Sadly, this store closed, leaving an empty store for many years before it was leased by one of those god-​awful dollar stores. I mean, certainly it’s not practical for Vons to have two locations in this town, but I certainly wish there was a decent grocery store on the south side of town. I guess, since Lompoc isn’t all that big that you can’t really complain about driving a little farther up H street. Even though Lompoc is small, some times of day there is enough traffic to be annoyed.
