HORRIBLE! Waited for well over an hour for a pizza. Finally left after repeatedly inquiring about our order. The service was terrible. Don’t waste your time or money on this place!

Customer service at this place was horrible! It was almost comical. We stood in the middle of the place for what seemed like eternity waiting for someone to notice us as workers scurried past us seemingly oblivious to our presence. Knowing that they had recently been on Bar Rescue and being familiar with the show, hadn’t been there in awhile but figured the place would be decent. Shockingly, it couldn’t have been worse. Not only did it take forever to get noticed initially, but then after being sat at a table, we were practically ignored. There were more workers than customers but we still had to wait for a clean table. Since the pool tables weren’t available due to a party, we couldn’t even play pool while we waited for the UFC fights. Since we couldn’t play pool we thought we’d hook up to wifi and play a little Boom Beach on our phone. My favorite part though was when we told the waitress the wifi wasn’t working she said, «huh, that’s weird» and didn’t break her stride.

Came in and checked it out last night, great setup, very clean, excellent and attentive staff all around! If you’ve never been here, or by since the revamping I highly recommend simply trying it! What do you have to loose? Pool, whiskey bar, shuffleboard, famous pizza! Give them a shot

Ordered some pizzas, not terrible, but here is the complaint. DON’T BECHEAPONTHETOPPINGS. Add three more slices of pepperoni just for the hell of it. Charge an extra 50 cents. It won’t matter with the already bloated pricing. This is not the original Cirivellos. Not close.

Been there twice with Badfish Roller Derby as our after party for our bouts. Never had an issue with food, service or drinks. In fact the last time I went(5⁄28) the place looked amazing! Tried these BBQ fries(so good) and had a new castle. There was also the FlashPants preforming which was a nice way to end the night. Would go again even if my league isn’t having an after party here.

I went there tonight with my girlfriends after reading some of the reviews. The service was good. Jackie was our server and she was attentive and checking on us through out the night. The host was accommodating on seating us. The food was good, not the best but good. The place looks very clean and«spiffy» after the recent changes. The only thing I would recommend is to have the specials, drink menu and happy hour menus on the bar tables. Give it a chance. I am sure they are working out the«kinks» with all of the new changes. We did get to meet the new bar manager Kywan, and he acknowledged that they had some issue but he seemed ready to tackle them. It was his first day. I would go back.

We saw this place on Bar Rescue and decided to check it since we live so close. It was very enjoyable! We came on a Sunday night for dinner and sat in the bar area. There weren’t many people and the service was excellent. We had our food in under 15 mins and our waitress Anna was very attentive and helpful! I personally didn’t care for thr salsa so she brought me a side of pico de gallo and it was delicious! The only complaint I really have is the volume of the TV was pretty loud for a Sunday… We had a hard time hearing each other talk.

my hubby and I went there before they were featured on ‘bar rescue’ and it wasn’t as bad as they claimed. Wasn’t the best, just average for bar food. The service was good, they were very friendly and attentive. However, what’s most disturbing was when we were there we noticed an older lady and a younger guy who worked there all over one another. We just watched bar rescue tonite and it’s actually mother, Val and her son, Justin. If u watch the show u will see how they cling to one another And that’s nothing compared to what my husband and I saw when we dined there. Anyhow, very strange! If u want decent drinks and a quick bite I would recommend it. Nothing special tho

