In Pro Per Document Preparation Services

My family went to Attorney Pamela Buckner-​Davis, owner and manager of In Pro Per Document Preparation Service. My father wanted to make some changes to his Living trust.
Pamela looked at the trust and assured our family that she would make the requested changes and everything would be legal. Well, when my father died my brother was the successor trustee in charge of distributing the trust. He called Pamela to inform her of our father’s death. He asked her for direction and advice, and she told him all was good and to distribute the trust assets as she set it up personally, by her own hand. The courts ruled her changes invalid and illegal. Our older brother sued us in court and won a $ 600,000.00 judgement against the two younger brothers. Pamela was found to be negligent and guilty of malpractice. She agreed to an $ 80,000.00 settlement and only paid us approximately $ 3000.00 (three thousand). She did NOT carry liability insurance, called E & O coverage
which is malpractice insurance. She then filed BANKRUPTCY and prepared her paperwork to benefit her and her husband. She never paid us the agreed amount as she promised. She stalled her payments until she could finish her Bankruptcy. We lost our family home due to this woman’s negligence and willful disregard to buy business liability E & O coverage. My understanding is that she still DOES NOT CARRY E & O professional liability insurance. When she was deposed by our lawyer, she admitted that she knew nothing about the «power of appointment» option allowed by law, that would have been the correct legal choice to make to state in a new Will to be added to the Trust. So, be careful of attorneys like Pamela Buckner-​Davis, whom seem to not care about financial responsibility to her clients! She was a NIGHTMARE TO MY FAMILY! She had no business handling this trust. I guess she just wanted to make some money by billing us for legal services in an area of law that she was obviously not qualified to handle.
