I was referred to Hair by Meelah by one of my friends. I went to her to get my hair done for a wedding that I WS going to that afternoon. The shop she works @ is a friendly and fun environment! I was very satisfied with my fishtail side ponytail. Her prices are very reasonable. I will be going back to her again for her to do my hair. Everyone @ the wedding LOVED my hair!!!

I have been going to Hair by Meelahs for over 10 years. She’s always professional, friendly and knows what she’s doing. I have never left the shop dissatisfied. I recommend checking her out.

For some time I’d been trying to find a weave stylist close to downtown Long Beach/​Alamitos Heights area where I live. It turns out, there aren’t any. At least, none that I could find until now. I recently found Hair by Meelah on Unilocal.Kameelah works out of R Rated Hair near Orizaba and Broadway.
Based on the photos posted here, I made an appointment for a consultation. You should always do this when going to to a new stylist, even if it’s a referral from your BFF. Trust me on this. You do not want to find out that you and your stylist aren’t on the same page in the middle of getting your hair done.
The consultation went well and I made an appointment. The shop is super cute and clean. Kameelah is very friendly and professional. She wants you to have a good experience so she listens to what you want. She works fast which is a huge plus for me. Her price for a full weave is very reasonable in my opinion. She did a great job on my hair. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and, in fact, have already begun doing so.
