Despite the fact that make my way around East Africa and the world, I manage to get lost every time I come to Long Beach. No fault of Carol’s– the sign is clearly marked and indeed one drive down from Subway. I mostly live abroad but am in the area to help out family. I’m also wary of who I let cut my hair, as I need it to be cut so that I can use no product (as I often don’t have access to it). Carol gave me a quick lovely cut that lays well whether I brush it or not. And for about half the price I’ve paid for similar in New York. She and her colleague were fun to talk to, and they even often to come to the house if we needed to cut my sick mom’s hair which means a lot.

Carol is truly an artist. I am traveling through the Pacific NW and after 3 mo in a RV I needed my hair cut and highlights redone. I’m extremely particular but when you are traveling you get to compromise. However, this was no compromise. Carol was an expert in high and low lights and I got exactly the cut I wanted. I can recommend Carol to anyone who wants a terrific colorist and hair stylist. She could be in NYC or any major city and make it!
