This review is based on customer service since no work was done. The work here seems to be above average but the customer service sucks. I would rather drive to LA than go to a shop where they make you feel like there are doing you a favor. There was no one in the shop the day we walked in. I was beginning to wonderful if we had somehow been cloaked in invisibility when a sullen girl finally approached and asked what we wanted. I guess if you are of the middle aged set that you just don’t get the same service as the hot young crowd. Too bad. We went and spent our money elsewhere.

Very disappointed thought I was getting an artist my sunflower looks like it was drawn by a child and it was supposed to be a memorial, but he couldn’t waste his time with a name with only 4 letters wouldn’t sent anyone there or be a repeat customer, but they sure had fun talking to each other instead of paying attention to a customer.

Doren is amazing. This is the place to get your work done. Clean and professional. Friendly staff. You will not be disappointed. They make you feel comfortable and are fun and welcoming. Worth the travel and locals… make this your shop. I won’t go anywhere else!

Amazing! Doren does a phenomenal job and is by far the best around. He and the others who work in the shop are so friendly and polite. His pricing is competitive for his level of expertise and experience. I appreciate his opinion on tattoo ideas and his creativity to take a simple idea you may have for a tattoo and make it into something stunning. Compared to other shops in the area Lost Kings is definitely the most professional. He keeps appointment times, always has everything prepared for your appointment before you’ve arrived, and he and his team go above and beyond to ensure your comfort during the tattoo process. In regards to the«walk in appt» guy in a previous review, why in the heck would you expect someone to stop in the middle of a tattoo appointment to sketch something for you? That is rude and would be poor customer service to the person who more than likely DID have an appointment. Just plan better next time and don’t be rude.

Some years ago, I walked into this shop looking to get a custom piece involving rope on my forearm. The guy I talked to said he couldn’t do it. Drawing a piece of rope with proper shading certainly isn’t the easiest bit of work, but the fact that the guy wasn’t even willing to try was very discouraging, and I will never go back there. I got it done in Santa Maria instead and am very happy with it. I don’t know how much this had to do with my experience, but there is a rumor around Lompoc that this place is very much a social club, and if you aren’t a chick or with a chick who knows them you won’t get in.

They do AMAZING work. However, their customer service sucks. They’re usually not very welcoming unless you know them and are buddies. I would reccommend them if you want quality work done.

I came here recently to get my lip pierced. As soon as I walked into the shop, I was instantly comfortable. The piercer, Sam, was a very pleasant guy. He was professional and talked me through everything he was doing until he was comlpetely finished with the piercing. It was quite painless, not really intimidating at all, and fairly quick! :o) After the piercing, another guy explained the aftercare to me. Don’t remember his name, but he was very nice as well… extremely informative. I would definitely come back to this place if I wanted to get another piercing.

I got my tongue pierced there about 2 years ago. The employee(not sure of his name) was friendly, informative, and I think used to be an EMT. I was able to easily get in on a walk-in basis and feel like I was well taken care of.
