Service in drive thru is always slow at night. I understand that a lot of people are leaving bars and whatnot and want food after drinking but they should also be prepared for that rush. They know they are one of the few fast food places right around here so they should capitalize on that and create faster service. Every time late night, they are slow. It deters me from coming here. I’d rather drive further and get faster service.

Right next to the VA, so you might see some crazy stuff. Very easy to access the drive thru if you know the lay of the land. Usually great service, food hot.

I randomly just went to this place cause my awesomely random parents’ decided to get an ice coffee and fries for a night snack. The service is not bad at all and they seem polite in here than any other jack N the box place I’ve been. The ice coffee is actually good and it was better than I expected. Their fries is just ok! I ended up taking their online surveys on the bottom of the receipt when you order. I got 2 free regular tacos for it! So yay! If you want some extra food, definitely take their short online survey, its worthiet!

I used to stop here often for breakfast when I was riding the buses, since it was close to the bus stop, and I was able to get my food, eat and get to the bus stop for my next bus. The food was always good. And the people in the morning were generally nice. The few times I stopped there for dinner on my way home was a different story. While the food was still OK, the workers were not nice. One time I had to wait while the supervisor and two other girls were discussing going out and where to get fake ID’s so they could do it. Another time there was a large family that obviously knew the supervisor and they were talking. I watched as two of the kids were playing with a soda cup, dropping it on the floor, putting it on their mouths and faces, only to watch the mother return the cup saying they got too many and watch the supervisor put it back on the stack of cups to give out(gross!!). Also they used to play music which was nice, but they stopped, was told the speakers broke. One night I went to get food and the doors were all locked and there were a lot of people inside, It looked like they were having an employee party. Would have been nice to have some notice they would be closing early. Noticed they did stick a piece of paper on the door after I had left. Also be prepared to deal with many homeless people, They like to make this place their headquarters in between standing out on the street begging for money.

WARNING: Stopped in so wife could take daughter to bathroom. There was a used needle on the Toilet paper holder in the women’s restroom. Daughter asked what the needle was for. Unreal.

Worst service I have ever had. The manager was taking orders and entered mine wrong. I go up to the line for the register after realizing that my munchie meal is the wrong one and there is a person complaining about not getting his coffee from the drive-thru. Once that person is done the manager proceeds to tip off some travelers from another nation(they wanted just a few burgers but he charged them for multiple combo meals). I get up to the register and the manager chews me out for«taking his money» and«wasting his food» and refuses to switch out the item. I ask for a refund and he gives me a refund but gets upset when I choose to keep the receipt. He then made fun of some other customers. I called corporate about it they gave me a free combo and a letter of apology, but this was the worst service I have ever had at a fast food joint.

First time ever even seeing this fast food restaurant. Don’t expect any kind of professionalism or customer service. Please believe this is not a random rant. Pulled to the window to not be greeted. Once they decided to service me I was extremely rushed followed by multiple rude«hello“s. Anyone who has worked customer service will know this is intentional rudeness. Even if the speaker system was faulty, I’d expect a «I apologize I can’t hear you» at least. I won’t go to this location EVERAGAIN!

My first one star review… It must take a lot to get me upset. We stopped at this Jack in the Box around 10:30 pm and we were about four cars back from the speaker. About a minute after we got there, the car directly in front of us bailed out of the line and left.(This should have been our first clue.) The next two cars seemed to take a long time to order. When we pulled up to the speaker, we weren’t greeted by anyone. No recording, no voice asking us to wait a moment, no one asking to take our order. We waited for over five minutes. Finally, we started calling ourselves. «Hello?» No response. We figured the speaker was broken and that’s why the others took so long. We pulled up to wait and order at the window. I heard the person in the car behind me calling into the speaker, «Hello? Is anyone there?» She called out twice before receiving an answer. Uh oh. Apparently, the speaker does work. Upon arriving at the window, we were given the total for the car behind us. We explained that we hadn’t ordered and had waited at the speaker for over five minutes. The person in the window, Ernesto, told us he couldn’t take our order and we would need to pull around. No apologies, no explanation. All he would say was that we would need to start the process over again. We did not choose to drive around and will not return to this Jack in the Box. Customer service goes a long way with us.

