Box Shop

There is a guy there about 50, with gray hair, who is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with at any UPS store. In fact, all my dealings with UPS stores have been very professional. This man was literally making up prices off the top of his head that did not even include tax. he’d just shout out 5 bucks! 20 bucks! etc. I had an issue with my shipping label so he let me use his internet, saying it would cost $ 1 to print my label. That was fine. I got the label printed and then went to ship my box. My package was extremely important, of high value. I explained that there were special instructions for packing. he shot back that he’d been shipping for 25 years and didn’t need any special instructions. Hmmm. I explained in fact, that there were instructions required here. I asked him to do a box in box. And place an inner label on the inner box. So he slapped the label on the ITEM, and I said, no, not like that. And it went on like this. Finally, he looked up at the ceiling, where I guess he kept his list of made up prices. «20 bucks!» And he started to take my item away. I said wait, I need to SEE you pack it, please, it’s very important. He says, «If you watch, its 25 bucks!» He had the attitude like HE was in charge, and YOU were a dummy who needed his rare genius to get things done. He had the sense of humor of your grandmother’s third ex husband. Not amusing or even slightly funny, but you have to crack a fake smile just to get through the pain of dealing with him. I was trying to get business done. It had already been a long day as I’m sure all days are with this guy. Anyway, I took my package and said, no, I’m outta here. He follows me out and says, «You owe me a dollar for the print out.»
I drove 20 miles to the nearest UPS store and they did it in 2 minutes for 8 bucks. Seriously. Avoid this location like food poisoning.

The guy that works there has the worst customer service and this is one of those places where they ask for your phone number before doing anything for you.
If you want to overpay and get lousy customer service than this place is for you.

All in all, pretty nice and accommodating. They even open on Sundays as it gets closer to Christmas — just to meet your shipping needs. They have a notary on staff who, while she’s not the fastest, is 100% ethical from what I know. Her fee is quite reasonable at just $ 10. Call ahead for her hours if you need docs notarized.
They didn’t always clean up after their dog in the parking lot and I stepped in her dookie — which I wasn’t happy about. I grew up with dogs and I think it’s important to clean up after them. If you can’t, you ought to leave them at home. I feel guilty for still being upset about it since their dog has passed away and they have posters of the dog in the store and clings on the windows. I feel sorry for them now. I’m still dropping them 1 star for that experience — especially since they made excuses for not cleaning up.

This place is nothing more that a drop off location for FEDEX. They cannot do anything more than that. I took a package in to have it shipped to XBOX for repair. They could not print the shipping label to ship it. They stated that I had to print it and affix it to the box. XBOX advised me that FEDEX locations do this for them. I guess they are not properly trained. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
