THEY’RE A SHAM!!! They took my $ through Living Social and never came through with the promised deal. To that, after leaving several messages on their supposed voicemail service, I still haven’t received a call back.
If you notice on their website, the DON’T offer a physical address and DON’T have a valid email address. The gmail account on their site bounced back as «doesn’t exist». DON’T TRUST THEM. THEY’RE SIMPLY THEIVES.

The owner of this car wash is lucky that i gave 1 pathetic star… had my car wash took ridiculously 15 insane minutes to bring d car into wash, maybe thats because, there is only one employee to receive, vacuum the car and to drive it in. Then when its time for wash, none of the brushes were functioning to clean the car which made my car just a mess with dirt. I confronted the owner and all he can tell me is we’ve been having problems with the brushes. No apologies, not try to offer to wash my car again. he’s so stupid trying to run this place. And at the end of the wash my car got off the ire tracks and hit, n swerve right at the gate. Damaging my front door passenger. Stupid owner did not want to own up to it saying this never happened before it might be your car. I had it fix, brought the receipt to the owner and wouldn’t pay me for the damage. What an inconvenience experience to be in this car wash I will never wish this on my worst enemy. Buyers beware buying this Groupon for Crystal car wash. It’s a high risk to bring your car to this business.

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NOT EVEN WASH YOUR CAR! I bought two full detail car washes from living social and could never get an appointment. I was playing phone tag for the first week and a year later I still can’t get an appointment. I have left message after message and even emailed to contact the owner and they wouldnt even return my calls or emails. This place is a joke and they are crooks. Not even worth one star. Buyer BEWARE!!!

GroupOn has them listed as a Long Beach location with a Unilocal 5 star rating and 5 reviews. I tried to contact them but their mobile phone listed on GroupOn and on the merchant’s website is disconnected.

I purchased their groupon special for a $ 59 full detail. I wish I read all of the online reviews beforehand.
Like everyone else, it took me a while to get a hold of them. I was finally able to leave a voicemail and later that day I got a call back and scheduled my appointment. The process was pretty easy.
I waited about a month for my appointment day. It was scheduled for noon. I never received a phone call. I waited for two hours. Calling them was useless because their number is OUT OF SERVICE. I lost hope of them showing up when I saw other people on Unilocal with the same experience.
I’m very disappointed and I’m in the process of trying to get a refund from Groupon.

AS OF 7÷25÷13 their phone is disconnected. Car Still not cleaned!
I purchased a Groupon for a full detail which was $ 59.
I called for a week straight and left several messages only for someone to call me a week and half later and tell me I had to wait over a month. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment.
Since I live in the OC and my city was not listed I had to leave my car at a friends house in Los Angeles. The day of my appointment a gentleman called me and listed at least 3 excuses why he couldnt make it. Since it was the day after the 4^th of July, I found that to be very suspicious.
Long story short, I am still waiting for the call back the gentlemen promised me on July 5^th, still waiting on a call back from someone at the business, and still waiting for my car to be detailed.
If you have time to waste on phone calls and months to wait for your car to be cleaned then go for it. Otherwise dont waste your time. You will pay for the cheapness with stress and lack of professionalism. NOT WORTH IT!

Too bad there isn’t a negative star system rating because this company would have plenty! The worst ever… DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY even on a Groupon. I have read several of the comments and only wish I’d come here first. It’s the same story for all and the worse part is they still continue to put Groupons or Living Social deals out there when they can’t even accommodate the response.
First off, my appts were scheduled earlier this year and this is June! I’ve heard the same stories about weather, no shows, even the so called problems with the advertising companies. The fact of the matter is THEY STILL KEEP ADVERTISING so it’s just a bunch a bull. No one EVER answers the phone, the voicemail box is always full so good luck with that, and the fact that we’ve had to rearrange our schedules and then have nothing in return is a joke! Bottom line is they have their money so what do they care.
Next stop… BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!