Legitimately afraid for my well being… I ordered my tasty meal, and since I was staying at the classy Motel 6(insert sarcasm) about 100 feet away, I figured I’d sit and enjoy my food. What followed what a cast of people straight out of some circus. First a guy walks in, looks homeless, smells homeless, and goes in the bathroom for about 45 mns. Not kidding. He comes out looking pretty stoned but no judging here. Next walks in a girl no older than 20, wearing only a bra and short shorts. No, I’m not kidding and no, it was not flattering on her. In she goes to the bathroom barefoot, comes out and leaves 10 mns later. Finally an unkempt(homeless) gentleman walks in acting as if he chugged 46 redbulls, or maybe he was on drugs. I’m not a scientist. Either way he buys 2 tacos, pays with a $ 5 bill, gets his change then returns to the counter 30 seconds later in a panic accusing the teller of not giving him his change. I feel bad for the kind ladies behind the counter, don’t know how they deal with that day in day out.

This Jack in the Box is a royal pain to get into and out of. For the uninitiated, you can only approach it going northbound on PCH or westbound on 7th St. Otherwise, you’ll have to take Bellflower northbound, flip around at Anaheim, and drive back to 7th St. With that said, parking was limited and dimly lit. I didn’t have a problem with it but I can understand why it may put off others. Like other locations this Jack was recently remodeled. Nothing stands out about the food or service.

Good location by the university, but the amount of transient/homeless people here is many because of the VA hospital, bus transfers, and motels next door. I don’t have a problem with that except when really unhygienic people are coughing and touching on everything especially when one had his hands down his pants and then touched the lids and napkin dispenser. Seriously. I was so grossed out I couldn’t even eat inside the restaurant, plus I felt unsafe being there as a single female on my own. Drive thru only next time, if I even come back. Yuck.

Menu here is the same as any other. If you stay low-key during daylight hours and keep your head down, you can get in and out with no trouble. Careful when you exit, there’s some finicky turn rules around here, just asking to get ticketed. But the problems arise after dark. It’s nice that they have a 24hour drive-thru, but it’s not cool that I have to get into a shouting match over the intercom speaker to get my order processed. I’m not trying to be rude lady, I’m just yelling my order cuz you haven’t heard a word I’ve said so far. Fix your headset and please don’t spit in my food.

Not only was the girl working the drive-thru window late-nite a complete rude bitch, but the fact that they consistently fail to get any order I’ve ever placed correct(even after repeating myself at LEAST5 times) is a sad sad reflection of the kind of morons they hire to microwave a burger… I order a burger with no tomatoes and I get a burger with only meat and cheese. An $ 8 combo at that… And to top it all off it took them almost 20 minutes to put this processed garbage in a bag and hand it to me. The curly fries were ice cold and raw in the middle as well. As others have noted, there is almost ALWAYS a cop car pulling people over here at night as well. The trash containers being left open right where the drive-thru lane is also makes for a terrible stench that immediately induces a gag-reflex too. Seriously, the drunks visiting this place late at night could do a better job. Avoid this place unless you like over-paying for food that isn’t even edible…

The move from the corner was a really great idea. I love how they have inside seating now. They have a great menu and cheap food. Tacos are my late night friend.

