I want to really like this place, but the food is just average. Decent burgers, good fries, etc. Nothing out of this world, but good. The service is always exceptional and the environment is really cool. The root beer is actually really good, worth trying

Service was great. If you like your food over cooked and black this is the place. The children got corndogs. The bread was black and spitting open burnt. I just don’t think food should be served like this. The best thing I had was the cold class of water.

A lot of people in Logan talk about this place being one of the best places in Logan. Well if have to disagree. We went here and I got some shrimp tacos and it came with the chili. The chili being nothing of desirable to me! It’s very thick meaning huge pieces of tomatoes basically your whole bit would be just tomato or piece of onion. I like my chili ingredients to be fine chopped in there and not being triple the size of the beans. As for the shrimp tacos they weren’t terrible but nothing special. Don’t remember what my husband got but he said it was just alright too. The gelato that they sell is pretty good though! I’d stop in for the gelato but never the food again.

REALLY enjoyed our Saturday 12:30P lunch. Gammon was extremely attentive but not hovering. Walked us through the specials, especially the spicy ones because our accents said«Southerners» which interprets in most people’s minds as «likes spicy food.» :) Beer cheese soup was as good as a memory I have from Baby Doe’s Matchless Mine in Birmingham, AL. Reuben was very tasty, onion rings pretty and good, and husband’s Greek pasta with chicken was a large portion with nice flavor. Food arrived in good time. House brewed root beer was good — thank you for not putting Ice in it — and my «Naughty Root Beer» with Smirnoff Vanilla was good, though I truly couldn’t taste the vodka, even with the extra shot I ordered. I’m not one for giving everyone 5 stars, but A) Gammon took care of us even though he had a bachelorette party in another room, B) the atmosphere was nice and everyone greeted us and said goodbye when we left, C) food was tasty and priced well for portion size, and D) I couldn’t make up my mind which means I’ll have to come back to try more items.

A party of 20 people, we had reservations a month ago, ordered prior to arrival and were offered complimentary chips due to an expected wait because another party ordered at the same time(noon). The problem? 2 bowls of chips for 20 people. «If you want more we’ll add it to your tab». Is this a Jesus with the loaves and fishes thing going on? Since when did 2 bowls of chips make 20 people happy about waiting? 0 would have been better. We ended up buying 2 more, on a tab that will easily top $ 250.

First time back in quite a few years. I finally had a chance tonight after a 12 hour work day. 10 minutes to get water. I made a quick order decision and ordered the BBQ burger, not sure which sauce was on it, with onions rings and a beer cheese soup. It took a little more than a half hour to receive the food and it wasn’t really busy. A lot of servers standing around. The food came out cold, except the soup. The server I had was great but seemed to be the only one doing anything. I know I came in 45 minutes before close but it was just me and I had an easy order. I don’t know that I will come back on any of my few visits to Logan. I think there are better places for less than $ 20 spent on cold food. Should have just got the soup and left it at that. Really disappointed.

Very disappointed in Beehive. A year ago they were a great restaurant, but they have gone downhill. Once was a great place to get some wings. One of it’s best features was a beer and wings on Sunday. Now they are closed on Sunday and their wing times are virtually impossible for any normal working individual throughout the week.

If you want a nice home-style dinner, then this is the place to go. I usually order the Country Fried Steak as it is a winner in the hot and tasty department. You get nice veggies and a crisp salad with it as well. Oh, and don’t miss the chocolate cake with fudgy frosting/filling. It was yummy and finished off our lovely meal. Only complaint is that the food is not always piping hot when served.

Dinner was good tonight. Much better than the bland cooking I had on multiple occasions a few years back. Brunch Burger with applewood bacon and a fried egg on top was tasty. They’re using better buns now which adds a lot. For a pub burger, they could be a bit bigger, maybe ½ lb for a buck and a half more. Beehive Nachos with added pork are very good and huge. I couldn’t finish a half order myself. Only issue with it is the chili needs to be thicker, a bit saucier so it sticks, because it slips right to the bottom. Included beer cheese soup dip is pretty good, but could use a little more cheese flavor, maybe sharp cheddar. Salsa is excellent, fresco style but with just enough heat. My kid’s mac and cheese was basically store bought with extra cheese on top, the only disappointment. Even for kids, they can do better than that. Beer battered fries are cooked just right, nice and crispy. I wish our server had suggested the rootbeer fry sauce(sounds delicious). Besides that she was attentive and friendly, kept us happy. Dining room is casual and comfortable, booths are private, room is spacious and laid out well. It’s decorated with a boat and sails on the walls, a big Beaver Mtn sign, anything else outdoorsy, plus a big cheesy Aggie flag up front that clashes with the classy water wall, kind of odd and random but bearable. As I’ve mentioned before gelato is delicious here. They just moved the entire setup into the dining room, I preferred it in the foyer for accessibility. They have a daily specials here every day of the week, drinks included. Their white wine based sangrias are fruit punchy, could use a little extra bite of sour or bitters, but they’re pretty good. Kids eat free all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. Overall we had a nice meal here. Better than expected. It has a steady crowd and a pleasant vibe to go along with good food and even better service. I’ll break it down… Food 3.5 Service 4 Ambiance 3.5 Gelato 4 Overall, I’ll round it up to 4 stars. Kudos to the huge improvement.

