Emma Stone

Emma is my go to person for my hair. She has an eye for what haircut and color fits my lifestyle. Her salon is clean and spacious with plenty of natural light. Plenty of street parking. Emma is wonderful and she is truly a gem in the Long Beach community.

I go to Emma, and she is excellent!
Very friendly, and knows what she is doing with the scissors. She always makes sure I look the best when I am leaving the salon.
She also offers free sideburn trims in between cuts.
Often the salon will offer free champagne or sangria.

Ok this review is WAAAY overdue, my Luddite ways shouldn’t keep Emma from receiving the accolades due her.
With that said… If you are looking for an AMAZING colorist, and all around freakin’ AWESOME hair stylist and really fun person to pamper and delight you and your hair, then seek no further! Emma is hands down the BEST!!! I am super, super picky about who does my hair and I wouldn’t trust any other than Emma now to do my color and cut and even the semiannual Brazilian Blowout. Every time I walk in feeling down about life, my hair and everything Emma works her magic and I walk out feeling like a beautiful princess on top of the world.
I have known her since 2012 and followed her from Salon Indah in Belmont Shore to Sage Salon on 4^th Street. I trust her expertise and judgment with hair (and she totally gets me) so much that she does my tween-​age daughter’s hair with no need for input from me (If you knew me – that’s a BIG amount of trust).
So what are you waiting for, call her or better yet text her for an appointment. You will be so happy you did and kicking youself for not getting in to see her sooner!!!

Part of what makes a great hairstylist is a person’s ability and willingness to listen to the client, and to hear what the client says and apply his or her talents in a way to make the client’s ideas into something amazing. Emma does just that every time I come in, despite that I change my hair pretty much every 6 weeks or so. Plus she’s entertaining and has the cutest baby ever. What more could you ask for?

Emma is incredible. I’m so lucky to have found her. She is great with my curly hair (having her own thick curls to manage). She rocks the color, cuts and style. Emma makes you feel comfortable — she’s warm, fun and sassy. She cuts my daughters’ hair also (one with thick waves) and the other with curls down her back. And you should see the dudes after they exit her chair. Hurry make an appointment!

Emma is great with hair and keeps things entertaining through highlights, cut and blowdry. I followed her from salon indah and sage is much more convenient and parking is great. I highly recommend her!
