Bouffant A Hair Parlor

First time at Bouffant after following my hairdresser Anna C here and felt right at home from the soothe your nerves music to the 50’s Palm Springs Mid Cent vibe. Oh and Anna is the best stylist everrrrr!

Long overdue review but better late than never right? Let me start by saying this is the cutest salon ever. The stylists are all so friendly and chatty, very welcoming –even– if you happen to randomly waltz in without an appointment because the place looks just too cute so you MUST go in. lol (yes that was exactly how my first time here went down) but you can’t blame me it IS right in my neighborhood, I had to! Anyway, Bouffant never disappoints! Oh yeah and there’s a bar next door ;)

Laura cut my daughter’s hair, and it was a really great experience for her first «real» haircut and style. She was super sweet and triple-​checked to ensure she was getting what she wanted. The cost was more than reasonable. The cut is fabulous, and my daughter loves her new look.
I actually have an intense fear of salons and hair stylists due to *many* bad experiences, but I really like this place. Enough to maybe possibly try it myself. Super chill vibe and all the people working there seemed really nice.

My hair might be the straightest hair known to man. And Josie may be the only stylist on this planet who knows how to make my hair work.
After decades of floundering around from one stylist to the next, I’m sticking with Josie and I’m so happy I found her! She’s «The One».
Bouffant is adorable, too. I love the mid century modern fun style of it. +++++

I loved loved loved my hair! It was the first time I’ve ever had the bayalage/​ombré look and Nakia did such an amazing job! Not only did my color come out gorgeous but she styled my hair just like I like it. I have pretty wavy, frizzy hair & it usually lays flat at the top. I walked out with shiny, voluminous, straight hair!

Nakia is awesome!!! I followed her here from a precious salon because she does such a great job with my hair. I like to have edgy haircuts, but she is always realistic with me and let’s me know when my ideas will work and when I would just make myself look goofy.
The salon is great. Everyone is friendly and they offer you drinks right when you walk in the door. The retro décor is fun and it’s a great place to hang out.

I used to be a hairy beast. Like bigfoot on crack. But Fuzzier.
Then I met Chelsea and she gave me a haircut.
I now am loved by all, celebrated and renown for my cool hair do.
She changed my life.

\Well, here goes my rant. I am extremely disappointed that they did not have the courtesy to call me back and inform me a certain stylists was either booked or not available. I had to call twice to request an update and status of my appointment and both times I was assured they would call me back… let’s just say they did not hold their end of the deal. :(I really hate to give this place 1 star because I am sure they provide great services BUT at the end of the day customer service is and should always be #1 priority.

5 Stars for Sasha (I think that’s her name). I came in wanting to purchase the Evo Pro Conditioner – essentially a conditioned that deposits customized pigments to protect your colored hair.
Sasha was so nice and helpful, I appreciated the fact that she mixed the conditioner to match my hair, verified the color with me, and added a bit more color to my specification after I suggested a darker tint.
When I paid, she said that if somehow the color was off when I used the product, I could come back and she would adjust accordingly.
Speaking from someone who has a hospitality background and worked in Las Vegas, I was impressed with her anticipation of any questions I may have had and general helpfulness. Will definitely return for more bottles! (Plus the pricing is reasonable… I’ve bought this bottle for $ 10 more with an incorrect tint).

I decided to get my hair done on a whim and was Unilocaling salons in my area. Bouffant popped up and it had great reviews, so I decided to try it. I didn’t have an appointment or anything, so I thought I was going to be waiting a long time, but to my surprise they were able to help me right away! Laura greeted me immediately and had me in a chair in seconds. She did an excellent job in both my cut and color. She makes sure she asks you what it is you’re looking for before she gives you any input. Customer service was excellent! Highly recommend this salon and Laura as your hairdresser.

I have been coming to Bouffant since they opened and LOVE this salon! Great services (color, cut, hi-​lites, eyebrows) EVERYTHING is amazing.

Was looking for a new hair salon and started a search on Unilocal.After reviewing many reviews and salons I decided to come in to Bouffant. As soon as I arrived one of the owners greeted me and sent Laura a text message since I had no appointment. Laura arrived shortly. Colored and cut my hair! Super sweet and nice! Will be back!!!
By the way the shop is amazing takes you back in time. Clean, professional atmosphere! Loved it!

I scheduled a haircut and color for Monday morning, but decided later that I would only like a haircut. So to be courteous, I called back and said make that appointment only a haircut. Well I don’t know what messages got crossed but when I showed up at 10 am on Monday, there was noone at the store or answering the phones. I waited 15 minutes to give them a chance. I still have not been contacted to reschedule.
I doubt I will go there and will not recommend to anyone I know.

Came here expecting the usual. You tell the stylist what you want, but they end up doing what’s «in» and what they want.
I was blown away. I’m half asian, and usually when you tell a hairdresser you want blonde hair, they always give me a yellow-​blonde. HELLO! I’m half asian! My skins ready yellow! I don’t want to look like a big yellow blob!
My hairdresser was Chelsea, and she did an AMAZING job. She was gentle, attentive and LISTENED. She gave me a ton of tips for maintaining healthy blonde hair and knew exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be a lifelong customer of Chelsea’s!

I randomly decided to get my haircut one afternoon. and luckily I was able to score a last minute walk-​in here! Laura did my hair, and she did an excellent job cutting and styling my hair. I was really pleased, especially since I had no clue on what to do. She had the best advice and was also very friendly and helpful to work with. Pricing was good too.
The outside of the salon is very unassuming, but when I went inside I was very surprised of how big this salon is! The décor has a very cute, vintage, hipster looking atmosphere: there are a bunch of stations, along with a nice seating area (complete with a coffee & tea bar). They also acquired a huge room in the back, with even more stations!
Everyone is pretty friendly here. I particularly liked how one stylist kept making sure I was okay while I waited for my assigned stylist to come to the salon. I really appreciated that, especially since I was not her client. Seeing that, you can tell this business really cares about their clients.
Overall, I had a really good experience here and I will come back whenever I need help with my hair, lol. Thanks!

Being blonde is a collaborative effort between a stylist and a client. Growing your hair out naturally and being artificially blonde can be a challenge. Margeaux, my hair stylist, has an art for keeping my hair healthy and reaching my desired length and golden colors. This salon even offers Olaplex if you want to keep your hair’s quality, yet push the limits with color or bleach. Highly recommend checking out this Salon. Adorable décor, adorable neighborhood, ample parking, and amazing people that work together there.

Hands down the best hair salon I have ever been to. My mother has always done my hair since I was a kid, and now that I’m older and she’s not at my fingertips I needed a new home for my hair. Daniel Gadberry accepted me as a walk in, and I am obsessed with my hair! He knew exactly what cut my wavy curly mess of hair needed and did a beautiful red color– exactly what I visioned. He was so animated and funny! Usually I’m pretty quiet but I just rambled on and on… I don’t have one bad thing to say about him or this salon.

It’s always hard and a little nerve racking trying to find a new hairdresser but I struck gold with Laura!
The first time I saw Laura I was getting 12″ cut off, which I donated. She gave me a great new cut & style & even gave me some tips for my fine hair.
The second time I went in for something shorter, and once again walked out with a great cut. I’m very happy to have found this salon as its close to home and I can’t wait to get my hair done again.

If you have curly hair go see Daniel Gadberry! For the first time ever, I had a major cut (6+ inches) and walked out feeling like I loved how it turned out! Curly hair can be so difficult to get a good balanced cut with and he was right on. The salon is super cute and chill, no hoity-​toity vibes, just cute atmosphere, great people and go see Daniel he is great ;-)
