We have never had anything here that we haven’t loved! By I LIVE for their pork tacos… Such and explosion of flavor with the pulled pork, slaw, BBB sauce and fresh cilantro in a lightly toasted tortilla. My mouth is watering just thinking of them! They also have one of the best burgers in town. The servers are always pleasant and make you feel right at home. Great local place!

«Nothing fancy» style family restaurant with nice servers. I had the ribs and they were quite tasty. I had a side of the chicken because I wanted to see if it had a smoky taste but it was rather bland and dry. Wife had the pork nachos and gave it two thumbs up. Could have used some better quality beers though. I’m not ruining the taste of my ribs with a Bud Light. :)

Always stellar, always the best service and they have crawfish(it’s a Cajun thing)! Check for specials during the week and GOEAT!!! They’re never too busy to give you an amazing dining experience much less fill you up!

The Good: the food is very good. I have had the ribs which are small but better than average, the sauces are very good with 4 styles to choose from. The fried ribs were interesting but too salty. The pork skins were ehh, but they are freshly made. The sides are very good, I have tried the Mac and cheese, jambalaya, red beans and rice, Cajun fries, and sweet potato fries. All were better than average. The best in Loganville in fact. The pimento cheese hamburger was really good. The po boys are very good, great bread. The bad: every time I go, there is something gross in the food. 3 times, 3 gross things. 1st time, the bread had a bit of mold on it. 2nd time, there was plastic in the red beans and rice. 3rd time, there was a long hair in the bottom of my Jambalaya! Every time this happens they say sorry of course but it keeps happening. The last time the owner was there, and he didn’t even say anything. Not a thing off the bill either. Service is not great but not bad. The serving size is ok. It is very disappointing, because I really wanted to support this local business but cleanliness is a requirement in food service, and when you mess up, you have to make it a priority to fix.

It’s not«foggy» at all to me that this southern barbecue restaurant has it put together in every way. Growing up in the Deep South this Georgia peach knows good barbecue! My husband and I tried this hidden gem right in our back door for the first time and immediately fell in love. From the time we got there till the time we left we had nothing but great service ! Shout out to Sharon, thank you ! Both of our meals were above excellence in taste. I got the fried ribs(delish) with a side of brisket(amazing) for my sides I chose sweet potato fries that were to die for !! My husband is not a big bbq freak like I am and he was licking his fingers as we were leaving. Oh and the banana pudding was spot on ! You can count on me returning to this awesome north Georgia bbq restaurant. Thumbs up to Foggy Bottom where barbecue is perfection. The only reason I didn’t give a five star is because my brisket was a little cold. Overall the flavor was great !

Great food! A tad bit on the pricey side on some things but the portions are pretty good. The Brunswick stew here is very good!

We eat here often. The pork skins come out hot and popping and delicious. The seasoning on the skins really adds flavor. Worth the trip from Snellville just for that. The jambalaya is also delicious.

Just… OMG. The food is truly outstanding. You don’t get much better than this. The location is a little hard to find if you aren’t familiar with the area, but it’s 100% worth your time to eat here. The service is also very friendly. The prices are a little high, but homemade, high quality dishes are sooo worth it. Beats the pants off any chain.

I had the most amazing brisket at Foggy Bottom! It was tender and had fantastic smoke ring! Baked beans are out of this world! The slaw is a little different from what I’m used to(it’s vinegar based) but it’s still good. I’ll admit that I was a little skeptical trying out a different restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality, service, and the overall experience that we had at Foggy Bottom! Don’t let outside of the restaurant fool you! I highly recommend and we will definitely return soon!

This was great! I had the pork sandwhich and coleslaw. The meat was seasoned well and moist. The meat wasn’t too tangy and was just right for my taste. The coleslaw wasn’t too dry and wasn’t too creamy. I will definitely go back.

This place is real good. Even when its to go the sides stay warm and if you get fries they wont be soggy by the time you get home. Is it the best BBQ, not quite but very enjoyable. My only word of caution. Do not go early or they will just reheat yesterday’s leftovers. Thats right Foggy Bottom I ate a dry old lunch one day. But I forgive them because my other experiences with them outwayed it. Plus all the girls there are super nice.

Nicely decorated but If it wasent for the sauce The the pork sandwich was bland and did not have much of a smoke flavor over priced not much food and the waitress was very sweet but talk too much about her other job and rang my food up 4x with tip and did not tell me till I checked my statement. When I went in to get it fixed I got an apology from the manager not the waitress and a free dessert the next time I come in a lot of trouble for something I did not enjoy will not recommend.

Bbq is great. ½ chicken is the best. Mac n cheese is the best homemade style anywhere. Staff is great. My restaraunt of choice

I had lunch there for the first time ever yesterday. Had a bbq pork sandwich mac and cheese, and a drink. Not bad, not bad at all. It’s a locally-owned place on a dead end little street behind the school. Since I tend to seek out good brisket, I’m going to try that next time and see how that is.