Will never go here again. Period. My husband and I went last weekend on a super random spur of the moment drive by. We live in the neighborhood and knew it had recently gotten redone by Bar Rescue so we decided to try it out. When we first sat down, our drinks got ordered and we waited about 10 – 15 minutes for the waitress to return to take our order. Mind you, there was maybe 2 other tables of people there. It was dead. She was walking back and forth past our table and I was wondering when she was going to come to us. Finally she looked at our table and had that face like«OMG I totally forgot about them!» I ordered a pizza, which was pretty good. My husband got the pastrami burger, which sounded amazing on the menu. The burger was a huge let down for my husband. He said the pastrami tasted like it was from a tub of sandwich meat that you buy at the grocery store. And the burger was covered in Thousand Island, which isn’t mentioned on the menu. My husband hates Thousand Island. :(Grrrr. After we received our food, I’m pretty sure she forgot we were there again. We never got drink refills and had to ask for our check. So we decided to try it one more time tonight, mainly because I was craving pizza again. When we got there, it was empty. Not one person. Several workers standing around. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza. That was it. As we are waiting, more people start to show up. 20 minutes after we ordered, a large party of 15 sat next to us. 45 minutes later the ENTIRE party got their food. We we still sitting there with nothing. We complained and our waiter said«the system crashed» and lost our order. Huh? He wrote it down! He said 5 more minutes. 5 minutes later a pizza comes out of the kitchen… ANDGETSDELIVEREDTOTHETABLEOF15NEXTTOUSWHOCLEARLYSHOWEDUPAFTERUS! A bit over an hour later we got our pizza. Really? An hour? Considering we were the first people there that evening?! Ridiculous. I should have stayed home with a frozen pizza that takes 16 minutes to bake. My bad. This place has been crossed off my list and will never revisit.

I thought this place was reworked by some company? Management /ownership failed terribly. Okay so let’s get this straight. This is a SPORTS bar correct? So my friends and I decided to go here to watch KOBEBRYANT’s LASTGAME as a LAKER. What does that automatically tell you? That the place is going to be SUPERPACKED. And what do you guys do? Have maybe one freaking girl on staff who was busting her a** to help everyone as much as possible. I don’t blame her I give her props. Unfortunately, she couldn’t do it alone. We ordered some REGULAR fries and we got them an hour and a half later. Whenever we wanted more beer, we had to remind you guys 10x times for it. We even went up to management for a reminder of fries, and instead the lady responded with«look behind you, can’t you see how many people we’re trying to serve?» Maybe instead of reworking the place, how about you fix your management. You guys make Long Beach /Lakewood look bad. It’s common sense when an iconic player like Kobe is playing his last game that EVERYONE will be at the SPORTS bar.

The remodel looks great, but my husband and I received the same, «not so great» service at the bar. We’ve been there for dinner with the kids and it’s always been very good. It just seems that when we go to the bar, we get ignored by the wait-staff. We went there this past Saturday and it took my husband at least 2 – 3 minutes to get the attention of a waitress, after another one walked right in front of him without saying a word. Didn’t even make eye contact or at least say she’d be right with him. We had one drink each, then left. I ordered a drink off the menu and the bartender had to take the menu with her, to make the drink. We went a month or so ago — just to the bar and watched one of the wait staff walk by us SEVERAL times, without saying a word, let alone take our drink order. We really enjoy the restaurant, they have great service and specials, just no luck at the bar — it’s just weird and not fun.

AVOID this place at all costs! Service was non existent. It took FOREVER to get our drinks. Not kidding you, 30 – 45 minutes for 2 margaritas. Which in fact, we had to send back! It was literally watered down tequila with a squeeze of lemon. One of them had salt around the rim, and the other one didn’t! We SENTTHEMBACK! So we order Midori Sours, waitress(Ariel?) said they can’t make them. We order a lemon drop instead… that took another 35 – 40 minutes and it was worse than the margarita!!! It was watered down LEMONADE, virtually NOALCOHOL! We sent it back and the waitress rolls her eyes, says nothing, and takes the drinks back again. Bartender needs to be replaced ASAP, how can you fuck up so many drinks?! Don’t even get me started on the overpriced«food». I hated giving my money to this business. Where’s Bar Rescue? They need to shut this place down. Booooo! Wish I could give it ZERO stars.

