I tripped out walking into this place. I’m sorry to say but it’s hardly a store. It’s a very old atmosphere and I felt like I was lost in time. The freezer had maybe 3 pieces of turkey tail that looked as old as the store. Canned food that looked older and the only reason I went in there was to buy dry noodles. I’m sure 99 Ranch market carries the same brand. The owners should really update then upkeep this place. It’s pretty sad because I hope the best for people

You can always count on getting a friendly hello from Ken when you walk in. Store is stocked with all types of goods. You can get a bag of turkey tail for $ 5 something and it’ll have about 15 – 20 pieces. Can’t beat that. Ken even owns a restaraunt on the north side of Long Beach called Five Star– serves Samoan food. Love that place!

Hard to believe no one has reviewed this place before. First, this is a little market that would benefit any Pacific Islander or Polynesian living around the west side of Long Beach. Myself, I’m from Hawaii. I personally think this spot is a treasure because not only do they sell«Locals» brand slippahs, Hinode brand rice, Aloha Shoyu. Ken’s also has Redondo’s Hawaiian«Winners» hot dogs. They also carry a couple of brands of Portuguese Sausage but only in mild. Ken’s also sells taro by huge bags, $ 62 each. A solid selection of canned corn beef… but no spam! If you know island foods, you can probably guess what else they have. Mainly its stocked for Samoan customers. Otherwise they got the usual mini corner store items, you know — junk food, sodas, lotto tickets, etc. For anyone else, they would wonder why this place got 4 stars. For me, I get a little bit of Hawaii every time I stop by.
