One of our family’s favorite places to eat! We love the Chicken Fajitas. We’ve been coming here for years and the service is always great! We highly recommend it!

I ate lunch here yesterday. I had the beef fajitas. The tortilla chips were fresh and warm, the salsa was tasty, the drinks were served promptly and they were good, the lunch serving was just the right size, my request to leave some ingredients out was honored, everything tasted wonderful, the restroom was clean. The young lady who served us was friendly and available to help without hovering-timing of everything was excellent, all the way down to bringing the cheque. Everything was speedy but not rushed or stressful. The only comments for improvement was that the smell of sour floor washing water or something permeated the air when we first walked in. That worried me. I also looked around for the Health Inspection Report and I did not see it. Crossed our fingers and ate, and as far as I know, we survived. lol! The only other thing, and this is being super nit-picky, is that the latch on the 1st women’s bathroom stall needs repair. I only mention this because you are so close to a perfect review! Thanks for the nice visit — I plan to return.

We eat here all the time. We absolutely love the new menu! I only have two complaints and they are not food related. Friday night appears to be the busiest night so we do not get the best service. It appears that one server has to handle too many tables and that just does not work out for anybody. Also, a lot of the booths are just too tight to squeeze into. But again, the food is great so we pick the best nights to go and make sure we get a good spot and we are happy diners!

I’m from California and they have the BEST Mexican food! So I have been spoiled my whole life! I recently moved to Georgia and have been on the hunt for a good authentic tasting Mexican spot that gives me that Cali Mex taste! So far zero Luck ! This place though does have delicious beans and rice and tasty salsa! So I would go back and have that and try something different than what I’ve had. I went on Cinco De Mayo I ordered chicken Enchilada and a chilli Relleno, again the beans and rice were good but the chilli Relleno was terrible! It wasn’t a chilli Relleno! It was a pepper over a bed of ground beef and covered in cheese. A real chilli Relleno has no meat! And is in an egg batter that is fried but is spongy and juicy with a pepper and cheese cooked inside of it. I love chilli rellenos so that was a huge disappointment! My enchilada was just ok, the sauce had a gravy like taste to me and didn’t taste very authentic. My husband had carnitas and he enjoyed it but it had a lot of fatty pieces. I think I’m overly critical when it comes to Mexican food because it’s my favorite and California Mexican food is amazing!!! If anyone knows of a good place near me please recommend! Now I will say this I will go back and try another dish cause I love Mexican food! And this so far has been the better one of all the other Mexican restaurants I have tried and the staff was nice and friendly. Why no orange/yellow nacho cheese in Ga? Only queso for nachos smh! I guess it’s a Cali thing!

Consistently great food and service keeps me coming back. Their salsa is great and I can’t get enough of their nachos. I’ve been coming here for years and every time it is a great experience. They always provide superior service no matter how busy the place is. Their food is always top notch. They have figured out how to make some of the best mexican food in the state and do it every day. Great food, wonderful service, reasonable prices. If you have not tried this restaurant you are truly missing out on one of the true gems of the area.

This place probably has the best mexican food I’ve eaten in Georgia in a long time. I’m not sure if management changed since the bad reviews I saw on here, but I have been there multiple times(over ten in two months!) and have never had a problem. I even had a waiter bring me a wrong order and it ended up being something I never tried before, that was DELICIOUS. I have never been let down by any of the dishes I’ve had here, and my bf thinks they have the most amazing tacos he’s ever had. The staff is super friendly, the food is soooo affordable it’s almost insane, and it’s on the queit part of a shopping center so it never gets too crowded in the parking lot. This spot has become one of our favorites for meals. Go there if you get a chance!

yeah. i gave it a shot. took an our to get our food. waitress said something about our order getting lost. worst reason to have to wait for the food. and it wasnt even worth waiting on. food was very minimal. not much food. not much flavor. not very well prepared. i do believe they mix the salsa with water. the booths we sat in at the back of the restaurant were so close together, i felt like i was having dinner with the family beside me. and the kicker, a patron dropped a beer mug and shattered it. glass everywhere. the glass was left all over the floor the remainder of the time i was there. even after another patron asked the waitress«arent you going to sweep that up?’ she left as to go get a broom, but came back empty handed. we also had to wait at the checkout stand for a while too. there was no line. it was just us. it was so hard not to just walk out of there. im sure they would have never even noticed. there are too many other decent mexican restaurants in the area to give this one another shot.

Welllll… I’ve always liked this restaurant. Easy to get in and out of, there’s never a wait and the chips are good. It’s just not the best, I guess. I did realllly enjoy the Texas margarita. :) But I ordered the steak fajita nachos. The steak was so chewey, I had to pull that nasty trick of removing it from my mouth and hiding it under a chip. Boooo! But the cheese dip was good, salsa good, if a little runny, and wait staff is very friendly. I just won’t get anything with steak next time. Basically, good cheap Mexican food, but nothing to call your mama about.

Nothing like listening to rap when dining at a Mexican restaurant! Also enjoyed trying to locate my waitress for our check and having to interrupt her text messaging to get the check. If none of that bothers you, the food is just okay.

It is pretty obvious, at least to me, that this restaurant is a knock off of another popular Mexican restaurant that starts with an «F» and ends with an «A.» Monterreys does a decent job at the most of living up to the standards set forth by their Mexican restaurant predecessors. They at least have almost every single«combinacions» arranged in the same format as their predecessors. The food quality, at least at this particular location is not very good though. Last time I paid them a visit, I really thought the taco meat was a little too dry, and the salsa was over the top as far as being runny is concerned. Most of the waiters at this location don’t speak very good English either, which I believe is a definite barrier to communication. I was able to get by though on the one Spanish course I took in college. Repeat after me «Me gusto numero diez.» There you go, that was not so bad.
