Keep the Hula Alive/​Ka Pa Hula o Hi’iaka offers hula classes around Long Beach for kids, adults and seniors! I’ve been looking for hula classes for the past two years, and these classes are so much fun, and are scheduled in the evening (that’s a plus).
The instructor — Kanoe Barker is a riot and you definitely learn technique and history from Kanoe. Also, the classes are really affordable.
