Foods good. But!!! Burritos are getting smaller by the year. And I literally have to beg for salsa. Extremely stingy. Get mad when you ask for more and even want to charge. The whole reason I go there is because there’s salsa goes good with the food

Menu was confusing and didn’t have pictures or anything. Food was decent but lacking in flavor. Delicious tortillas!

The food here lacks flavor. Been here 4 times and each time I haven’t been happy with the food. I have to add salt or put hot sauce on it to give it flavor. The hot sauce is great here. Kind of sad the best thing about this place is the hot sauce. Two stars because the people are friendly that takes the order.

If I Could Give it zero stars I would, my wife and a came here a few days ago, and I must say I had the worst experience, we placed our order she got some tacos and I asked for the Chile verde dinner plate, we waited and when we c got our order they gave me a burrito, I’m thinking no big deal I took it back and told the worker my order was wrong and told him what I wanted, I waited a few min. He said it was ready, I get it and it is wrong again, i took it back and he tells me «i dont know what the fuck you want» I told him I want my money back and I asked for the manager he said he is the manager I said the is is how you talk to customers he told me I need to learn how to order I said I said I wanted the Chile verde dinner plate i said there is a picture on your menu come and look he says fuck you then goes on a rant saying he is off at 9 and is going to kick my ass I reach for my phone to record this guy and his attitude changes he starts to apologize, I decide to walk away. I’m not sure the name of this guy he is a bald headed Mexican guy who apparently has no people skills, if he is not happy with his job he can quit, these are the same kind of people asking for $ 15hr and can’t do there damn job.

This is probably the best place to get great tasting fresh authentic Mexican food ! There’s a reason why this place is always packed. It’s amazing !! You can tell the tortillas are home made. They had the best corn tortillas ever ! The hot Sauce is the perfect amount of spice ! It’s overall a great place ! I can’t wait to eat there again

Delicious! I had the 2 shrimp taco plate. Handmade tortillas, a good amount of shrimp with a side of rice and beans. I visited on a Saturday around 4pm but I can easily see this place being super busy during the week or lunch hour rush. Definitely going back to try the other dishes.

Food was quite bland. Del mar burrito barely had any seafood, pretty much all rice & beans plus lacked any sort of sauce so was dry. My girl disliked her burrito as well saying it was bland. The tortillas they use for the tacos were good though, I like the one thick tortilla vs the 2 thin street taco style

Carne asada breakfast burrito is what my stomach asked me to order and my taste buds were happy with it’s decision. Really good breakfast burrito, good fresh ingredients, homemade taste, excellent service and the salsa that it came with was absolutely delicious. I’m definetly going to come back to try more of their items.

My gf and I were craving a quick Mexican dinner so we ordered from Cha Cha’s over the phone for pickup. I highly recommend it because they take awhile to make your food if you order at the window. I ordered the famous Antonio’s Wet Burrito, which has chicken, beans, rice, cheese smothered in red and green sauces and striped with sour cream. I have to say, the end product looked so delectable that I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into it. I have a weakness for Mexican food because they’re simple, messy, and full of mixed flavor. This wet burrito was a bit tough to cut into because of the excessive tortilla that was folded to wrap it. It’s as if there was room to add more filling, but they opted to wrap it there. The inside itself could have used more cheese or beans because it was a bit plain. The chicken was shredded, but not tender and the beans and rice was lack thereof. It would have been great if the chicken was grilled into small pieces because it would’ve added a charred flavor instead of the salty broth juices that the chicken was brined in. I had to dip and mop the burrito bite in the red and green sauce to mask the salty flavor. I also doused the entire wet burrito with additional salsa verde to add more flavor. This wasn’t the best item on the menu so next time, I’ll opt for a seafood or steak burrito instead.

My bf and I always pick up food here after a long clinic day. The outside dining isn’t too great so we call in our orders and eat at home. Good comfort food!

Great Mexican food. So delicious. I ordered 2 California red burritos and 2 taco kids meals. The meat in both burritos and tacos were shredded beef. Wow! The meat was so good. It had no fat chunks like everywhere else I’ve had. It was just the meat. I was very impressed. My daughters had the tacos and they loved it too! My daughter who doesn’t even like Mexican food ate her whole taco. You know it’s good when your picky eaters eat it:-) the beans were cooked well and so was the rice. The man who took my order was so helpful. He even helped me take the food to my car. I didn’t give a full 5 starts because well… I’m always a critic but my burrito came with guac(I’ve said in a previous review, guac is my lover and friend) it was sadly a smear of guac. I’d say a teaspoon:-(I couldn’t even see it nonetheless taste it! I was disappointed. I will be ordering again soon though! Next time with extra guacamole please!

This little place hits the spot. You order at the window and dine outside which can be a little warm in the summer. My carne asada tacos were delicious.

A favorite since I first visited Redlands in 1990, I think consistency is their strength. I reaffirmed my appreciation recently with an excellent Carne Asada burrito. If I had paid better attention to a sign, I could have scored a California Wet Burrito instead. Oh well, live and learn. Back sometime soon I hope.

They use thick, hand made corn tortillas to make their tacos. This is a definite plus and rarity for a «taco stand», heck, you don’t even get that in most restaurants! I had the fish taco plate(2 tacos), which they make with Swai fish. This is considered to be a very economical fish that takes well to spices/rubs and sauces. That being said, they sauce this fish very well, as it has very authentic Mexican«adobado» flavoring. The fish was very saucy/juicy and tasty. The perfect side dish to any Mexican dish is beans, and they don’t disappoint at Cha-Cha’s. You can tell the beans are fresh, mashed beans. They aren’t overly greasy like most Mexican places. You can totally taste the«bean» flavor; the beans are«meaty» and a bit pasty(like fresh mashed beans should be). The little hint of cheese they top the beans off with is just enough to enjoy some cheesiness but not overpower those homemade beans! Tip: Dump the contents of one taco into the other and fill that tortilla, with saucy fish residue, with those slightly cheesy beans. Now, you’ve got one excellent fish taco, and an equally excellent bean and cheese taco. The other side served with the dish was another Mexican staple: rice. The rice was typical Mexican rice. Soft, lightly seasoned and overall, decent. I prefer soupy, tomato flavored rice myself. I’m excited to go back and try some tacos with animals that stick to land: carnitas, carne asada or chicken!
