The business that doesn’t want business — I called to inquire about the food, thought it would be nice to take to work. I spent a long time talking to the owner on the phone, she even did a little meditation with me over the phone. I was pretty excited and she seemed super sweet. She said she would send me an email of the food choices. Couple days go by, no email. I texted her asking about it, she said they had computer issues. Ok. Another couple days go by, nothing. She sends text saying it should be out no later than that evening. Next morning I check, nothing. You can see how this goes. I eventually get an email but it’s not of the food choices, it’s a meditation exercise?! I asked her about it and she said she didn’t know what happened and she will check. I just gave up and surprisingly she hasn’t followed up after a month. What a shock.

I’m so sad. My husband and I were clients from April 2013 — November 2013. We both had meals delivered 5 days a week. I have a love/hate relationship with Hunt+Gather. I really want to like them but the difficulty dealing with the customer service(and even just simply canceling my service) makes them difficult to recommend. Loved: convenience creative food ideas upbeat emails and cheerful personality Hate: inconsistency of customer service skipping some days of the meals and being told they won’t charge me and they do. The worst part is they then apologize(and sound sincere) but have never removed the charges. No one will even get back to me. I got bored of the meals and cancelled on 11÷1÷13. I was still charged 4 weeks and they have yet to really reply to any of my emails. Each week is $ 150+…thats a lot of money sitting on my card. I have emails from all year saying«sure, no problem» that I only needed meals for 3 of the 5 days that week, but I was always charged for a full week. I’m glad I finally looked through my statements to realize no one else cared. No one will get back to me and an email was sent out by Kaye saying there were lots of disruptions in their service lately and they were taking a break to sort it out. I am going to dispute the charges with my credit card company to get my money back before they go out of business! PS. There are 3 negative similar reviews on Unilocal, that Unilocal considers«not relevant». Hmm. PPS. They have also taken down their Facebook page. I was curious to see if others are fuming as well.

What a find! I randomly came across the website and I ordered the Paleo food from the menu and kinda thought it might be lacking in taste because it’s the one that really eliminates all the stuff I normally love to it eat. I could not have been more wrong, the food is absolutely AMAZING!!! They make it so easy to order and then it’s magically delivered right to your door! Not to mention after just 3 weeks of getting meals, my body feels so much better and I have more energy. Give them a try you will not be disappointed:)

Worst customer service ever. 3 emails via their website, 2 voice messages, and no return calls. Received food for one week and charged twice. Seems okay as long as you have no questions… otherwise, like the other reviewers, you are screwed. NOTONE returned message. Are they afraid of their customers?

I heard about Hunt+Gather through a friend at work who I noticed had lost some weight. When I asked her what diet she was on, she told me she she wasn’t really on any diet but had been ordering lunch and dinner meals from this company because she wanted to go «paleo» and loved it. I decided to give it a try. I placed my order online and opted for the direct delivery service. When I received my first meals, I thought the container looked a bit small, but it was deceiving. When I actually put the food and salad that goes with it on a plate, there was plenty. Sometimes I can’t even finish all the meat/fish. The meals so far have all been different(no repeats) and are very good. A lot of protein with salad and some veggies. My compliments to the chef! I really like having portion-controlled meals and feel good about eating non-processed real food made from healthy ingredients. I strictly avoid high fructose corn syrup and partially hydrogenated vegetable oils and was glad to hear that they never use either of them. I don’t have time to cook for myself, so this is so convenient. And I’m losing weight too! I’m surprised about some of the negative reviews on here. My personal experience has been nothing but positive.(My personal favorites are the pizza and baby back ribs. Yum!)

Zero stars if there was an option. I was so excited to get this deal on Amazon Local. I spoke with the owner in August and this sounded like the perfect solution to jumpstart my new fitness and diet regiment. The location on Pine Ave. was within walking distance to my office. Perfect. To my dismay, I have called over the past several days and left detailed messages stating that I was ready to go for the whole month and make a commitment. Being industrious, I decided to place an online order through their website. After selecting through the various options available, I realize the online ordering site does not go any further that selecting items and method of delivery! If you are out of business, please state so on your outgoing voicemail and take down your website. Or at least call back. Shady McGrady.

I’ve been receiving meals from Hunt+Gather for about 6 months now — the food is delicious and I have seen some phenomenal results that I’ve never had before. I’m talking about working out and eating«healthy» and never having a six pack for over a year, to within only 30 days looking exactly how I want! They are very friendly… 5 star service all day long! I would recommend Hunt+Gather to my family and closest friends.

Ladies, Have you always wanted a hot body without working hard for it? Have you always wanted a rich, successful, hot boyfriend without being a supermodel? Well it’s time to grow up, because those things only happen in fairy tales. Having a hot body is a combination of eating clean and training dirty. Often times people spend countless hours of working out at the gym without thinking about the food that they put in their mouths, not to mention unmentionables that we put in our mouths you know what I’m sayin’? hehe. No? ok good. your mind shouldn’t go there anyway. Anyhow, your trainers will hate me for this, but weight loss is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. But who has time to cook tasty and healthy food when you are out and about searching for prince charming? Luckily the fairy hotmother from Hunt + Gather can help you with 80% of the weight loss battle. They have super tasty prepared meals that you can either pick up or have them delivered. My favorites so far are the kimchee chicken taco, sloppy joes, and curry chicken. For cheaper than eating out for lunch you can have a nutritious meal and diet/workout consultation. The owner/chef is an amazing person and will help you get to your goals whether it is getting that bikini body, developing a six pack, or just be healthy and fit. Happy eating!
