came in here while my mom was shopping & the lady behind the counter was very friendly! :) we had to run back to the 99cent store to ask my mom for cash since they don’t take cards. but we basically wanted only 3 donuts but she gave us 6(: lol totally made my day.

Donuts are fresh. Service is friendly. I always buy a dozen and while most donut shops will give a free donut for a dozen, this place does not :(. Unfortunately, like all the other donut shops, they only accept cash.

Just whatever. Doughnuts are different sizes on different days, why? Who knows. Chocolate and Maple seems watered down… service is always friendly though!

The donuts and service here is good. I can’t vouch for anything else. The End.

I liked them better with their previous owners. Their doughnuts taste good, but the service leaves something to be desired.

I was in the mood to find milk tea boba. I Unilocaled it and found Allison’s. I called and a really nice guy answered the phone but they were closing(7pm) so I planned to try it the next day. :Tink: Next day: While I was looking at the selection board, I noticed there was no price, so I asked. Milk tea boba price $ 3.75. $ 3.75! Really? Lee’s is $ 2.25 Dolphin Bay is @$ 1.25 Make it at home = 0.401 cups rice milk, 0.18 for tea bag, 0.05 for sugar and ice cubes, and boba(I still have to try making it but I found it at a market next to Goldilocks on Gridley Rd.)($ 1) Ya, I couldn’t see paying almost four dollars for milk tea boba so I went on with my day. I’m in the best city ever for finding bubble tea and I’m still on the prowl. :meow:

Me and my neice were sittin around on a saturday morning and we both said a croisant sounded like a good idea. Since this place is around the corner and we pass by everyday, why not try this place? We walked in and were immediatly greated by the most pleasant lady ever. It was one of those greetings that makes your day. It put us both in a better moode. The sandwiches we ordered were made to order. They were very good. Hit the spot. She even kicked in a free donut. Now with service like that how can you not frequent this place. We will definately be comming back next time we wake up early on a saturday morning.

Came here on a whim. A friend of mine said they have boba and wanted to try. Friend got the carrot juice which really tasted like fresh juiced carrots. I got the vanilla boba. Boba is good but the drink itself was more like drinking milk. It was more watery than a milk shake but not pure liquid. We got some scratch tickets too. Spent $ 12 on the tickets and drinks and won $ 9 back from the tickets. Almost like buying 1 drink and getting the other one free. Maybe I’ll return for another flavor boba. Who knows.

I grew up on Winchell’s Donuts and remember when a crumb donut was more than a glazed with crap all over it. Allison’s Donuts has been around for over a decade and is one of the few donut shops that does it right. The cinnamon rolls are flaky(is that actual cinnamon I taste?), the chocolate bars are incredible and the crumb donuts have some depth of flavor. I can’t think of another donut shop that I would give five stars to. Unfortunately most don’t seem to understand the first thing about baking or frosting. Allison’s is a throw back, it almost makes me forget that there aren’t any Winchell’s Donut shops around anymore.