The best BBQ I’ve had in the Atlanta metro area. Fried pig skins were deliciously crunchy and still cracklin’ when they came out. Pork tacos were juicy, flavorful and for only $ 9 well priced. Mac n cheese was some of the best I’ve had. Very creamy with a little spice to them. Waitress and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Foggy Bottom is a BBQ godsend. I don’t know what took me so long to find this little gem just 8 miles from my house. Located near downtown Loganville and sitting down off the side of the road FB can barely be seen unless you know its there. As you drive up the road you can smell the goodness. My first visit was a carry out order. Beef brisket plate with Mac and Cheese and Brunswick stew as my sides. You have the option of original, vinegar based or mustard based BBQ sauce that I believe are made in-house. I had the original which was delicious. For around 13 bucks you get a large serving of moist tender brisket, a cup of stew and cup of Mac/Cheese. You also get a piece of toasted texas toast. PLENTYOFFOOD The brunswick stew was good but you could taste the onion over the other ingredients. still much better than any other local stew I have had.(except mine) You can tell that this is a full time passion for the folks at Foggy Bottom. I don’t give out very many 5 star ratings but these guys deserve it and it was any easy decision. I will be back !

This place was amazing. It was pretty empty since it was raining outside but nevertheless the service was impeccable. I got the Brunswick Stew which was honestly the best Brunswick Stew I’ve ever had, it had a certain Cajun flavor to it. If for nothing else, I’d drive an hour back to this place just to pick up a couple quarts of it. I also got the brisket sandwich on Texas toast which was very nice as well. I wanted to try their jambalaya which I had read from a few Unilocal reviewers was good but honestly I wasn’t impressed by it. So if you’re going to dine here, stick with the BBQ.

They have the best ribs you can get! We love this place. The service is always friendly and the food is phenomenal. Tonight I ordered the half rack and our waitress didn’t feel like the size of the rack was big enough so she brought another. That kind of hospitality is hard to find!

Everything was great! I got the bbq sandwich with coleslaw to top it on Texas toast, I couldn’t stop eating! We started with the fried pickle spears and they were great! I shared onion rings with my friend and I have no complaints. I will come back again and recommend to my friends! Sharon, our server, did an excellent job!

The food is delicious. I had the pulled pork sandwich with original BBQ sauce coleslaw and baked beans. It is at the top of my list of best BBQ joints hands down. My husband had the brisket and said it was delicious. The only downfall was the wait but it was Friday night and it was a little expensive for Loganville.

I’m incredibly picky and finicky when It comes to bbq. When you’ve been to Texas and been spoiled by incredible brisket and sausage, it’s hard to find something that compares. My folks recently moved to Loganville and found this place about a week ago. I’ll admit it– I was rather skeptical when I saw they were behind a used car dealership but boy was I pleasantly surprised! Service– it was great! A+ we came in around 8:15 and they close at 9. Typically when you come in 45 minutes before a restaurant closes you can sense the«what the hell are these people doing» attitudes from everyone who works there. These folks were great! We were seated promptly and the waitress was incredibly nice and attentive. Food– my mom and I split the brisket plate. I’m not kidding when I say that it is some of the best brisket I’ve had since I visited Franklin’s BBQ in Austin, TX. My dad had the Brunswick Stew and it was delicious as well. A+ on the food! Price– it was a little pricey but I’m totally okay with paying more for good food, good service, and a good atmosphere. All in all, definitely give this place a try. F the haters; you’re gonna love this place.

The BBQ is pretty good. I loved their vinegar sauce the first time I ate here but something changed and now it’s different, not near as tasty. The homemade fried pork skins are very good. The Brunswick Stew is not good at all. Not enough meat and way too much filler(mostly green peppers). The service has always been good so that’s a definite plus. Worth a try if you know what to order.

Their tag line is Faith, Family & Food. If Faith & Family are priorities when you are looking for a restaurant… then Foggy Bottom is for you. Food is third on their priority list and it shows. The brisket was super fatty and the meat was dry. The sweet potato fries were cold. The slaw had the consistency of mayonnaise out of the jar and the collards were tastless. The deep fried cajun ribs were unique and delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The feel inside this place is like being in a camping style dinning hall — personnel are very friendly and personal comes with the great service. Couldn’t resist the ribs(went for the full rack). Smoked to perfection– prob would have preferred higher seasoned flavor, but still highly smoked fallen off the bone flavor and with side. This dinner was great for our party of 6 — everyone enjoyed. We will return.

Stay away if your looking for BBQ. The wife and I ordered chopped pork sandwiches, her side was fries while I opted to go for the stew. The stew was nothing short of Dingy Moore from a can– very bland tasting. Which leads to the sandwiches and fries. Black pepper and Lawrys seasoning are supposed to be enhancers, not ingredients. Who in there right mind puts seasoning salt on top of a chopped pork sandwich? My brother in law ordered the brisket sandwich, which came topped with pimento cheese??? So he sends it back to get just a brisket sandwich which turns out to be nothing short of pulled pot roast imitating brisket. No amount of horrible mustard sauce or ketchup based sauce, or just straight vinegar with hot sauce and red pepper flakes could mask the greasy pot roast. I think he took two bites of his sandwich before he called it unfit for his dog to eat. Hate to give a local spot such a bad review.

I have experienced BBQ all over the state of Georgia and if this is what is considered award winning BBQ I am wondering who judged the contest. To start off the service is great! The restaurant is very clean and seemed very organized. I had the brisket plate. It was very fatty, over salty and the sides were dry and salty as well. I always thought it was the kitchens responsibility to taste what goes out. This was my second visit here and I was trying to give it a second chance. I will not be returning. It is at best a mediocre attempt at BBQ. It is over priced for the area, and needs a lot of work in the kitchen.

This was our first time at the foggy bottom bbq since it opened. Driving by, the parking lot is always jam packed. I had the shrimp po’boy that a friend recommended to me. It was good, but I wasn’t blown away by it. The prices seemed a little high for the amount of food I received. Will definitely go again, and try something different.
