… went through the drive-thru. I paid for a 20 wing dinner then they tell me I have to wait 5 min because they only have 14 .they have to cook more. You should have told me before I gave you my money.

Love their original fried chicken. I guess that’s why I always get their biggest bucket.

It tasted like fast food and KFC everytime food is Bought from there so I would say it’s okay? This is another place that sometimes my mother craves food from, why, I don’t know? I have been here a few times, but a lot of times my mother just brings home the chicken from there and mashed potatoes which is of course from some sort of powder, you could taste it in the mash potatoes but what else do you expect from something like KFC, and also the meat is at least edible, and doesn’t make one sick or anything, the restaurant itself seems decently laid out and quiet so that’s a plus I guess

Had a coupon for legs n thighs. Only 2 thighs in the bucket, the rest were legs. Guess they were saving thighs for their favorite customers. Not nice, I won’t be back. Will be visiting the kfc on Del Amo and Bellflower next time.

I hate to admit that I love KFC. I am seriously in love with their extra crispy chicken, that crispiness gets me every time. What I don’t like is that many moons ago all KFC’s had extra crispy SPICY chicken which I had a serious addiction too. Then some genius decided to discontented my beloved spicy chicken. But then by sheer dumb luck while on a trip to Thailand I happened to go into a KFC and low and behold they had my terribly missed chicken was available. Why do other people around the world get to enjoy my delicious spicy chicken??? Then not to long ago I found my spicy chicken one again YAY! but there in lays the problem. Thus far the only KFC that carries my spicy chicken ii the KFC by USC. This location doesn’t have my spicy chicken(boooo!) but it does at least have my extra crispy chicken. So, I like this location for the extra crispy chicken only. I only get white meat and it never disappoints. What is disappointing about this location is their grilled chicken. First it’s dry and second if you like dark meat I suggest you pass. I ordered a 3 piece(dark meat) grilled chicken for my husband last time I was here. His 3 tiny morsels put together were almost the size of one of my crispy breasts. Just not worth the money when you get midget size portions. As for the sides, their green beans are pretty good. Smashed potatoes also good. But they have changed the recipe to their coleslaw. It doesn’t taste the same. It’s much sweeter with a bitter after taste. I don’t recommend it. The workers are friendly and fast, very fast. So, just to rehash: GOOD: extra crispy chicken, green beans, smashed potatoes PASS: grilled chicken dark meat and coleslaw

I hate this location… but sometimes my kids beg for KFC so I end up trying it AGAIN. My main complaint is they NEVER include condiments/sauces, nor do they ask if you would like any. If you want to get dipping sauce for your chicken strips, you have to ask them… same goes for butter, honey, ketchup, whatever. More than once, I’ve forgotten to ask and get home with nothing. ANNOYING! I’m pretty sure managment has told the employees not to bring it up. Why are they so cheap? It’s pretty expensive for fast food, often costing around $ 30 for my family of four.

Originally stopped at the KFC at 4917 Bellflower Bl. in Lakewood and the girl at the drive up window was just plain NASTY. Left there without ordering and drove to this KFC and placed my order. The chicken was good and the service was excellent. If you are in the area, and in the mood for KFC, try this outlet and avoid, at all costs, the nasty KFC in Lakewood.

This is regarding the KFC location at 2970 North Bellflower Boulevard, Long Beach, CA. I arrived at the drive through at 9:56 p.m. and was greeted through the drive through speaker about your family deal, I told the woman I needed a minute to order and she said, «sure, let me know when you are ready.» After a minute or two I decided on your famous bowl combo but when I spoke my order to the drive through attendant there was no answer. After repeating my order twice I drove up to the window. I then saw a woman exit a door in view of the drive through window, she saw me at the window and then turned off the lights to the facility. I realize that I tried to order just prior to the stores closing time, but my order should have been taken or at least for the woman to tell me that they are closed.

For years I have been going to ths location of KFC. Always cleanly kept, safe-feeling area(which is a need-to-know detail in the LBC), fresh food, but one reason that stands high above all others: CHICKENLITTLES. For those of you that remeber the 90s, Chicken Littles were sliders before their time. Little mini buns, a dollop of special ranch peppercorn mayo, and a tiny deep fried chicken patty(like a flattened chicken nugget), resembling a White Castle burger. Back in the day, they were 33 cents each, then the price eventually went up to 49 cents each, then they disappeared for a while. They use to be widely available– but sometime while I was in college, they disappeared from many of the locations. I was able to scour the land of So Cal, and my bff did the same in Virginia– and we knew of only 3 KFCs that offered these little pillows of heaven. This LBC location is one of them. You see, my love for chicken littles is no joke. To this day I randomly pull over to any KFC I see in my travels and ask if they have Chicken Littles. most don’t know WTH I am talking about. I have probably consumed close to 1,000 of them in my lifetime. By myself, I’ll usually order 4. With a friend, I’ve been known to share a stack of 12 or 14. Think of the scene at the end of Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. that’s what I’m talking about. But I’ve been stacking them like that for decades– years before the movie about youngster’s obsessions with wrapped mini sandwiches was released. I recently had a diappointing day in LA and it’s part of my «driving home from LA» ritual to stop by this KFC and get some Chicken Littles on the way back to the OC. That day in particular, I really needed my fix. So, you can imagine my SHEERDISAPPOINTMENT and ANGER when the drive thru guy tells me «We don’t carry Chicken Littles anymore». WTF. No really– WTF??! I drove away almost in tears– I didn’t need that shit. My day was already crappy. It still upsets me. So now, that being the last place I know of that carried them– I need your help. Please ask every KFC you go to if they have Chicken Littles. And if you happen to see the Colonel hanging around– ask him why the fuck not?! and tell him to give me a call. We need to discuss.

Okay, this KFC is getting a full five stars from me because they have CHICKENLITTLES! Oh my gosh, I am giddy with excitement. I had pretty much given up on my chicken little obsession after that KFC on the corner of Atherton and Bellflower closed. When I lived in the dorms I would constantly brag to people about how I could get chicken littles and no one would believe me. Then it closed and I was heartbroken. I mean, I live like right next to the KFC on Anaheim but they don’t have chicken littles. I discovered this last night on my way to school. It totally made my night. I got three littles for $ 2.47. What more could a girl ask for?
