Staying at the Quality inn. This restaurant is connected to the hotel. Went for a late dinner when I checked in. The service at the restaurant was good. They let me order a quesadilla off the kids menu because they had so few vegetarian options on the menu. The guacamole was terrible. But everything else was standard Mexican/American fair.

Mi Camino Real is located in the Logansport Inn and Conference Center. The décor is festive, with colorful painted chairs and Mexican touches throughout the spacious dining room. The menu is large, offering chicken, meat, seafood and vegetarian options. My group had lunch on a recent Sunday afternoon. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and crispy and the salsa was excellent. I had the Pollo Loco, which was grilled chickens marinated in Mexican spices, served with rice, salad and delicious guacamole. The dish was perfectly cooked. The rest of my party enjoyed their entrees as well. The service was attentive and friendly. The meal was so good that I came back in the evening to get a dessert. They had just closed, but the manager happily offered to prepare me a sopapilla, a crispy Mexican flatbread, divided in quarters and topped with honey, whipped cream and chocolate syrup. It was just terrific – the perfect way to end the day! The prices at El Camino Real are extremely reasonable and the food is fresh and delicious. We travel all over the country year round and have tried dozens of Mexican restaurants. This is the first one that rates a rave review!
