They have a great men’s selection but almost NOTHING for women. So disappointing. Definitely the weakest Active I’ve ever been to. Not sure how they’re in business still.

I came in on January 4th looking for a specific pair of shoes and was helped by Adrian and Bryan, who were both really great.
They had the shoes I wanted in my size, but not the shoes my girlfriend wanted in her size. Adrian was more than happy to pull the same style shoe in different colorways and sizes for her to try on and figure out her size and what she liked. Once she figured it out, Bryan looked in the system for a pair in her size to be shipped into the store and picked up. Adrian wasn’t in the store when I picked it up 2 days later, but Bryan was.
They were both very knowledgable about the shoes and I appreciate both their help. This store is the closest store to me and I always get great customer service when I’m here; Adrian and Bryan were the highlights of my latest visits. Thanks guys!

Usually go to this store and I spend a lot of money here. This is down the street from my workplace so I go get some clothes before sometimes. I know some of the workers as well but HORRIBLE management!

Noticed this place en route to lunch. I popped in to check out their Converse Chucks. There were four employees on duty and not a single one of them offered to help me. Okay. I encountered a large display fixture blocking the aisle to the shoes, its cord unfurled. Can anybody say «safety hazard» or «liability»? Whatever. I skirted it and made it to the Chucks only to find a pitiful selection. Just the basics: black, navy, and white. Oooo-​kay. I started to ask if they had any other colors only to see that all the clerks going into the backroom. I went to Tilly’s instead.

I just left here and I always get the best deals. I must say that the two guys that helped me out tonight were by far the best workers/​customer service guys I have ever came across. If I owned a store I would of hired them in a heart beat. Thanks Aldo and Brian for helping me pick out some cool stuff for my son! Keep up the good work and maybe you both will get a raise! I saw how you both helped out a lot of other customers and you did a great job

First off they are getting 2 stars for Kevin’s great service. He went above and beyond to help us. The same couldn’t be said for a female employee who seemed to just follow us around the whole store asking over and over if we needed help. She was so annoying and rude that she caused my wife to put some hats back due to her annoyance, it was as if we were going to steal something. We could t even have items on us for a minute because she would come ask us if we wanted to try them on or have them hold them up in the register ughh please you’ve been following us around so much that it should know I literally just grabbed this item. At the end of the day we ended up just giving most of our things to her and saying put them back since you clearly think we’re going to steal them. A big f u to her.

Customer service is horrible. The kids they hire would rather all stand around the cashier stand talking then to offer customer assistance to people looking to buy things. Walked in to buy two pairs of shoes. Walked out with nothing because customer service is so poor. Customer service should be a top priority of you are a brick and mortar store.

The staff here are awesome. They made me feel welcomed without following me everywhere and making me feel uncomfortable. There was a particular t-​shirt that I came in for and an employee was able to find it there. I was so glad because the other stores I checked with didn’t have it.
The store is clean and relatively neat.
I like that they gave me an Active Ride card. This wasn’t the first time I shopped at an Active Ride Shop so I was a little disappointed when I realized I didn’t get one at the Brea store. Well I’m glad they gave me one.

I was pretty bummed out about there return policy. They don’t refund anything only exchange with receipt. I bought a pair of shoes they didn’t feel right so I went back (2hrs later with a receipt) they couldn’t get me a refund because its not there policy. I will never go back.

greedy company, all they want to do is make money and doesnt care about the consumer. both two shirts with a 10 dollar coupon. Went back the next day to return. Found out they only have a exchange policy. Did not like that. Found 2 different shirt that ended up costing more, but they did not allow the 10 dollar coupon to be transfered. Saying its a one time use coupon. I spend more money and they still dont let me transfer the 10 dollar coupon. Dont shop here, they have bad business practices. They are very expensive too, Why not go somewhere else that is the same price or cheaper and you can actually return stuff. ONE day, ONE day. not like im some punk kid buying clothes wearing it weeks and returning it. HORRIBLE

I like this Active, it’s one of the bigger ones I’ve been to. The people that work there are all pretty laid back and friendly. The merchandise is the same as in any other Active store, what I did notice is that they do have a slightly larger selection for the females as opposed they one back in my hometown… Escondido (yes the name correlates with its location).
Only complaint is the location, there really ain’t any other stores in this shopping center that caters to my style, well the Tilly’s is the only other store in this shopping center that is anything similar to Active. But I guess it’s chill though.
P. S. I like the fact that every time I go there it’s empty.

We come here often because they have all the brands my son loves from LRG to OBEY. Yes it is a bit pricey but he is so hard to shop for so I’m willing to pay a lil extra to make him happy! Sign up for their lil membership thingy and get their coupons they come in handy!
The sales people are always friendly and helpful. Check em out!

Terrible service, return policy, and appearel products! My 15 year old son wanted some trendy jeans and suggested we go to Active where we purchased a pricey pair of their store brand jeans. After the first washing they shrunk so badly he couldn’t wear them. When we tried to exchange them with the reciept for another pair, the young salesman was not only rude but suggested that I’d probably washed them wrong (I’ve been doing laundry since before he was born). I can only guess that the cheap quality of these over priced jeans were to blame for the severe shrinkage. Not only does Active’s return/​exchange policy stink, but they need to better train their employees in customer relations. We will NEVER shop there again and I suggest you all use great caution when purchasing their line of clothing!
