Lux Chateau Hookah Lounge

Went here on a date and had a great time! I have been to hookah bars in the past and this one had a great menu of flavors and offers hot cappuccinos. The best part was the coals are at the counter so you do not have to wait for someone to refill you. We had a mixed flavor I can’t remember which two very good. Clean place variety of seating from couches to tables. I would go back even though it’s almost an hour drive.

Best hookah in Illinois! Jamshed packs the best hookahs! Love the people and the ambiance. Staff is very friendly and flavor recommendations are always on point. One pack lasts hours without getting harsh. They have all the flavors you could think of. Their drinks make the entire experience even better. I like their mango shake, Egyptian tea and iced latte!

My friend and I stopped here after a casual girl’s wine night out. Had the watermelon mint flavor. We loved it! It was a nice atmosphere and cozy/​comfortable. I also had tea and we both had espresso shots which were good. Next time we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely be back to visit!

Amazing! My husband and I are here for work and came after dinner. Great relaxing place. Owner is so sweet and mixed a great blend. You must try the lemon mint and ambrosia mint! Also the mint tea is the best I’ve ever had! Great price! A must visit attraction!

When we go out, my husband and I need some goood hookah after having our food. We were in this area and searched for a hookah place nearby and so we came across this. When I entered I instantly loved the place! The ambience and everything. Its a welcoming place. They had a good long list of hookah flavors that you could choose from. Also we sat on the couch and were told that its $ 11 for one person but you can use that amount for hookah and drinks. So that was okay with us. The service was very good. It was a weekday so don’t know if that makes a difference. The hookah was good too. We sat for almost an hour and it was working fine.
Also they have a VERY clean restroom. For me thats kind of a BIG plus.

Don’t be fooled by the looks of this place. First of all, this is the first hookah place I have ever went to that charges you by where you sit. $ 9 per person for small, uncomfortable table or $ 11 per person for a couch area. Went there on a Tuesday night with a friend. You would think that if the place was almost empty, the service would be great. Very disappointing service, and flavor was unappealing. Also, the hookahs had really cheap plastic hoses that kept falling apart. My friend and I were there for 2 hours, and within that time the staff acknowledged us once. We had to ask for more coals every time, to the point where they were the size of a penny. They don’t change the coals for you here so you end up making a huge mess. I don’t even want to imagine what the service is like when it is packed. If this place wants to step it up, they need attentive staff, and pay attention to the actual customers not sit and converse with your friends.

There are only 3 things you need to look for in a hookah lounge. Service, Price, and of course, the Hookah. Lux hits all 3 categories on the money. Very friendly and flexible staff. I’ve been coming to lux for a little over 2 years now and their service is the best I’ve received from any hookah lounge. Staff is willing to accommodate to all your needs and they are just downright friendly. Price is reasonable. Not too expensive and not free, right in the middle. Consistently end up paying 12 $ with a little bit left on the tab whenever i come here with buddies. Last but not least, the sheesha is on point. Lemon Mint and Paan Apple are my go-to’s and they always hit. They also have some of the best teas of any sheesha bar. Not that Taza BS, but authentic arabian teas (my favorites are the Mint and Egyptian teas!). Great place if you want to kick back and have a chill night with friends!

I’ve been to many hookah lounges since moving to Chicago. And lux château is the only place that has exceptional service. There are many flavors to choose from. The hookah runs smoothly and the atmosphere is great. The staff regularly check on customers to ensure their satisfaction. I would definitely recommend lux château hookah lounge to others.

Decent hookah bar with nice ambiance, however the hookahs as another Unilocaler have said «don’t last very long». That is very true, and would also like to note that they charge additional fee for natural coals, which should be standard, instead of a $ 3.00 up charge. Hookah bar has room for improvement, and I might be back.

Good flavors however it does not last long at all. After about 3 min due to over packing it was burnt. The hookah pipe they have are typical hookahs that you have in your house. All around will not come back until an upgrade.

My friends and I were here for about 5 hours inside the little cage-​room. We had a blast. We were playing card games all night long. Their hookas hit REALLY WELL! It is a little far for me, but it is well worth it. The place is very classy. I’m not really a fan of the set price per head, but it works. Also make sure you try their iced chai latte. I will be returning here.

Chill spot to enjoy some hookah with friends. They give you a tab which is roughly $ 11 a person and you can use it toward the hookah, changing flavor or refreshments.
They carry PAN flavor which in my opinion is one of the BEST!!!
You can also buy supplies at a fairly reasonable price and the lounge is quite attractive.

I brought my friend here a couple days ago for his birthday. Iv been here many times before and I am never disappointed the service is very good. What makes this place very unique is that the have a hookah flavor iv never had anywhere else before and from what I know it is very hard to get, its called Pan Masala is a nice strong but very smooth flavor, that smokes thick. You can really taste it unlike other hookah bars and there star buzz flavors. The seating is comfortable and you feel like your in a third world country. This is a place I would love to go to more often but its about an hour away from my home. they have a menu of delicious coffee and Turkish tea and of course energy drinks. Everyone should come and experience this.

First time here, it was a really good time! The music (hip hop) made it even better because it keeps you moving when your relaxed and just enjoyed it! The service was the best part! I didn’t get the guys name but he made the experience nice and enjoyable. I would definitely come here if I ever wanted to do hookah again.
The prices are very reasonable and give you more then you need!

The guys that work here work extra hard to make sure you are happy and content with their products. Ha, as I speak they brought us an extra sheesha with an electric bowl!!! It’s amazing!!! Lol anyways, the flavors are all pretty legit too. I have spent an hour solid pulling with multiple friends on the same bowl without feeling any burn. Now that’s a good pack.

Came here on a date the other night. Very nice place. A ton of flavors to choose from and the hookah lasted for a long time both on the original flavor and the refill. Would have lasted longer had we stayed but we had to go. Hookah was smooth and didn’t hit hard at all. Place is nicely laid out and the employees were very nice and attentive. Would definitely come back here again.

Great place to go with a group of ladies who don’t drink. My girlfriends and I are new to hookah but the staff made up feel at ease. Great mango smoothy and green jasmine tea. The hookah was nice and the service was polite and attentive.

The Good:
–The minimum tab is reasonable, and with a big enough group, can go for hours.
–Their drinks are delicious
–the staff are very good at suggesting different flavors to try. They even like to mix some up and share them with others.
–You can tell that Hookah is a hobby and a big interest with the employees and not just a job.
–The staff are very friendly and don’t mind just talking and hanging out with you if it’s slow enough
The Bad:
–The music is usually on a play list and repeats after about an hour. Its not a big deal but definitely something you will notice while relaxing.
–There has been a couple times where the Hookah wasn’t setup right and the tub kept popping out.
–If it is even a little busy it can be hard to get someone’s attention to help you with a new order. You usually have to be proactive and go up to get assistance.
–The cage area is one of the more expensive areas to sit in, yet it is the most uncomfortable. The floor is carpeted but hard. There is a table in the middle that makes you stuck with sitting cross legged most of the time. And there are burn marks all over the carpet.
Overall the good highly out weigh any bad this place may have. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a chill place to hang out for small amount of money.

This is my favorite hookah lounge in the area. They have tangiers here! The prices are based on party size and seating — tables, couches, and private screens.
There are TVs everywhere playing movies and the crowd is diverse. The staff really know their products :)
I cannot wait to come back.

Pretty decent place if you want to get a Hooka into your system in the west burbs. I liked the service and the recommendations provided, also found the crowd to be tame. These guys also make good hot beverages, and I particularly like the Egyptian Tea.