Waited a month to get an appointment. Then, no show, no call. I’ve left two messages (when the mailbox wasn’t full). No response and it’s been four days. Never again! There are too many other detailers who have better customer service.
I’m editing my review of Cristal’s as the owner called to reschedule an appointment. While they showed up late, they did call to let me know. They did a great job on my car and I was happy with their service. I still have reservations about using them again but if I do, I will make an appointment for early in the morning.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to approach writing this review. It’s been a long, frustrating road, but rather than give you every single detail about how this all played out, I’ll TRY to give you the Readers Digest condensed version.
I bought a Groupon for a full interior/​exterior car detail ($ 59 instead of $ 85) because my car has never had a full detail and was in need.
Like many people, I waited until a week before my groupon was to expire to call and book the appointment. Success! It was set for Sunday Feb 24 @ 11am.
Sunday, Feb 24, 10:30am, the phone rings: «One guy called in sick, we’ll be there at 4 pm.» (There was more conversation than that, but this is the condensed version, remember?) 4 PM comes and goes… nothing. I call the number that called me earlier, the guy answers, I ask «Are you going to make it today?» and I get «umm… let me call you back». Nothing the rest of the night. I call the main number and it goes to voicemail. The next day I call again and now the mailbox is full. Oh Joy. I call daily over the next week and it’s the same story, voicemail or full mailbox.
I finally get a call back and am rescheduled for Friday March 8^th, which is then postponed due to the possibility of rain «they’ll call you Monday to reschedule». Monday comes and goes, but you guessed it… nothing. I leave ANOTHER message and amazingly, get a call back the next day. I’m now scheduled for Sunday, March 17 @ 3pm… 4 WEEKS after the original date. I never thought scheduling a car detail would be this difficult.
When the very nice woman from their office called to schedule this last appointment, I asked why it’s been SO difficult to reach them. She explains they run a promotion through Groupon (or similar) each month and these companies don’t bother to tell them when they expire. It turns out (as she explained, anyway) 2 different promos from 2 different months expired on the same day, prompting a flood of calls and bookings. This is why (again, as she explained) the calls always go to voicemail. I am an understanding guy so I accepted her explanation and calm down a bit.
It’s now the day of truth and the detailers actually show up 45 minutes early. Nice! After explaining everything they’re going to do, the two guys quickly start working on my car. 1 hour 40 mins later they’re done and my car looks great inside and out!
Critiques — Exterior: when they «clayed» the car (removing dirt and impurities from the surface of the paint that doesn’t wash off) it wasn’t uniform, they missed a large area on the roof and the edges of nearly every other body panel. This shows me they were rushing through it. Interior: Aside from 2 of the windows having streaks, I had to readjust the steering wheel, both front seats, all the dash vents, the dash lights, the inside mirror and turn off the headlights once they finished. When I started the car to move it I ALSO had to turn off the wipers. Geeze!
OVERALL: Trying to get this mobile detail booked took a month, was majorly frustrating and I SHOULD give 1 star because of it. However, the end result while not perfect, is my car looked great and that’s the bottom line. So 2.5 stars rounded up it is. (hmm, so much for the Readers Digest condensed version… LOL)

At your own risk! First off, it is virtually impossible to contact them. They never answer their phone and goes directly to voice-​mail. Once I got thru (after countless tries), I had to wait one month for their next opening.
So…the day before, I tried to call them to confirm the appt… but, not surprisingly, I couldn’t get thru. The day comes (after having to leave work early to make the appt.), and they don’t show up during the 1 hour scheduled window. I tried calling them to find out what happened… and guess what… I couldn’t even leave a message on their voice-​mail because it was full. 1.5 hrs. later I receive a call and they informed me that the job before took a little longer than expected because their other guy injured his hand doing the job. So, they gave me the choice of rescheduling or wait another hour for them to get to my house. I told them I am going to wait by my door for them because there have already been too many inconveniences on their end.
They never showed up and I have never received a follow up call on their end. Since this was a groupon deal, I couldn’t even get a refund, but only credit for a future groupon deal… lesson learned.

I too used the 59.00 Living Social deal. I didnt have any of the problems most people are talking about. I was only in LB for a week (housesitting) so I wanted it done while I was here. I called and left a message, heard the machine tell me they were booked up until April. I left a message anyway and got a call back 2 days later (and the woman who called apologized for that). She was able to fit me in today (sunday) and the dude was actually an hour early. He finished my car in less than 2 hours. The only issue I had was he knocked off my blind spot mirror and there is still a tish of dog hair in some crevices, but other than that, no problems. My car is clean and shiny and he was able to remove something on the door that 10 other car washes couldnt get off.

