Came after watching movies at the AMC. I usually only come to Jamba Juice if there is a BOGO promotion otherwise I’d rather save my money… for coffee. Then again I’m biased since I’m not a big fan of smoothies. Anyway ordered my Strawberry Surfing which was on the sour side. I think I got mixed up with Strawberry Dreaming, which was the one I wanted, but I forgot the name at the time. The service was prompt and got my drink in about 5 minutes. Keep in mind that the cups aren’t very durable. I broke my cup in the middle by accident as my nail went through the cup. My drink started leaking and I had to quickly rush to Jamba Juice. Luckily the guy was happy to change my cup and I was on my way back into the sun. Overall decent experience, but nothing about Jamba Juice makes me rave about it… unless it’s free or there is a deal.

When I go to the movies I used to get a smoothie here first, don’t like soda. But 2 weeks ago the AMC theater wouldn’t let me bring in a smoothie from their neighboring business. AMC doesn’t sell juices, this isn’t competition. And you know half the people in there got candy and snacks from Ralph’s at the other end of the mall in their purses and backpacks.

Awesome! Despite the fact that I couldn’t talk one of the employees into shooting his coworker in the face with a water cannon, this place rocks. As Eimi said, we went in there dripping wet and the employees didn’t bat an eye. The furniture outside was nice, and we used it to warm up and chit chat before the kayak ride back to shore. ^.^

An establishment that doesn’t mind you come in wearing a bathing suit and having wet butts from riding in a kayak to get there is awesome! Everyone is friendly too. One girl arrived with three dogs, who were super sweet since everyone was petting them and oohing and ahhing over them. We ended up striking up a conversation with her while we waited for drinks and helped her untangle her poor dogs since they were criss-crossing over each other. Then we happily went back to our kayak with our drinks, fully energized for the kayak ride back to shore. I hope this is the type of experience we have everytime we go there :)

This continues to be my favorite JJ location, by far. I go in there every Saturday morning after practice and the people are consistently friendly. They greet you the minute you walk inside, they’re happy to take your order, and they tell you to have a nice day when they hand you your drink. Sometimes it’s nice to have someone tell you to have a nice day and look like they really mean it.

This is my smoothie stop for those days when I was too busy/bored/drunk to fix lunch the night before. And NO, I don’t do the whole«pack my lunch before I go to work» thing. That’s coffee time. It’s rare that I’ve seen more than 4 people in line at this place(except for days when there’s a roaming pack of teenage girls on their way to the beach). However, recently they must have hired a crapload of new people– I can tell by the fact that they’re still getting the hang of the cash register, and they still believe in eye contact and calling the customer by their first name. So many«Thank you, Sharon“s… I almost couldn’t handle it! The smoothies are decent, the first boost is free, it’s part of a chain, but… it’s nice. Plus, it’s right next to a bookstore, so you know I’m all over that!
