My husband, son and I have been customers for many years. We buy the soaps and candles for much appreciated gifts. I have several treasured pieces of jewelry from Heavenly Scents that were gifted to me. The owners are caring, genuine people who offer the best quality oils, stones, and other items. Once you find this shop, you just keep coming back!

I’ve been blessed by Dean and Marti since they started the shop on Broadway way-​back-​when. Now, I am doubly blessed by their added items in the shop on Newport Ave. The soap, candles, incense, salts, stones, pendants, earrings are awesome. Dean & Marti are astute to the customers’ needs and have the knowledge to fulfill the needs. The new location is convenient because one can park in the Smart & Final lot and walk to the shop. Plenty of parking! Yes!

Dean was awesome!!! Love the fresh soaps he makes and bath salts he makes. Will definitely be back for their handmade candles :-)

Wow! I haven’t been able to locate a new place to pick up some oils since I moved to long beach until now and this place is amazing!
Located in a little shop just off the main street, you can stop by here for all your incense and oil needs. The owner also sells soap that he makes here too! He was super knowledgable about all the oils and seemed to enjoy sharing this knowledge with me. Will definitely be stopping by again soon.

Truly the kindest people I have ever met. I will purchase a majority of my oils there and I will only use their soaps which smell and feel amazing. Very knowledgeable and offers their suggestions when asked or you could have a conversation about anything with them and feel like you’re right at home. Highly recommend and am a forever costumer.

I’ve been a customer of Dean & Marti’s since they opened up on Broadway in the latter part of the 90’s, when I first moved to Long Beach. The new location on Newport Ave near the Smart and Final shopping center, offers lots of street parking and overflow parking in the parking lot. They get a lot of walk-​in traffic, new and old clients, and the consensus seems to be the same… we LOVE it!

Nice quaint store. Walked in and the guy there was really hospitable and knowledgeable and helping me with everything. My first time today and even told me they are dog friendly. Which is a plus for me because I live near by and walk my dog often and so it’ll be convenient for me. I bought candles and some soap with a soap holder. I walked in the store with questions and they were well answered. Great welcoming atmosphere. Today was my first BUT definitely not my last.

My first impression of this place was that it was wonderful and that i would shop here often for my essential oils for work. Sadly my second experience with the woman that works there (first time i was helped by the gentleman who was very positive) i brought my selection of essential oils which to mix and match with some of their products and instead of positively directing me towards a purchase, this woman begins to speak so negatively about my oils without even inspecting them she basically said i had crap oils though i paid a good amount for 100%pure theraputic grade. As i stood there quietly letting her go on about how my oils werent «real» without even looking at them she finally stops and says, «go on i can feel it, say what you want i wont get offended» i chose to continue to be quiet for a moment then walked out the door with my box full of hundreds of dollars worth of oils that my clients love and i know is good quality as i have been an avid user of aromatherapy products for over a decade. Clearly this woman doesnt know the definition of offended vs. offensive or when to keep her personal opinions to herself for the sake of her business. I wont be back, that was just entirely too awkward and i felt a combative and aggressive vibe coming from this woman that i was best to say nothing as anything i would have said would have been wrong in her eyes. I am happy with my investment thanks, not happy with my 2^nd visit to heavenly scents

Was sad to see that they weren’t at the old location off Broadway but relieved that there was a sign with the address of the new location. Dean and Marty are so sweet! They weren’t quite open yet but let me purchase some E.O.‘s with cash. Go check out there new bigger spot and grab some awesome stuff at amazing prices!

Came by to purchase some Christmas gifts for a co-​worker and I had a great experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, which I needed since I don’t know much about essential oils or aromatherapy. He was nice enough to put my purchases into two different gift bags with tissue paper and took his time to make sure they looked nice and neat. Great little store and everything you could ask for from a small, independent business. Thanks!

Came here wed and picked up a couple stones with my boyfriend. The owners are so knowledgeable and warm welcoming. We learned a lot and will definitely be back for more

I love coming to this store, the environment is so calming and welcoming. The owners, Marti and Dean have a variety of the best essential oils (they specialize in blends), beautiful stones, vast selection of oracle cards, and more. My favorite products are their array of handmade soaps and candles made with essential oils!!! If you’ve never burned a candle made with essentials, you must try it! I’ve used their products for years, and I will never buy my candles and soap anywhere else, period!
Support your local mom and pop store!!!

This place is a total gem. I came in for the first time a few weeks ago and could really tell how passionate the owners are about what they do. He told me where all of their oils came from and had me smell some I would’ve have never thought of getting otherwise. I went in just to stock up on lavender oil but walked out with some amazingly scented bath salts, oracle cards and a smile from the wonderful conversation! Highly recommend!

I had a beautiful experience here, the owner is awesome and her selection of stones is what i needed. I have a sneaky suspicion that she was reading my heart she led me in the direction of the stones i have been researching without me even asking :) She also has moldavite! Real authentic moldavite! How cool is she? Overall i can say that she will see me again. Attached are pictures of my crystal haul.
And yes two dolla signs is right but you pay for quality stones and customer but I think the wit and spiritual knowledge is free!

I stumbled across this place as I was looking for eucalyptus oils, I’m extremely happy that I found this location because, not only is the organic eucalyptus oil awesome but the soap they have is even better than Jack Black’s Turbo Wash that I pay high dollar for at Nordstrom’s.
If you like scented oil’s, candles and soaps, this is the place for you!

I recently moved to the area and stopped in while on a bike ride. I’m so glad I did!!! I spent about an hour with Dean, who showed me around and explained everything they have to offer. I walked out with some amazing soaps I can’t wait to try. I’ve also found a place right down the street that I can purchase essential oils for my scrubs and candles at a great price! I’ll definitely be going back again and again. Thank you for the info Dean!

I love this place… The owners are wonderful and knowledgeable… The scents (bath/​oils) are great, but my favorite is the incense!

Heavenly Scents is the real deal!
This is the best place to get essential oils, aromatherapy, incense sticks, and natural made soaps in all of the LA and OC area!
The owner Marty welcomed me into her store and gave me the list of all of her essential oils and the pricing for each of the oils. You can buy the oils by the ounce to take home and use for your own aromatherapy needs, or you can mix your own lotions and soaps here in the store.
I created the most amazing bath and body wash using essential oils of Grapefruit, Mandarin, Lemon, Bergamot, Spearmint, Tangerine, White tea and Peppermint. I ended up taking home several bottles of this lovely body wash and even gave a few away as gifts this past Christmas.
It was one of the best citrusy-​mint body washes that I have ever smelled in my life!
My family and friends absolutely loved them! Its great to experiment, layer scents and make your own fragrances. The next time I will try to make my own natural Grapefruit body soaps and even buy some of their natural rose, verbena and lemon incense sticks.

This place is truly a hidden gem in the LBC!