Let me start off with saying that I DO NOT even want to give them a single star rating. They don’t even deserve that. I don’t think I’ve ever had such terrible service in my life.
IT’S A CAR WASH. How much easier can it get?!
I bought my coupon off Livingsocial for $ 59 for a full detail for my car back in October. Wait, how is it already March 1^st, 2013 — 5 months later — and the car is still dirty? My coupon was to expire on the 18^th of February, so obviously I kept trying to get a hold of them.
I finally got a hold of them sometime in the beginning of February, they scheduled an appointment for February 19^th, and they said they would still honor my coupon even though it was past expiration. Yay! I was happy. (Keyword: «was»)
It ended up raining that day. Great. They called me back and said they had to cancel and they will call me back that following Thursday. Did I receive a phone call? Nope!
They called me back on Monday saying that they have an appointment available for Friday. Okay! Yes! My car is finally going to be clean!
Set my alarm for 7a.m. to answer their call saying they’ll be here. 7a.m. passed. 8a.m. passed.
It’s now 9a.m., I’m sitting here typing a Unilocal review and demanding a full refund.
Called them 10 times and no answer. What are you possibly doing at your so called job that you can’t even answer the dang phone. Sucking a bunch of d*ck?
Well I left them a voice mail wondering why they, once again decided to cancel on me. Oh hey. I just got a phone call from the car wash saying that I misunderstood her and that the appointment is actually for Friday, March 8^th.
Umm, first, don’t lie to a customer. You don’t say to someone «Okay we’ll see you on Friday!» Friday comes, they don’t show up and second tell me that *I* misunderstood her and the appointment is actually for next Friday. She never once told me it was for the 8^th. Of course I’m going to assume it’s the upcoming Friday. What do you have to do to get some good service, or rather, ANY service around here? Have a pen*s to lure her in with? RUDE.
All I know is that my coupon is now expired. They stole my money and my time. I think this car wash is shady, I DON’T want them anywhere near my car. I want a full refund and I hope people on Unilocal read this and change their mind about dealing with this car wash.
I also hope this «business» reads this review and finally learns what good customer service is because they obviously don’t have a clue.

And my two month odyssey with Cristal’s comes to an end with a Groupon refund… Before I explain my 1 star, let me tell you that they NEVER answer their phone… You have to leave a voicemail, in which they tell you they may not call you back for up to 48 hours, and then God forbid you miss their return call because then it’ll be another couple days before you hear from them.
Ok, now to my story… I had an appt set for ²⁄₁ and when the guys got to my block, they called me to say they were stranded because the lug nuts on their truck came off. They didnt have a jack or any tools, so I personally jacked their truck and reset their wheel. I advised them that they needed to get the stripped wheel and bolts fixed ASAP and we should reschedule…
Well two weeks have passed and Cristal’s still hasn’t rescheduled my appointment. I’ve called about 5 times in this span and have only received two return calls, both of which I was unable to answer at that moment. You would think they’d show a little appreciation for what I did for their staff, but then again no good deed goes unpunished.
I guess they’ve sold too many Groupons to be able to offer decent customer service… It may be nice for their bottom line in he short run, but I cannot see it being a sustainable business model.

3^rd time using Cristal’s now, most recent was on 1÷23÷13. Carlos and his partner called and informed me they were running around 30 mins late, not a problem since they called to let me know.
As far as the detail, another great job with zero issues. Total time was a little over an hour. I got the full exterior/​interior detail.

I used their services off of a Living Social deal. There was a MAJOR faux pux initially, as I waited and waited the day of the appointment for no one to show up. The owner rectified the situation by personally rescheduling with me, and personally coming out to do the detail.
They arrived on time (lol, with donuts in hand). They took the allotted amount of time and did a good job. I think I was also expecting shampooing of the rugs, but a vacuum is what I got. No worries; I don’t have a filthy car. Two pet peeves that I noticed still weren’t attended to however, were the ashtray (still full of salt sprinkles) and the cup holder. The owner did state, upon leaving, that if i thought there was anything unsatisfactory, to please call them back out. I just didn’t wanna do it for something so minor. But I did feel that that should have been done in a detail.
So besides the first major slip, they were timely with positive attitudes and did a good job.

Used a Living Social certificate
I could have very well have been sort of mean and merely dolled out 4 stars for this business based on simple human error, but the situation was rectified with more than enough satisfaction.
The person on the phone was so extremely friendly and none of the people I spoke to at all showed any sort of attitude for me purchasing a Living Social special. They were all so very kind and treated me like I was a friend.
The human error I speak of is from whomever made my first appointment with me. I put the appointment in my calendar on my laptop (and my phone) so I wouldn’t forget, but nobody ever showed up. I called the next day and the person apologized sincerely and said that they did not have me down in their books, but would be more than happy to reschedule me and offered a complimentary carwash. I said thank you to the carwash, but I asked instead of the carwash if the company could please tip my detailer/​detailers to which they were more than happy to oblige. They’re so incredibly friendly over here.
The two guys that showed up to my house (from Long Beach mind you) were so nice and efficient. They both did their job so quickly and efficiently and had my car looking practically brand new by the time they were done of course detailing it inside and out. The main guy handling my car was so informative and let me know what I would need to do in order to have an even better job done and how much it would cost, which was still quite reasonable. He answered all my questions with not only a smile, but with sincerity and genuineness one can appreciate.
They did arrive during the hour window I was given, but I’ve read other reviewers who mentioned they came later than that window, so I might recommend having this service done when you are not pressed for time just to be safe. Believe me I know how nice and important it is to multi-​task, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
I can honestly say that I have no complaints with this company and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