Came for drinks because I’d heard they’d redone the bar area. The Aging Room, est 2016 looks very similar to what the old bar looked like with the exception of a faux façade to make you think you’re entering a whiskey bar. They serve aged infused bourbons(no brand statement) but I’m an actual bourbon drinker so I took a pass on 12 yo apple cinnamon bourbon. The tender asked me what I was looking for because they didn’t have a menu… say what? You can’t try to portray yourself as a whiskey bar then try to sell me ‘Country Smooth’ bourbon which brags Eric Dickerson as an investor. I’ll admit I’m a bit of a bourbon snob in that I’m a bottle holder at Bar Jackalope in DTLA but there are some basics they can do to really make this a local whiskey destination. 1). Get a whiskey menu and make sure that there’s 10 – 15 decent choices in each category(bourbon, rye, scotch, etc). Right now the selection is so limited it’s embarrassing they try to pass as a whiskey bar 2) Get some good spheres or large cubes for cocktails/pours 3) Turn the attic area in to place you can sit and have a curated whiskey drinking experience. The tender didn’t even really know what bourbons they had… what are you looking for isn’t a good response when you start your options are more limited than what I have at home. 4) Offer more whiskey cocktails than an OF, Sour and Press. No Manhattan? High ball? Boulebardier? I’ll come be a consultant for you. People are drinking better beer and booze than at any other time in history. You’re making strides not to just make this a place to watch a UFC fights, but some additional refinement will go a long way. Ps: use luxardo cherries and just use an orange peel(not slice) if you want me to take your OF seriously. The drink was made fine, no need to give BS garnishes. The orange slice does nothing to help the aromatics.

I decided to give this local sports pub and grill a chance to take care of my group who needed to watch the PAC12 Network on their TV’s. I called on Thursday 2⁄11 and spoke with 3 people in the store who CONFIRMED that they get PAC12 Network on DISH Network. Confirmed! So my large group agreed to meet there on Friday at 5pm to watch. After getting moved from my first table to the DISH Network TV table, I was told that oops! we cancelled DISH Network and won’t be getting it until next week. I attempted to talk to the owner who refused to come out of his office in the back, but sent a lady out to sell me that no, I never talked to anyone the day before at their store, and especially not her. Well, trust me, and I showed her my phone with the time of the call — 7:38PM — to their number but she remain incredulous and made me appear to be a fool and took no responsibility for the failure with the standard, «You didn’t speak to me.» That’s great, and now, no matter how you try and spin it, that’s the way it happened. If you want lies and to be made to feel like an idiot, bring your group to Cirivello’s! You’ll never regret it!(So we missed the first half of the game, but went to Buffalo Wild Wings, an old reliable and they delivered the goods!) PS — Take a look at the«Notes from the Business» on the side of this page where is says — we get the PAC12 Network. You don’t, and you suck.

Visited Thursday nite, first time since the recent remodel. They did an excellent job. Love the new menu choices And the new signature drinks. Thank you for changing the size of your wine glasses. Nolan the bar manager was one of the most professional managers I’ve seen in a very long time. Always a smile, all over the bar helping everyone. He needs to train the other employees on how to properly wait on customers. The Thursday Blues show is awsome and draws a large crowd of happy and hungry customers. My only suggestions is two bartenders and two food server.

So I got a flat tire right outside of this place and waited for forever to get a tow truck. Being hungry I walked in to see if they had some food or drinks and I was suuuuuper surprised at what I found. I just moved here so I don’t know much about the area or the bar/restaurant, but I guess it was just featured on a show where they did intense renovations. Let me tell you – it’s gorgeous inside! Not that gorgeous is necessary for a sports bar, but it was like one of those fancy sports bar chains but with a warm vibe and zero riff raff. The staff were super nice and happy(so you know they like their job), and they were really attentive. The prices are awesome and the food tasty – I can’t wait to try the pizza! I also may host an event here as they have a huge room with a huge TV and vaulted ceilings – and can partition the room for private events. They made my flat tire issue go away in an instant! :D I’ll definitely be back!

