The best!!! Love love love Golden Bowl!!! Extra well done chicken, extra green onion, and sesame seeds, avacado!!! winner winner chicken dinner!!! Could eat every day if I could!!!

I’ve been here a few times already and I’m never disappointed with either the taste or the portions! They give you ginormous portions at a cheap price

This place is nostalgic for me. The location in Paramount was where I experienced my very first Teriyaki bowl. It’s a decent spot for a quick bite to eat. There really isn’t anything special about it. It’s filling and satisfying. I like coming here when I’m in the mood for a chicken bowl. The price is right too.

I can’t begin to explain how furious I am with this business, if I could I would’ve put NO stars what so ever. I don’t usually make bad reviews but they pissed me off so much that I had to let it be known.
Today I ordered for takeout over the phone, I SPECIFICALLY ordered a small chicken bowl WITH BROWN RICE, no sauce, no seeds and extra green onions. I came in about 10 min later, and the girl who took my order said that she didn’t charge me for my brown rice and I told her okay well I can wait. So she went to go check on my order and she told me that they had already made it with the white rice and «The manager said that they can’t switch out the meat» Ok…
FIRST OF ALL, I don’t want my meat switched that’s not what I asked. I just want the brown rice. That’s exactly why I said that I can wait, I understand people make mistakes and she forgot to add the brown rice to my order. BUT TO TELL ME THAT THE FREAKIN MANAGER SAID THEY CAN’T SWITCH OUT THE MEAT??? Basically they’re telling me that they can’t make my order and to just deal with whatever I have. So I just said nevermind and walked out. I know I came at a really busy time but they should’ve been able to make it happen. I don’t believe I had made an impossible order for them to just do it over. How they handled the situation was completely UNPROFESSIONAL and RIDICULOUS. What if I was allergic to something? Would that even have made the situation different??? If your manager REALLY did say that and you are reading this, PLEASE reach out to me because that was just flat out ABSURD.
I used to be a fan of Golden Bowl and never had any troubles, but as of today I’m never coming back here and I will let everybody I know of their terrible customer service. Save yourself the trouble AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Looks like a an older style Taco bell building with plenty of parking. Not many spots to sit, but the food was good. I ended up getting a Beef bowl with brown rice, avocado and green onions.
Called in order for pickup, and order was ready on time. Friendly staff and food was much better than Waba grill or Yoshinoya.

Ok, so I walk in and there is a good view of the kitchen from behind the counter. That’s always a good sign but what really impressed me was the diminutive Asian old lady that was prepping fresh chicken breasts in the back, deftly removing fatty tissue with a large cleaver. I’m sold!
The menu is very simple but I think that’s great, bowls of chicken, beef or veggies. Couple of burgers and burritos and that’s about it. But this simplicity equals in fresher ingredients that are frequently used and lightning fast service.
I have an affinity for hole-​in-​the-​wall joints and this exemplifies it: central location, great food and quick service, no frills – just good food.

I typically tend to forget about chicken teriyaki as a lunch option sometimes. This place came up during a Unilocal search. Instead of opting for a popular food chain for teriyaki, glad this was the choice for sure. Huge portions, like super big. Dank French fries too. Do not like that they charge for ranch but whateverrrr. Avocado is yes.

Never been here but the Unilocal review for Yoshinoya was bad & these reviews were good so gave it a try. Got the chicken plate for my husband & I got the beef plate. It came out pretty fast even with a few in front of me. Got in the car and of course, being hungry, I opened the to go box & tasted it. The beef is shredded & a bit tough so my first impression was not so good.
Got home & was concerned my
husband wouldn’t like it– so I warned him. But he loved the chicken! I had to eat more of the beef & it took me a minute to warm up and I liked it too. The serving is huge. The next day it was even better too!

Cheap and delicious. I would choose this place over flame broiler any day. Very large portions.

