This lady loves her Pinot’s. I loved her 2011 Pinot… it was delicous!

We had no plans to stop in here when we visited the wine ghetto. My husband and I were walking by and hear «Hello!» from inside. So I said, «Hello!» And we decided to stop in. I absolutely adored the winemaker, Kim! Her story is amazing and her enthusiasm is just so refreshing. She absolutely loves what she does and is incredibly fun to talk with.
Her wine is top notch! I recommend this place as a MUST STOP if you’re in the ghetto or driving through. You won’t be sorry! We left with six bottles and can’t wait to go back for more. I’m not a fan of white wine but my husband and I were both so impressed with her whites that we bought a bottle, which I’ve only ever done once before at a winery. This was our favorite stop of the day, hands down!

Tasted at the Sta. Rita Hills table at Wine Symposium in Sacramento and was very impressed by the Pinot Kimberly was pouring. Will definitely visit this summer during my yearly visit to Santa Barbara area.

Fabulous host, great craftsmanship, and some really nice Pinot Noir. I felt like I had been invited to a really intimate party where the conversation is fascinating and I walked out a little tipsier and with a giant smile on my face. Make this new tasting room a must stop on your next visit to the Lompoc Wine Ghetto. Highly recommended!

I am a pinot lover so took great delight in trying Kimberly’s wines. Very tasty. Also, she is so enthusiastic and excited about her wines it definitely made the tasting more fun that the usual pourings where you are viewed as just another potential transaction. I highly recommend a visit!

I LOVE THIS WINE. I also love the wine maker. The wine is delicious. Especially the pinot. One sip leaves you wanting another. I highly recommend this wine. For a good time and for fantastic wine go visit Kimberly in the Wine Ghetto. You will not be sorry.

Infecious enthusiasm from this inexperienced wine maker. She makes you want to love her wine with her effusive positive attitude. Alas, we did not like the wines. Pedestrian, non-​memorable. I wisher her the best and would try again in a year or two if she is still in business. The bottle we brought home was not good and we poured it out.
Well, I was referring to the wines when I wrote pedestrian, etc. That was not a description of you, for sure. I purchased a bottle from your TR as a courtesy since you provided us with a taste of your wines. I often do that. I think it good manors. And you are certainly correct about us all having different pallets. Now about the I LOVE WHAT I AM DOING part, that is awesome. That does not mean I have to like your wine.

You must visit LaMontagne! Kimberly Smith is the most promising winemaker to join the Wine Ghetto. I love boutique wineries. This is sexy wine!
