The Learning Tree Preschool

This was the second preschool I toured with my son. After we saw this, I ended my search. My son was immediately comfortable here and wanted to stay and play more. The director was warm and cheerful and made me feel extremely comfortable in my decision to enroll my son that day! My son had gotten kicked out of daycare when he was younger for being «too needy» so I was admittedly nervous about this transition. But his teachers, Miss Ruth, Miss Johnson, and all the aides are so compassionate. They would hold him when he cried and remind him as many times as he needed that «mommies and daddies come back». He did so well with half days that we decided to do full days. He had trouble getting used to taking naps here. Again, the teachers showed patience and experience in working with him to get him comfortable. My son is only 2 and a half so the purpose of him being in the preschool tots is to get used to the structure and flow of a preschool day. We look forward to coming back next fall in the preschool program and many more happy days at The Learning Tree!

We have sent our 2 children here as well as the fact our friends’ children all have attended this school. Balance is hard to come by in preschools these days and parents are worried about whether or not teachers will care about your kids, whether they will hug them if they cry for mommy or daddy, whether they will make friends, whether they’ll have time to play and whether they’ll learn enough to succeed in Kindergarten. Well, your child gets all of the above at this school. The staff– beginning with the principal/​director to all of the teachers are caring, responsive and knowledgable about teaching your child all the complex important things that we need in life– sharing, abc, painting. Both of my children have left the school reading and completely ready for kinder. I miss this school dearly but I always wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone needing a quality preschool.

We absolutely love The Learning Tree! The teachers and staff are outstanding. I felt that they all genuinely cared for my son. He loved his stay here (he is now in Kindergarten). He is doing very well in his class and is very well-​adjusted and I give a lot of the credit to his experience at this preschool. They have a lot of exciting activities here that keep the kids engaged. They feel like they’re just playing but actually learning a lot!
The whole place is clean and well-​maintained. Their classrooms and playground are awesome. They are in a safe and quiet location and they have ample parking. The prices are very reasonable too!
Over all, I highly recommend this preschool. I felt confident leaving my son here because I knew that he was always safe and always learning! My youngest couldn’t wait to go to school here!

We LOVE this preschool! Everyone from the office to the teachers are nothing short of amazing. So loving, caring and kind. A huge difference from the place our children attended prior to starting here. We wish we had found this place first!
The daily structure they have the kids follow is great and the kids love it. Art, music, phonics, reading, language, dance, playtime, etc. The art the kids come home with is also way too cute!
My son graduated from their Pre-​K program in June of 2014 and our daughter still goes here for preschool. I recommend this school to all of my friends, co-​workers, etc. That’s how much confidence I have in them and their abilities.
We will truly be sad when it will be my daughter’s turn to graduate (luckily that is still a little ways off). Thank you for becoming parent of our family Learning Tree!