Great variety on the menu. Decent prices. I’ve only had the chicken teriyaki bowls here so that is mainly what my review is about. I usually opt for Flame Broiler off of Wardlow and LB BLVD, but their grill was down. So this was the other closest place. Flavor is almost just as good, but their sauce tends to be gelatinous. Lol
I called in an order for my supervisor and myself. I requested chicken breast meat only for my bowl. I get there and notice that both bowls are priced equally. So I asked about the chicken breast as I’m paying and the cashier tells me they don’t to that there. Ummmm… ok? Why wasn’t I told this over the phone? Actually, she said they don’t have chicken breast… like at all. That was kinda odd.
My only other complaint is that the employee I spoke with over the phone seemed clueless as to the amount of meat that’s offered in each bowl. For example, Flame broiler states the mini bowl contains 3oz of meat vs 6 or 7oz in the regular bowl.
Will I continue eating here? Most likely. Haha

This place makes my backyard smell like a Japanese carnival everyday. I love golden bowl. My go to is the teriburger with the beef teriyaki meat instead of a burger, add avocado. they don’t skimp on the avocado either!

Food is great. Lots of different bowls chicken, beer, pork, fish, and shrimp. They also have burgers which I’ve never tired seems strange lol

Everything off their menu is delicious! I always get the chicken burrito. The teriyaki sauce just makes it 100 times more delicious. Food price is affordable. Sometimes there’s long lines. I wish they have a drive thru at this location. I’ve been coming here for years since I was a kid. One of my favorite places to eat

My favorite place for that good one classic teriyaki chicken plate. The plates are massive so you can make two meals out of it. I love that you can put avocado on top, even though last two times I picked up an order, I got all the way home and noticed they forgot to add the avocado that I paid extra for and had to drive all the way back and present my receipt to prove it.
The food is pretty decent, and the wait is never too long. Yet, still thinking I prefer Flame Broiler because they chop off the fat before they give it to you. I am the type who takes one big mouthful of un-​chewable fat, and I cant finish the rest…
Yet I keep giving this place chances because for the price, they are decent. Just confirm you got your full order before you leave.
The staff is always friendly. There is always parking too.

Large Portions but the best deal is the large for only 65 cents more then the medium. Comes green onions and sesame seeds if you prefer. The staff is very nice and the food is cooked to order and ready in minutes. I prefer the beef bowl however I have had the chicken and it’s very good as well. If you can’t decide between the two the sell a bowl that has half chicken and half beef. You can dine in if you like but it’s not that big inside and it’s kinda disorderly and dirty which is why I take out and gave it only 4 stars, otherwise the place is great.

Great service and great food. Big portions for the price is great too. Seating inside abs outside. Only minus and that’s why I rate it a 4 star is that the bathroom is outside. One bathroom only for either makes our females. That’s it.

I’ve been eating here for a while and I’ve had a few of their items. This place is way better than Flame Broiler I believe. Their beef and chicken are better and they give you more. I tend to always get the Beef and Chicken combo plate with avocado. So yummy! The prices are about average, the plate is about $ 8 and some change. The hamburgers are even pretty darn good for a teriyaki place! If you’re in the area and you’re looking for a good option for teriyaki, this is the place!

This is another teriyaki place we like to go to when the mood hits. We order the teriyaki plate with the fried shrimp. Chicken, rice, salad, and shrimp all are very good and flavorful, and it is plentiful because me and hubby share the plate and it is satisfying. Minus two stars for 1. Charging for extra anything
2. We do not eat here because the place is not that inviting for lack of a better word 3. Customer service is a hit or miss depending on the day

Love Love Love finding good food near work! This place has eluded me for over a year.
With lean meat and generous portions, I’m all about this place and it’s ridiculously long name.
Went with my friend recently and we both liked it. I got the chicken and beef bowl (large) and it lasted me two lunches so it turned out to be a good deal as well.
Just a heads up, you have to add veggies etc as a side (served in the bowl but cost extra), so keep that in mind.
I’m sure I’ll be heading back soon.

I’m a usual over at the flame broiler (can’t review either without comparing right ?) and I tend to visit them more often that not. I wanted to switch it up a bit so I ordered a beef bowl with brown rice and avacado. The meat was cooked fresh and the rice was not over cooked. I love the food here but the price seems to add up with all the add ons .
Overall great experience here at golden bowl and will be back.