How can I say this? These people are a bunch of idiots. The food is the same Jack in the box as any other, but the people they hire are as dumb as the human food chain allows. Now I know it doesn’t take brains to process nasty food for peeps on the run or drunks going home after the club. Or maybe that is the criteria for Jack; that dude in commercials with the big head. He HAS to have a big head to think that his food is prime. LOL and hahaha! Jack, your food sucks and panders to the«moment«and the nutrition deficient and your employees are at this particular are Lousy with a capital L. My lapse of judgment made me realize that this is the reason I stopped going to Jack in the box in the 80’s when the employees at a certain location admitted to peeing in the secret sauce. Weeeellll, these are the same type of folks that work at this location. No one under 23 in management is a huge problem. Anywhere.

Jack in the Box is one of the better fast food chains. Their food is usually pretty good. I’ve had no issues with the food here, service is good for the most part, and the employees are nice. My main issue with this place is that it seems REALLY seedy. Seriously. It’s not dirty or anything… but there’s just this sort of creepy, dank vibe about the place. I wouldn’t be surprised to find people using drugs in the bathroom. It’s that kind of vibe. Shady looking people are generally sitting inside and I’ve had those same people make rude/inappropriate comments towards me. :O I don’t understand why this Jack in the Box is soo creepy since it’s in a nice location. I definitely avoid eating in here and I wouldn’t bring my family here. Just go through the drive-thru and avoid stepping inside!

Stopped by here on New Year’s Eve at 11pm to grab a quick bite to eat before ringing in the new year. We’d seen 7 cops before pulling into the parking lot which we weren’t sure was a good thing or bad thing. We ordered our food and joined the rest of the customers cloistered in the back of the place away from the windows. As we waited for our food we did some people watching. We noticed many cars quickly parking in the lot, running to the counter, and leaving. We noticed one gentleman concerned about the cop who had pulled a car over a bout a block up as he paced back and forth peeking out the window and ducking behind the wall. The food came fairly quickly. Was hot and made just the way we ordered it. This place wasn’t a terrible experience, but an interesting one. I probably wouldn’t come back here after 10 pm.

Well to start this place is a bit difficult to get in and out of, which may cause problems for inexperienced drivers, but that’s not the point, here might be one of the few fast food places where they don’t screw up my order at least on one occasion, I’ve been coming to this particular location for years and that says something, the food is like at most other jack in the boxes, and the service is really friendly, I have no clue on why I keep coming back… all jack in the boxes are for the most part the same… right?

This place is fast and easy, unlike my fellow Unilocaler. Possibly the first drive thru, once named Topsy, Jack in the box has always been about giving you better fast food, for the people. Like many Jack in the boxes in suburban and corporate areas, pretty clean, nice to look at and an efficient drive thru, this one was the same from my experience today. Not much parking here, its on a small lot on PCH near 7th. The historic purpose of Jack in the Box was always to give better fast food. Robert Peterson seems to play out this vision in being competitve with the McDonalds and Burger King by expanding his menu and serving breakfast all day. I have not tried thier Asian cuisine, fruit smoothies or salads but I have enjoyed thier fast food version of Americana. In a pinch, in a hurry, Jack in the Box has served well, though I try to steer from thier higher cholesterol items. Purpose of review and reccomendation: This review was different from my reviews of treats such as chocolate, broasted chicken, different from restaurants, different from venues and different from health related establishments. This has the sole purpose of time management. This place can come in handy if you need a quick bite, grab thier skinless chicken breast pieces or salads if your watching your figure. They have milkshakes, pastries, cheesecake and mozza sticks if you want a treat. This Jack in the Box is like many others, serve you from a variety of options in a small amount of time. Though, you do have other options in the area.

If i MUST go to a Jack in the Box… I go to this location. Yeah it sucks getting in and out of here but if it proves to be too difficult there is always the Denny’s down and across the street… It is pretty much 24⁄7 and 365 which is awesome since I don’t do the whole holiday thingy. Every time I have come here the employees have been courteous and have never fucked up my «Breakfast Jack without ham» Also, my son and I have been hitting up this location frequently ever since they started having Yo Gabba Gabba! toys. Big ups to Alfredo who helped us to achieve our goal of collecting ALL of the finger puppets!!!
