This new tasting room is a great addition to the Wine Ghetto in Lompoc and a refreshing departure from the Pinot/​Chard/​Syrah parade. Joseph Blair is a second label for Jalama winemaker and owner Mark Cargasacchi and the wines are stellar. The Ghetto White Chenin Blanc is crisp and dry while the Gewürztraminer is mouthwatering and refreshing. The Heartbreak Pinot is spicy and rich but is a bit young still, while the two Bordeaux blends are great finds for any Cab drinker. Clinton and Mark are enthusiastic and passionate about their wines and the quality shows in these limited production gems.