This review is based on the Bar Rescue changes done last week. It applies only to the bar. First service by our regular server, Cadiie was great as usual. We also had a couple of staff check on us to be sure we had drinks ordered. We come only for the blues band on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on when they are scheduled. Me previous review was generally on the positive. The full menu was available in the bar. No more. And there in lies the reason for my negative review. The now have a bar menu with a more limited menu than in the restaurant. Now I watched Bar Rescue and know that bars that bars that serve food generally have limited menus because food is not a primary part of the business. But a major part of this place is the restaurant with a full kitchen. So having a bar menu and not allowing even the option to order from the full menu is stupidity at its ultimate. You can’t even fries as a stand alone in the bar. WTF? They also serve a ribeye at $ 22. Come on. Who comes to a bar and orders a prime cut steak? Food in the bar is expensive. $ 12 for 8 wings? And they aren’t that special. You are also limited to 5 pizzas. The restaurant menu allows for you to customize a pizza if you want by selling a cheese pizza and letting you select from a dozen ingredients at $ 1.50 each. Not in the bar! And the personal pizza isn’t a available either. They took out the raised stage so the band is on the floor. We were told that was so a portable bar could be moved in that spot when they are very busy. It coat me $ 35 for two cokes, a shot of Jack and a basic dinner salad. I used to pay that for wings, 2 cokes, 2 shots, a personal pizza, and fries. From now on I will return only when there is a band I really want to see, and I’ll eat elsewhere first.

You can’t even fries as a stand alone in the bar. WTF? The work done by Bar Rescue was minimal, especially compared to some of the ones on other makeovers. They painted the walls, put up some fake whiskey barrels, named it inside as the tasting room at Cirivello’s, redid the booth tables, took out the stage, and that was about it. The workmanship was shoddy. The remade table that we sat at had cheap wood with some splinters. There is a loft area as well as a pool table area. It doesn’t look like either of these were touched. And the bar itself seems to be unaltered. They also serve a rib-eye at $ 22. Come on. Who comes to a bar and orders a prime cut steak? And $ 13 for some mac and cheese. Yea, it has some bacon if you want that, and some jalapenos if you want that, but its still mac and cheese. Food in the bar is now expensive. $ 12 for 8 wings? And they aren’t that special. So the Kiwanis club I’m a member of was among a handful of clubs that got reassigned to another division. We were asked by the new division to host the monthly divisional council meeting(DCM) for December and we found this spot in the heart of the division lines using Unilocal! Cirivello’s is actually a pretty big location, though you couldn’t really tell from outside. It’s on a small street off of Carson Street, with street parking options(2 hr max) and a small lot off of Viking on the right of the bar. Never attempt to drive here using the 605 freeway in rush hour from SGV — it took me over an hour when it normally runs 35 minutes driving time. Not even the amusing TIE fighter(from the Star Wars overlay on Google apps) that track my progress on my Google Maps app could make the drive down fun when you see the GPS say you have 30 minutes left on your drive for 10 minutes! Oy! Going back to the size of the place, when you step in, you realize the layout is organized with various sections ideal for group gatherings. There’s an enclosed board room right by the entrance that’s great for group meetings that may need slightly less noise found in a bar. Unfortunately, our group couldn’t get that spot since it was taken already. There are also separately sectioned off areas(via railings and such) for things like birthday parties and frankly any type of party. Saw a couple of groups for birthday parties and little league sporting gatherings. We were not one of those groups using this space. Instead, if you head through the connecting door on the right, you’re in a large space where a live band plays in the evenings(more on that later) with a balcony area on the left. This mezzanine area is where we held our meeting. A bit more private since you have to walk up the stairs to the open area, but not entirely closed off to the space below, it was roomy for our gathering of 20ish people. We spent two hours up there from 6 – 8 pm, running our meeting and noshing on food and drink. We ordered several platters of food family style to share — some pizzas, nachos, fries, etc. — and people ordered drinks separately. While we chipped in for the food, I super appreciated Cirivello’s flexibility in providing a separate check for each person for their drinks so that we didn’t have to do some intensive math to figure out who owes what. Kudos to our server(didn’t catch her name! =/) for being mindful of our meeting but still getting our drink orders and keeping us imbibed. Food was on par for what you’d expect from a sports bar. The pizza did have one of the largest crusts I’ve seen on a pizza. Haha. Now, back to the band. So they have live bands that perform in the evenings. We were told that evening’s live entertainment would not start until 8 pm, so we thought we were good to go with a 6 — 8 pm meeting. However, the bar didn’t tell us about the band’s soundcheck, which started around 7:40 pm. Whoops. At that point, we really couldn’t hear ourselves so we had to cut the meeting short. If we had the enclosed board room by the entrance, the noise wouldn’t have been as bad. Not a bad option for a sports bar. Just a little ways out of where I’d normally be to come down here.

