If I could rate this company zero stars, I would. Every aspect of our move was unsatisfactory. We were talked into full replacement coverage insurance. LV&S didn’t pay us a penny and strung us along for months. Many of our possessions were missing, damaged, crushed, scratched, dented, shattered, and soiled. The estimator’s assurance of a satisfactory moving experience was totally the opposite of what really happened. The loaders and the unloaders were reckless and unprofessional. They have you fill out a satisfaction survey right in front of them. How can you truly rate their service when three big sweaty imposing guys are watching you fill out every line of rating their service, United Van Lines finally payed us for our claim. I’ve used UVL before, and they are a reputable company. But I would never use Lompoc Van and Storage again. Be warned! Take your business elsewhere!
