These guys are great. The run a friendly shop, provide low pressure service, carry top notch audio gear and know their stuff.

Talked to Mike & Scott about repairing my Definitive Technology Tower Speaker, were both very knowledgeable and helpful, ordered the part and had it repaired the next day.

I am glad to know Steve of audio concept. Great deal, Great service and no pressure to buy. Steve will answer any question you have without pressuring you to buy anything. He gives great quote and great deal on the equipment. Steve will suggest the best equipment based on your needs and home setting not based on how much he can get out of you!!! I live 45 mins away but still come to him for any audio equipment and accessories.

Last week I purchased a Samsung UHDTV and two Integra receivers from Audio Concepts who installed the TV and one receiver (home theater type) and reprogrammed my universal type remote control. Larry the installer and James the sales rep were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable on their products. They both have considerable experience in this
business especially compared to the chain electronics stores. Also, the pricing on products at Audio Concepts was very competitive. I highly recommend this electronics store to anyone who is in need of electronics parts and/​or labor.

I drove about 35 miles to the store to pick up my new Paradigm Soundscape soundbar, met James who worked there and taking his time presenting various high-​end speaker systems for me to compare. I truly enjoy his professionalism very much. I unboxed the new speaker back at home and testing it briefly with Bluetooth via my phone, sound impressive so far!

This is not a review on audio products, I have never shopped here. This is a review on the AMAZING staff at Audio Concepts Long Beach! I was stranded with a flat tire in the parking lot AC shares, and roadside assistance was apparently on its way — but it had been over an hour! Here I am, hanging out in my car, 7 months pregnant and caring for a toddler, just waiting for this idiot from Long Beach Towing to come — who apparently couldn’t find me, so he moved on to another call! Nice.
Several people stopped by to ask if I needed anything, and a couple of those people happened to work at AC. After receiving the news that the assistance was dispatched for a second time, and the ETA was 30 – 45 mins, I was in tears. Lucky for me, «MIke» from AC came by and offered to change the tire for me. I took him up on it!
He was so friendly, and helpful. In fact, ANOTHER guy from AC stopped by to see if Mike needed anything and to ask if I was okay. These guys are class acts. Thank you, again, Mike, and the good people at Audio Concepts!
If I ever need audio products, I will be calling you first!

Just bought some high end audio equipment James was great inform me of everything. Got a real cool control4 remote that controls everything in my room including the lights. Installers are nice guys but they do take the time.

I haven’t had my home audio system working well for years and it’s been a constant source of irritation for me. I didn’t know who to call to help and didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money to fix our complicated system that did originally work. I called the store and spoke to James yesterday. He came right over and diagnosed the issues and sent us a bid last night. The technician arrived as scheduled today and did a beynd PHENOMENAL job! I am beyond PLEASED! Thank you so VERY much!

This place hands down is the «BEST» little audio video store in all of Long Beach. They sell some of the best top quality equipment for miles around. If you are in the need to have your A/​V gear installed, I wouldn’t hesitate with these guys. They are extremely professional, personal, and they pay attention to detail. Steve and James are great sales guys, and really know there stuff. The tech’s are all top notch guys, and do they know their stuff!!! We had them over to design us a full blown theater system, house audio, with a large Home Automation system. The install was tricky to meet our demands. Mike and Marcello did a fantastic job retrofitting the system in and building out our A/​V component racks. Larry did a fantastic job as usual with the lighting and automating it all onto our iPads and iPhones. Our system is so simple to use thanks to the Control4 and McIntosh equipment we have.
These guys wore booties and had drop cloths down everywhere. As they work, they clean up and vacuum it all up also. Very professional. Some of the work entailed modifying brackets and mounts to make it all work. Mike made it look easy with his mechanical abilities. Not to mention he had more power tools than you can shake a stick at. Larry dialed in our speakers and made it sound, look, and work perfect. In addition, Marcello got us all the WiFi we needed to all ends of the house.
Their prices were spot on the money for what we expected to spend for a custom high-​end system like we got. They spent countless hours to make it all look good and did not cut any corners. They even showed me the wires in the attic and how they were all strapped out of the way form other stuff in the attic.
The best news of all was there was no change orders or additional costs involved. We did have to wait a few weeks for them to start our project as they were wrapping up a few others they had going on. But it was well worth the wait. At the end of our job, we were able to sit down and have all our questions and concerns addressed. Which were very few. I know I said it once, but i’ll say it again… These guys are top notch. They are not a bunch of college kids like the geek squad, they are true professionals with passion for what they do in a industry that deserves them. They told me that each of the tech’s had 20+ years experience in the field and Steve the owner has been in the business for 40+ years.
These guys are a gem, and a dime a dozen. I will be recommending you to all our friends and associates who need Home Theatre equipment and Installation.

This place was really cool. The owner, Steve, was very helpful. He set me up with a «Sonos» audio system. I am in love! He took a lot of time explaining to me how it works.

Audio Concepts were able to fix an ongoing problem with our TV, they installed new equipment and TV and the installers really new their stuff!
However, we were disappointed when only after 1 week the new TV bracket (holding a large TV) broke and needs replacing or repairing. We also ordered a high quality 3D DVD player, then after it was installed we got a phone call to say… sorry, but the one they installed is not the one you ordered, we couldn’t get that one so we replaced it with a much cheaper one. Huh, and you decided not to tell us until after it was installed???

Steve W. gave me a quote for mounting a HD TV to go along with a Niles receiver that wasn’t even HD compatible! He advised me on getting a model that didn’t even have HDMI ports. He then stopped answering emails in a timely manner so we went with someone (PRO TV Mount) else who did everything Steve W. and audio concepts promised and MORE for less than HALF his quoted price. Highly dubious knowledge and customer service.

A great audio video store. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I came in for a new needle for my turntable, they had just what I was looking for and they spent time explaining how to set it up properly so I would get the best result. Mike and Steve are very helpful! I will come back again when I need some more help with my AV systemj
