Just came to the Lompoc restaurant for the first time. I had the all you can eat fish and chips. Saw our server once. had to ask other server for everything. Turns out it was her first night. she was great. Our first and last time. My wife and I dine out very often and this was by far the worst service we have ever experienced. Have to say the couple pieces of fish I had were pretty good.

We wanted a diner breakfast and they provided. I had the eggs, hamburger and hashbrowns and my bf had eggs and corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy. Our waitress was really nice and our food was served quickly even though they were busy.

Had a great great breakfast. Her meal came before mine, but just a short while because, the waitress was nice enough to let me know that my eggs were not quite basted well, so she said my eggs and breakfast would be out in a minute. It was out in less than two minutes and the eggs were perfect to great breakfast

Had breakfast at lunch time. For a local café, average of 3 stars is unfair. The eggs were cooked exactly how I like them. Pancake was good. Bacon was nice and crispy. No cream for the coffee but she brought me whole milk. That works. The service, very friendly and fast. This is not an expensive top of the line restaurant but that is not what they are going for. I’d eat here again. Just didn’t care for the coffee otherwise I would have said 5 stars.

This place makes decent eggs. The waffles were nothing to write home about. They didn’t have real creamer, only non-dairy or milk. Pretty ‘meh’ experience overall, but it’s open early so that’s a nice plus.

Food, and service, are mediocre. Seems like its gone downhill over the hills. Do not recommend.

This is a casual restaurant with good prices for the food. The waitresses weren’t friendly but not rude, their service was good.

The most horribly disgusting, dirty plave I’ve been in years. Food was poor and service was slow. My wife had to wait five minutes longer than the rest of the party just for a sandwich. Won’t be back.

Ok food, affordable prices. This place looks like it could use some fixing up. Our server was polite but I also felt rushed to order because she couldn’t come back to get my order for some reason? I don’t think I would return because I’m a much bigger fan of the other breakfast options in town.

Wow, you people got served. I am impressed. I ate ok food several years ago. Went 2 other times, waited over 35 minutes seated when I must have turned into the invisible man. Never an idea of getting food.

My girlfriend wanted breakfast for lunch so we came here and weren’t disappointed. She got a omelet and I got a rueben sandwich. Very prompt service and good food. Our waitress was very attentive and provided us with great service. If your looking for a mom and pop style place to eat this is the spot.

It’s ok place to grab a bite. Local hang out. Cheap with friendly server. Tastes alright but nothing exciting. Friday they have all you can eat fish and chip for $ 8.99. Not a bad deal. It comes with a clam chowder that was actually good. The chowder has light curry flavor to it. And the clams were good. Fish is very lightly battered and comes with tartare sauce and vinegars. The place could use a make over. Carpet was ripped in places. Booths and tables felt tired and worn out. But that probably won’t change.

I really enjoyed this little mom and pop restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was good during our visit. The place is clean and we definitely will be returning.

This place is great. Truly A+++. Food was delicious and quick. Trip Tip Steak was cooked perfectly and to how I like it. Eggs were cooked perfectly and potatoes were nice and buttery. If you are driving Lompoc, CA this is the place to stop for breakfast.

We are always looking for the hole in the walls… and this was definitely it. Completely concur with everyone’s review of slow service. They were quick with the coffee, but not so much with the food. In looking around, the demographic of the regulars seem to point to the fact that they are really not in a hurry. Most of the people there were content with just lounging around and enjoying a Saturday breakfast. We were a bit in a hurry so the slow service was not conducive to our schedule. However once we got the food it was excellent. The portions were huge and very hearty. You probably would have gotten two meals out of each serving. I went for the Linguica and Eggs and it was very good. I may pass the next time if I am in a hurry, but if I am looking for a place to just sit and chill and let the time pass, this is an excellent choice.

I came here the other night with my family. Although the all-you-can-eat fish and chips was on par with what one would expect of fried fish(snapper) and fries, those of us who ordered something else were left quite disappointed. My brother had a burger and was very underwhelmed. I ordered the halibut and was quite disappointed that the tastiest item on my plate was the seasoned vegetables as the halibut was dry, overcooked, and not fresh; the clam chowder seemed a bit off as well. The waitress was good, very polite and respectful, but also slow in getting around to things like refilling water(sometimes seemingly forgot). I’m not sure it was entirely her fault as I do not think she was a regular full-time and the restaurant was understaffed. Normally I would be more forgiving as sometimes there is a sudden influx of customers, but this was during a time they were clearly anticipating more customers by advertising the all-you-can-eat special. I’ve never written a two-star review, but with so many options around(e.g. Alfie’s Fish & Chips, Eddie’s Grill, etc.) with similar but better food, atmosphere, and service for the same or lower price, I just can’t justify a third.

Great breakfast food. Haven’t sampled the lunch or dinner menu yet. The staff is helpful and courteous, also the biscuits and gravy are quite literally the best I’ve ever had.

We have had the Friday Fish & Chips special three times now and have been very satisfied with the dining room(spotless clean tablecloth) service, food and prices. The clam chowder I had and the salad my wife ordered were good, the deep fried cod was excellent, the fries were hot and crisp and the coleslaw was just fine. The waitress was attentive and offered more fish but there was so much on the original order we declined. We will be back.

I totally dig this place. Old architecture, good food, nice waitress — but can also see where people could give it some shady reviews based on the cleanliness. It was ok the day we were dined. The paint probably needs some touching up and the carpets can use a re-vamp, but not dirty. I wasn’t a fan of the pancakes though — the batter had an odd flavor and I told the waitress this too. She wasn’t aware, but I told her to check out Unilocal reviews and she said she would do that too — I like this place, would love to see them get better on the ratings scale. Not enough of these mom and pop type places left anymore.
