Nice owners, great donuts — always fresh tasting! I’ve been getting donuts from here for over 15 years, they still maintain their quality!

The donuts were as good as any I tried. At first when we pulled into the parking lot I was wondering if we were at the right spot because it looked a bit shady and more like a corner gas station shop. But donuts were unbelievable — soft, and just about perfect. Well worth driving out of our way to get them.

THEDUKEISHERE!!! I’m a fan! Yes! That is right! The Duke of Jay’s Donuts admits he is fan! And seeing as this is my go to Donut shop in Torrance, I will soon be referring to this place as Ray’s Donuts… No? Yeah I didn’t like that name either. lol. But anyways. These donuts are bomb digitty! They are so damn fluffy that it feels like you are biting into a cloud. What? You’ve never tasted a cloud before? Well when you try these donuts, it’ll be the closest thing to a fluffy cloud. And they are open 24⁄7! I’ve come after midnight. Before midnight… after dinner. What can I say. Donuts taste good at night. Drinks: I just recently ordered a Thai Tea from here. And it tasted really funky. I would just stick to ordering donuts from here. Service: Really friendly. Will I be back? Hell yeahhh! Like I said up there. My go to donut shop! I’ll see you soon Jay’s Donuts!

Yay Donuts! Pretty good donuts here but I don’t really think there’s anything especially spectacular. We got the maple donut bar, cakey donuts, apple fritter, donut holes, and some glazes. Everything really tasted as expected. A little more doughy and cakey than I like but really just a regular donut shop. To really impress and wow from a donut perspective you gotta be very light and ‘airy’ on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside. Or at least have some extraordinary flavors that most places don’t have. So overall this place is your average donut shop that executes regular donuts well. That’s about it. A-OK.

Nice owners, solid fresh donuts. I’m from the SF Bay Area and my favorite place up there(Stans) is still better but not by much.

I tried Jay’s donuts for the first time and was really surprised at the quality of the donuts especially for the price! One glazed doughnut ball is only .15 cents, the mini sigh its are .80 cents and the regular sized donuts are .90 cents – what a deal! The owner gave us one mini glazed doughnut ball to try and it had a great texture on the outside and was nice and soft on the inside. My husband and I decided this will be our go-to place for doughnuts now! They are open late as well which is great for when you are craving a late night snack!

I can’t understand what the workers are saying sometimes but they are nice and they have good donuts. It’s so soft in the inside. I’m not too into sweets so I just stick to the OG Glazed Donuts but they have some of the best glazed donuts I ever had haha

Got 2 donuts at around 7pm. And they still tasted fresh. Had the cinnamon twist(not the powder-y looking cinnamon) and a maple bar. Very chewy and tasty. Came back the next day and the cinnamon roll was and chocolate donuts were fresh and pillowy. Off the hook good. Great donuts.

Excellent donuts! The chocolate glazed donut is so soft and tasty! The apple fritter is also quite nice with crispy edges and soft center. Very fresh donuts overall!

Every time I go to Lomita to visit family, I have to stop by Jay’s donut. Their chocolate bar is the best chocolate bar I’ve ever had in my life. Every time I walk in, I always feel so welcomed. They are so nice and sincere. The customer service is great and they always have a smile on their face. I went in one night and was greeted by a young girl, she gave me the warmest welcome. I know it’s just donuts but man… the donuts were moist and soft and so yummy! They have lotto, cigs, and plenty of drink choices too. I love this donut place and I highly recommend the chocolate bars!!! I will be a forever customer!

Went here based on reviews, unfortunately at noon on National Doughnut Day, they were pretty much out of everything. Was able to pick up a fritter and a filled for $ 3. One thing we noticed is that the fritter tasted a little burned but didn’t look burned, we’re suspicious that the oil may be old which could be because I was there pretty late in their day. I would have to Jay’s another time but earlier next time.

Used to work at one of the dealerships close by and always had Jay’s donuts at work for our customers. Have to say, I won’t be going back to Krispy Kreme;sorry folks. But Jay’s donuts have the best most doughy donuts ever! Always fresh and tasteful. So if you’re looking for that doughy donut you have to come here.

Nothing out of this world in terms of donut selection, standard favors. From the reviews I thought they would have special flavors, however its just like your average neighborhood donut shop

Based on the rave reviews, I stopped at Jay’s yesterday, 12÷28÷14. Bought a cinnamon twist and an apple fritter… both fresh and delicious! Not super friendly, but who cares… for great donuts I’ll take it. I’ll be back!

My friends and I came here because we were in the area and wanted some donut holes. We got 10 $ worth of donut holes and she gave us so much! They also sell donut holes made with cake mix, and they were good, too! My friend didn’t know what it was, so she gave him samples of each. Talk about good service! We ordered half and half. We couldn’t finish it. I love apple fritters. Ever since I tried one, I decided that they are the tastiest out of all the donuts. I got here and found the largest apple fritter I’ve seen in my entire life. Of course I had to buy it. I was really excited for it, and the owner was really happy that I was impressed. The apple fritter was fried well, exactly the crunch I expected from the outside, with the soft, chewier inside. She let me try the cinnamon twist(it looks like a tiger tail, but she calls it differently) and I liked it, too! Conclusion: If you like donuts, you have no reason not to at least try this place. The variety is large, it’s tasty, and the owners are super nice.

This donut shop is easy to miss but something should not be missed. The hot chocolate and donuts make a delectable treat. Their coffee has a lovely scent but since I am not a coffee lover, I haven’t tried it. The lady behind the counter has a gracious manner.

[Review #94] H wanted to have dessert after she was done with her BCG burger. Instead of a BCG milkshake, we went next door to Jay’s Donuts. There was a couple of teenagers being helped, no greeting when we walked in. I guess there’s a camera or mirror because a man came out from the kitchen & asked if we’ve been helped. I checked on Unilocal before ordering, & noticed there was a photo of a cronut but sadly, they were out. The baker says he makes them in the morning but does not stock them in the evening. Considering this shop is open 24 hours, they may be missing out on potential customers(like me) since the«cronut craze» is still on. At this hour, their selection is a bit limited but my favs were in stock. I was undecided, debating between a cinnamon roll, apple fritter, & cinnamon twist(they were h-u-g-e). I’m also saving mine for tomorrow(as my BCG City Slicker started settling), but not before I took a nibble… it was moist, & had nice texture & cinnamon flavor. It was good but nothing that stands out like Mackay’s Donuts or Daily Donut House. H picked a chocolate bar, which was surprising… she usually picks a pink glazed donut or a chocolate donut. I told her that she can have it in portions tomorrow(I don’t need a 4-year old on a sugar high just before bedtime). Doh! :-O Jay’s offers decent donuts at a fair price… great for those with the midnight munchies(open 24⁄7), not so great if you’re munching on donuts in the middle of the night. :-X

This place is money. Great donuts, great prices. The guy even hooked me up with a few extra free donuts because I was a first time visitor. Hit this place up!