I had issues with my first appointment (7am), where the detailer called at my appointment time to say they were being inspected/​audited by whatever agency they are regulated by and he would come by 1pm. He never showed up and the messages I left on their main phone line weren’t returned until 5pm. Very inconvenient as I waited around the house all day since I was lead to believe they’d still detail the car.
Rescheduling was easy, and 2 guys showed up ontime and got to work.
I did purchase the mini detail through Livingsocial which was $ 39, advertised as a $ 130 value.
The interior cleaning and window cleaning were awesome.
My major problem is that the detail was supposed to include a «clay bar treatment» which I was later told by the detailer is not the traditional clay bar but «clay towels» are used. I’m not familiar with clay towels but when I clay bar’d this same car years ago it took me like 3 hours and my arms were dead afterward.
Point being, post detail my car still had several spots of tree sap stuck on and the detailer said I would have to do color sanding to get it off. Doing a real clay bar treatment will remove sap (reference: Mother’s California Gold Clay Bar System website). Apparently these clay towels do not.
So, if you need an actual clay bar, don’t look to Cristal’s.
I still tipped on the $ 130 original price, but in no way was it worth that much. More reasonably this was a $ 75 job since they come to you.

I got this deal from groupon for $ 59 for their $ 130 package. And for their usual $ 130 I was expecting a really really good clean!
My bad review all started when they came about 30 mins late past the 1 hour window frame they gave me. I had to go to work and I was starting to get antsy. I left my brother with them to finish.
From what my brother tells me… they start «washing» my car without water and just wipe my car down. Idk what else goes on during the wash but I’m assuming they were in a rush cause I call back almost an hour later and my brother said they left a while ago. And I was surprised they cleaned it that fast.
When I got home I checked out my car… and I was not pleased for what I paid for. My bottom front bumper had dirt on it still so I don’t think they «washed» my car. My interior… my dash still had dust on it, and there were still dirt in the little crevices in my center console.
I was pretty upset that I wasted my money that I didn’t even bother to contact them to let them know they did a horrible job.

I bought the livingsocial deal. Got the $ 59 deal, which is the $ 130 detail package. Carlos and another person came to work on my car. Took them about an hour to finish. I paid an extra $ 20 to have them travel to my work in Costa Mesa (it’s out of their service area) and tipped them $ 40 in advance, since this place has such great reviews and it would have been an incentive to do a good job.
Carlos was very nice and professional. No issues with the staff.
As for the quality of the work, I’d say it was good, but I don’t feel it was worth the $ 130 that they normally charge for the package.
I recently purchased a CPO 2010 Lexus IS350 (2 – 3 weeks prior) and the thing was already clean. However, we all know dealerships don’t do usually get the minor details. When they sell the car, they give it a quick clean and off it goes to the customer. Dirt in small crevices, etc., usually go untouched. I was hoping the guys would catch these small areas. They did not. Specifically, the rubber molding between the driver-​side door and the body of the car was not wiped down. If it was, it wasn’t done very well. I looked at the area the next day, stuck my finger in mouth to get it moist and wiped the dirt stains off with my finger. Simple as that, but it was overlooked. For $ 130 detail package, you’d think they would have gotten this, considering there wasn’t much work needed to be done on the car to begin with.
Another issue: when I got home that day and got out of the car, I notice that water that had accumulated inside each of the side mirror housings seeped out, as I drove. This water wasn’t clean, so it didn’t just dry and disappear; it dried and left water streaks on the car.
Also, I was really hoping they’d be able to get rid of the swirl marks that were in the clear coat. However, doing some more research online, it seems that getting rid of swirl marks on a car’s clear coat, while entirely possible, is something that is a bit more labor-​intensive. An hour isn’t enough to get this done, so understand, but I feel a $ 130 detail package should have included this because a detailing package of this price usually includes several hours of labor.
Conclusion: Whereas many, if not all, other companies will require several hours to carry out a $ 130 detailing package, this company only gave me an hour of effort. I wouldn’t pay more than $ 60 for their $ 130 detailing package. A bit disappointing.

I saw a Groupon deal so I bought one for interior/​exterior and another one for exterior detailing. With the large number of people who purchased this on Groupon I knew I needed to be reasonable and patient to make the appts. I called and received 1 appt a week after I called and booked the second one 2 weeks later. They also had some deals for engine cleaning and headlight restore which I took for my 12 year old ride. Steve, Ivan and (sorry I forgot the last guys name) came out and did a great job with cleaning the inside (carpet had stains galore) and outside. My husband and I were really impressed with the results.
Pros: they come to your house
the prices beat the heck out of any local car wash
your car comes out sparking, clean and shiny
engine cleaing and headlight restore made a HUGE difference
the staff is professional and friendly
Cons: none (thats a rare one for me)
So we will be having Cristal’s come back out to keep our car’s all shiny and looking good.
