Best barbershop in long beach hands down. Been coming here since I was 9 or 10. Now I bring my kids each have there own barber. Great staff great atmosphere. Owner Jose makes random BBQ for customers gives back. If your looking for quality service come here or your money back guarantee.

This time I took my baby brother to the barbershop the employees were very polite from the time you walk in to the time you leave. The lady seemed to know what she was doing men were satisfied with their haircut and on they went. Alma has a great attitude fast and on point not like when I walked into Razor on PCH in long beach they gave me the worst customer service the experience there was not good at all… Yes my baby brother left happy and he will continue to go… I will definitely bring my son when I’m in the area I highly recommend it… Walk-​ins are ok…

This place was horrible. I waited forever, and the woman can’t evenly shave me, and when the owner came, he didn’t do any better. And when I was upset, their answer was don’t come back! So if you are not Mexican, they will clearly give you terrible service!!!

I read the reviews on Unilocal and was looking for an alternate barber shop. I found it interesting that I passed by many times by this place and didn’t seem appealing. I’ve only had 2 persons explain why my hair should be cut the way it should be and Maria at Fade was able to explain that to me. I was impressed. Mainly because the persons who explained to me how my hair should be cut charged me 50 and 25 for a ‘deluxe’ haircut I paid only 12 $ and got the same if not a better haircut which I loved. I will be returning to fade more often as I was impressed. I was sat down almost immediately and was observing the other barbers and were doing an excellent job in my opinion on everyone else.

Barbershop doesn’t have a system to have proper coordination on who has been waiting for a long time and the ones who had just arrived. I end up leaving once I asked a barber if they have a system on whether who has been in the barbershop longer than others and she froze with a blank face and says there have been people waiting longer than me. I don’t recommend this barbershop, you’ll just end up wasting your time trying to get a haircut there. I waited for 1and a half hour. During that time period three people had cut in front of me.

Great service, clean atmosphere. All the barbers can fade perfectly, as well as other men’s hairstyles. It was packed when I walked in, but only waited about 10 minutes or so. Not much conversation means faster cuts and less wait. Awesome. Will be back next time I’m in the LBC.

The barbers in this shop are as good as you will find ANYWHERE. All the haircutters here are experts and artists with clippers. You will see that each one takes all the time necessary to give the most detailed and perfectly trimmed cut to match the look and desire of each individual customer. Everyone — barbers AND customers alike — is friendly and welcoming. No attitudes here.

In my opinion I think this is the best barber shop for fades and taper they do haircuts for like 12 bucks and have nice employees I would recommend this spot if you stay in long beach cause I come here like once a week or so

I just moved into Long Beach from Dayton, OH and Fade was recommended to me by a co-​worker who also recommended Alma as a barber. Alma gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had and I will be going back. You walk in and ask for whatever barber you’d like. It costs $ 12 for a hair cut. You don’t need to make an appointment. They take cash only. Inside it clean and the barbers are friendly. I’m not sure why it’s called Fade Barber Shop Unisex as this is a barber and they only do men’s hair cuts.

When I was an undergrad at CSULB, I used to come here all the time. If you need a fade or taper w/​a line-​up for like $ 12, this is the spot… This is definitely the spot. If you are looking for a more sophisticated look, this is probably not the spot. Fortunately for me, I always needed the former. BTW, though they say that this is a Unisex shop, I have never seen a female get a haircut here.
