I’ve been in Oklahoma about 6 months and this is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen here. I’ve never really been climbing before and this place offered the perfect beginners trail. I haven’t been to the«beach» side yet but the rocks were awesome.

This is a nice park to visit to get a change of scenery in SW Oklahoma. They have paved trails, gravel trails, and dirt trails that can be hiked and a few can be biked. The trails do offer some unique opportunities and fun for all ages. The is a couple caves that can be found, a lot of boulder climbing, easy trails for younger kids, and more difficult trail for experienced hikers. There is also rock climbing right next to the Nature Park at Baldy Point. The Nature Park also has campgrounds and cabins for rent(the cabin are outrageously priced) that are close to the lake. Definitely worth the drive if you are in the Altus area.
