Edit to my prior review, I’m never returning to this place again. Not only is this place constantly full of homeless people, drunks and Meth heads; the staff just seem to let them wander about and bother the customers. All the time. I kept trying to give this place a chance, but the clientele are horrendous. The only redeeming quality about this place are the bartenders, but unfortunately they allow a bunch of trash through the doors.

Probably the worse place I have been to EVER! Came in grabbed a beer… had some fat ugly broad hitting on me in front of her gangster boyfriend so I felt it was time to go out back pass the restrooms to have a CIG. Low and behold it was like skid row with bums and ESES smoking meth outta a pookie. That sealed The deal and I literally took one drag of my CIG and left this shithole. Yea its a «neighborhood bar» harbor city and meth go very well together. Do yourself a favor and never step foot in this place. I heard multiple story’s of people getting shot or stabbed here… yea…no thanx

Cold cheap beers. Locals, Lomita dive, what’s not to like? «Where the music stinks and they water the drinks!»

Mcgeadys is one of my favorite bars to go that’s somewhat close to my area. Its cheap and Jim the bartender is great at taking care of you. There’s 3 pool tables, a decent sized bar, 2 smoking areas and a juke box. Also for a beer and wine bar they have a great selection for all beer and wine lovers. Fridays and Saturdays can get pretty packed but the crowd is friendly and welcoming.

Local joint with 4 pool tables that run you 50 cents each game. Nothing special, type of place to grab a beer after work or when you’re bored at home. Beer and wine only.

I love this bar! On Sundays I go to do laundry at the laundry mat and the bar is just next door! What a perfect way to kill time and relax. Also, in this plaza is one of the most recognized Mexican food establishments in the south bay… El Burrito Jr. The beer itself is always cold, never flat and always hits the spot! The beers are $ 3 for domestic and the prices vary on the imports. Pitchers are the way to go! They serve you a pitcher with an additional glass. No hard alcohol here tho(no liquor license). CASHONLY you’ve been warned!, haha but don’t worry they have ATM. Through the back door is a smokers area, but they have an ash can out front also so its up to you There are three pool tables, a punching bag game, and an old school hunting game played with a fake shot gun. The staff is always happy to see you at this friendly pub! Which is kinda confusing because it gives off more of a dive bar vibe. Whatever it is I’m in! Come give them a try!

My New Favorite Place! Kathy the bartender is super cool and I know all the people that come to McGeady’s are there to see her! It’s a small place and it’s been around forever, but it’s a pretty fun place to hang out

Can’t say one thing to make you want to come here. Beer, pool, sketchy patrons… that’s about it. Didn’t feel like hanging out for long.

All the patrons here are addicted to meth and if you drink the beer you’ll surely get hepatitis. :(

Kinda low-key, laid back, nothing special. I poked my head in here one night just to check it out. The place was fairly full, people enjoying themselves. Place is a bit smallish, usual neighborhood dive bar vibe. They were a bit busy and so it didn’t break my heart to just see it without ordering anything and just go to another place.

Formerly called The Bee Hive, McGeady’s Pub, which carries a wide variety of beers and wines, is much larger than it appears from the street. With room for three pool tables, darts and an electronic punching bag game(for the truly macho) this pub has several tables and a long bar running from one end of the place to the other. Plenty of parking out front and a smoker’s hang-out area just outside the back door. Prices are average. Beer is served ice cold and the wine selection is surprisingly good, considering the venue. Pool tables seem straight and true and the crowd is mixed. When I was there last I saw people in their 20s, 30s, 40s and even much higher. Music pumps through the jukebox all night. The bartender(I say the because I have only seen one. the same one… every time I visit) is friendly and fast. Fairly low-key in general but this place has a bit of an energetic buzz going on. To me its a great place to have a beer, shoot a rack, and just hang out with friends. McGeady’s only accepts cash but the do have an ATM inside. Of course, those ATMs have fees and since I hate those fees I figured its good to warn you here in the review so you can remember to bring cash when you come.
