Best manicured track around! Course can jump up and bite ya… can’t really judge it after only one round. Fantastic community atmosphere. Awesome membership. Fun fun tournament and events. Great pro’s for lessons. Even great with younger kids… my daughter is 7. Lots of regular games to get involved in during the week and weekends. Very active MGA. Chef is really good! Bartenders know you very quickly. Great local club!

Im a new member at SCCC since March of this year. I think the overall package that Summit Chase gives families is great. The social benefits, dining options and Lounge services are fantastic. From pool parties to amazing values in the dining room and even at the bar($ 5 mixed drinks and $ 2.50 domestics) it’s a great atmosphere. The golf course is challenging in spots. 9 and 15 are 2 very challenging par 5s. The front is pretty open and flat and very approachable. Then you make the turn and fight through the trees and some elevation changes. It’s a very fun course to play often and the longer I am there the more I like it. I would like more diversity on the par 3s(3 of the 4 play around 150 – 175) but otherwise think the course offers a good amount of variety. 18 is also a pretty stellar closing hole with an approach over water and a pretty stout test of par. The best part of the club though, imo, is the feeling of being part of a family. The staff greets us by name every time we go to the club and has done so since we joined. This is an easy place to wind up and we often wind up there without golf on the menu.

Summit Chase Country club is a great place to play golf or tennis. It also has two large swimming pools located on the upper and lower levels of the club, for you your friends or family to enjoy. The Golf Course is a little misleading as far as the degree of difficulty is concerned. The front nine holes of the golf course are actually relatively easy for the somewhat experienced golfer to a defeat with a bogey, par or birdie. The last nine holes on the golf course are where the trickery of the golf course gods may begin to take rise. The back nine holes begin as a seemingly easy cake walk on the first tee, but as soon as you get to the second hole, you will probably notice that the degree of difficulty involved in attaining a par has increased significantly. But that is nothing a few angry throws of the golf club will not fix. The bar area at Summit Chase Country club is decent. It is pretty narrow and has a large window at the end that overlooks the upper pool area, which helps if you have to monitor a child while you sip on a cool beverage. Overall, Summit Chase’s main appeal is of course the large golf course, but after you spend some time at the Club you will notice that is does have a lot more to offer.
