Dave’s World Famous Burgers

Probably the best Western burger ever. The fries are pretty good too. This place makes my list!

So excited to watch a little neighbor café get a face lift on the menu, in the dining room and outside! New owners have come in and are very excited to build a great place for the neighbors to call their own… and they live walking distance to the place so you know they’ll want it looking exceptional!
I enjoyed my burger each of the three times I’ve stopped in. They’ve upgraded the ingredients and make them fresh to order.
The service was very friendly. The owners are lovely people! Nice to see this trend remain true to the location as the last owner was fabulous, too.
Stop by now… and in another few weeks to watch the transformation! They’re on a roll in the right direction.

The place is no longer Dave’s World Famous Burgers. But they still do sell burgers. The venue will change to Side Yard Café pretty soon. Fried zucchini was actually really good. Burgers were eh… okay. I had better burgers elsewhere. I guess I will have to try the other Dave’s. Don’t come if you are looking for an awesome burger. Come to check out a new venue in a week or so. Also, got the order wrong — asked for no pickle and got extra pickles instead.

I went here on a whim since I had a doctor’s appointment down the street. As I was heading home (~4:30), I saw this little burger shack. Due to my intrigue and empty stomach, I stopped here without referring to Unilocal before. When I got inside, I realized that it was happy hour. How odd — a little burger shack with a happy hour! No complaints there. But the happy hour is strange — it’s something like 2:35 to 4:35. Why the 35? No idea. But oh well. The cashier said that their special is the cubby burger — which is a burger with hotdogs. That sounded weird to me, but I am quite adventurous when it comes to burgers and YOLO, right? So I got the cubby burger with fries and I was not wow-​ed by it. The hot dog texture with the the burger was a little weird. It was fine, but I would not order it again. The fries were nice and crispy but tasted like any other frozen french fry.
The cashier was nice and the service was fast. The prices are very cheap too. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. If I do come back, it’ll be just for the regular burger. No hot dogs please!

The food is just ok.
I tried out the cubby burger combo but I wasn’t impressed with it. It certainly wasn’t anything special.
Other than that service and prices were great.

First time. And wont be my last! definitely a diamond hidden in plain sight! Cashier and cooks are beyond friendly and you can tell by their passion attention to customers moods and needs. BEST EXPERIENCE FROM A BURGER JOINT! To boot? BREAKFAST IS BEING ADDED NEXT MONTH! Oh man!!!