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place another shot plus it was right down the street and 45 minutes till happy hour ended. We sat at the bar and was greeted by a brunette bartender who handed us some menus. Ordered a round of drinks and decided to order the nachos & a salad as well. The bartender asked us if we wanted chicken on both nachos and salad and we said no. My salad came first; no complaints. Nachos came about one third into the salad and they looked delicious! Actual guacamole, real cheese and nacho cheese, and the beans weren’t on the bottom of the plate! My boyfriend grabbed the first chip and I was about to dig in when he motioned me to stop. «I think they put chilli… And it looks like there is meat in the chilli. Don’t eat it. Wait.» T_T really? We got the bartender’s attention and my boyfriend asked if it’s standard for the nachos to have chilli and she said yes… Which isn’t true. It’s an add on, says so on the menu. PLUS we’ve ordered nachos countless times. never has the beans been mixed in with chilli. He then asked if the chilli has meat and the bartender turned to a man sitting to our left and he shook his head, replying yes. Apparently the man is a cook there. My boyfriend then said, «Well we can’t eat this, she doesn’t eat meat.» The man took off, saying he’d let the kitchen know to make another one and the bartender apologized. 15 – 20 minutes later(and by this time I ordered another drink) the nachos came but this time with no chilli or beans. Whatever. Maybe they were out of refried beans. We didn’t ask. We asked for the check and was not surprised we still were charged for the nachos. It could have easily been deducted or maybe even given some free pints of beer considering we had to wait for a mistake caused by their staff. Chilli isn’t standard… And if it suddenly is, change the food menus. The bartender was nice. She did her job correctly and even said goodbye when we were leaving. I’d give her a 4.5÷5 for her service. Maybe I should just give up on ordering nachos at this place. Maybe this place altogether.

It was good while they had it and now the new owners are not doing so well with keeping it up. I went there for lunch the other day I had to send my food back twice and it still came out not how I wanted it and I ended up getting sick that night then I came to realization that now I know why such a huge place had only two people in it. The only good thing about this place is Thursday nights for the Cochino comedy show i do say go there for that but besides that I wouldn’t go

best deal is the pick 5 for 40. But the real reason why I would come back is our server Elsa. She was really great attention to details make sure our glasses stayed full continuously checked on us even tho the place was full she did a very good job. They have Guinness on tap. The only thing I can see wrong is the prices of the alcohol is pretty high but it’s worth it. I’ll be back next Sunday for the Cowboys.

I have been SO disappointed the last few times I have been here. There has been no consistency in the recipes. I wrote a really nice review previously, and went here at least twice a week. I don’t go at all anymore. A friend of mine keeps offering to take me back with discount/freebie coupons, and even that won’t bring me back. I wish the food would have stayed the same. I understand change happens, but the nachos have been COMPLETELY different on 5 separate occasions, what a bummer. I loved this place. =(

Very clean establishment, the team is polished to a perfection, they’re all hospitable and focused on the overall guests experience, and satisfaction of there clientele. Enjoyed the food, but most impprtantly the service.
