We were given the opportunity to get a room at the LLRMH this past month while my newborn was at the NICU. Initially we were doing the commute everyday from Rancho Cucamonga, but it got to be expensive on gas and tiring. When we knew my daughter was undergoing open heart surgery we decided to get the room so we could be closer to the hospital. Initially they didn’t have enough rooms to accommodate us, so they put us at the Loma Linda Inn which is a few blocks West of the hospital. Then 2 weeks later they moved us into the house when one Of the rooms opened up. The rooms are large with their own restroom… very nice. As a guest there, you have access to the kitchen with your own pantry cube and fridge box. You also have access to their living room, patio and TV Rooms. They typically have either breakfast, lunches or dinners prepared by an outside organization for all guests of the house 2 – 3 times per week. The only downfall of my stay was that we were not allowed to have any food or drinks in your room other than water bottles. And that none of their rooms have televisions… But aside from that, the place is great you need to be close to the hospital and you can’t beat $ 10/night.
