Called Whirlpool to schedule a service appointment. They set my date and gave me the contact info for the repair company, KW Service. The day before my scheduled appointment I had missed a phone call from KW30 minutes prior to their closing time. Due to this I wasn’t able to reach anyone until the next day(my scheduled service day). The lady who answered the phone informed me that since I didn’t answer my phone yesterday, they would not be servicing my washer since they don’t do ‘same day service’. This made no sense to me since my appointment had been scheduled, but I just went with it and rescheduled for Friday afternoon. They were unable to repair my machine day of and said they’d have to order the part and would call me back Monday to schedule a return. Never received a call Monday so I called them on Tuesday and left a message since it went to voicemail. 30 minutes prior to closing I received a call letting me know the part was in. I informed her that we ended up just buying a new washer. Her tone changed quickly and she was berating me for not informing her of this prior to the order being placed. They are a company and can work with their supplier to return the item, so I really don’t see what the big deal is. Customer service skills need to be improved slightly.

I judge services based on the communication skill and interaction with them on the phone or in person. I’m already a fan, because the lady I spoke to listened, wasn’t desperate for business, explained what typically happens with my fridge’s malfunction, and gave me options. I will update review when they come to inspect and repair my Amana refrigerator, but I’m expecting them to be great.

I Contacted them since I just purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on Sunday and it seems not to be cooling properly. The lady that answered was rude and told me that they no longer contract with Frigidaire since they don’t pay them enough. I am like I was given your number by them since I have only had my refrigerator and before I could finish she said well to bad– we don’t do service for them until they pay us more and I can call them and tell them and she hung up. HOW Rude!!! Unprofessional-I am just a consumer trying to get repair that was told to me by them. I will never do business with these unfriendly people! Just because u have beef with them u should not take it out on a new customer.

I had an appointment scheduled with them through my Whirlpool warranty to get my washer fixed. I waited a week for them to come and then they didn’t show up and they never called or anything! I tried to call them several times and was never able to get hold of them or leave a message because their mailbox is full. Horrible service and I will never use them again. Now I have to wait another week for another repairman to fix my washer! Thanks a lot kW appliance and Whirlpool! I am a very unhappy customer!

It’s unfortunate that Marvin had a unpleasant experience with KW. I had a similar experience but after the looking into it, KW was not responsible and it was the extended warranty company that was the issue. The service tech that was sent out to my home was fast, clean and friendly. Keep up the strong work.

Great service, great price. I sent them out to repair my mom’s older dryer. They didn’t have the part on them but came back made a quick repair at a very reasonable price, much cheaper than I expected for a repair that needed a follow up.

I called KW and they were out to fix my Kenmore dryer the next day. They were fast, courteous and affordable. My older dryer now works like new again. I would definitely use them again and I’d be happy to recommend them.

Great customer service!!! The service man called to let me know he was on his way and how long he would be here to look at my appliance. He was here afew minutes and saw he needed to order a part. Two days later they called and said they have the part and wanted to know what day and time would be good for me to have them come back and put the part in. Now thats” Customer Service«. Thank-you!