The staff doesn’t seem friendly or warm and only provides the bare minimum of service. My food tasted like a frozen TV dinner, wilted and soggy vegetables with cafeteria-like chicken and rice. Not good. Also, the menu said it was supposed to come with a side of bread-it didn’t. Way overpriced for mediocre food. Unless some changes are made, I will not be going back.

Me and my wife hadn’t been to Beehive for a few years and couldn’t remember why. We decided to go and give it a try. The waiter who sat us and took our orders was standoffish and awkward. My wife’s food(honey almond chicken with rice) tasted like frozen food from the grocery store. It looked like cafeteria food and the rice tasted like it had been microwaved. It was also supposed to come with garlic bread, but we saw no sign of that. All for a whopping $ 15 I had the root beer bbq burger, which was incredibly mediocre, the sauce was great but the burger was worse than a McDonald’s Big Mac. The fries were admittedly delicious. To top it off the people sitting in the booth next to us wouldn’t watch their kid, who kept crawling under our table and the parents made no effort to stop it, while this nonsense isn’t the fault of the restaurant it’s very indicative of the experience you’ll have there. Needless to say we realized why we hadn’t been in years and won’t be going back. The fact this is rated so high just shows the very low standards of restaurants in Logan.

I have read mixed reviews about this place but I have been there 3 times and loved it. I will say I’m a fan of pub food in general but these guys are great! I had the ravioli the first time and loved it! The caprese burger the second time and loved it, and I don’t remember the name of what I had the third time it was a spicy pasta dish. It was good but I liked the other 2 better. Their fries are delicious and we tried their potato skins once too, also good. No complaints! We will be back there for sure!

Really good food and good beers. I was up in Logan with my brother and we stopped in here for lunch. The server was very friendly and food was delicious. The beer selection was excellent as well. I will certainly be coming back next time i’m in Logan.

A very consistently solid and good place. The best is definitely there gelato which is in the entryway so even if you go someplace else, like I did tonight, you can still get dessert here! I recommend the chocolate and also the raspberry which is the lactose free. I’ve had most everything on the menu from the chicken pasta Alfredo which is a classic to the nachos which were only pretty good to the burger which was above average. It’s a good local flavor that is a step above a chain like Applebee’s.

As far as I am concerned the service at this place is good, and they seem to keep high standards. The atmosphere, although not annoying, is a bit too much eclectic(to rephrase them). At first I got to say I was impressed, but then I noticed that there were no clear theme that make it stand out/something that would make you want to say: «I’d like to spend an evening with friends over there tonight». Food wise, I would not give it a passing grade. Once had food poisoning from what appeared to me as a medium rare burger. Thinking it might have been a mishappening, I went back to find a meal that was ordinary at best: good fries, but nothing out of the ordinary for the rest. I am willing to give this place more tries(since there isn’t a lot of pubs/grills in the area)… What I find missing(food for thought for the owners/managers) : Chef’s special(different/more seasonal choices) A better choice of ambiant music(or rather one that changes and adapts to the time of the day) More creativity for the menu(different sauces for the fries, reinventing their burgers, beer suggestion to accompany the different burgers, more pasta choices…) A good burger place in a university town… it should be a staple for all the townsfolk. Cheers

The Beehive Grill, to begin with, is a fun comfortable environment to eat some delicious food, and drink a variety of unique and flavorful brews. The 50 cent wing deal is impossible to pass on. The drumstick wings tended to be a bit dry, where the wings were divinely juicy. We tried the sweet and tangy as well as the raspberry specialty. The latter tasting exactly like raspberry jam on wings, not our favorite. Our main courses consisted of the beehive cheesesteak and the pulled pork sandwich with Jack Daniels bbq sauce. Both of which were more than satisfactory. The meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Now where do I start with the fries… They were delectable. Beer batter fries, dusted in a blend of jalapeño spices work in unison with the house root beer fry sauce. Altogether it was an enjoyable experience with some quality service and some good food.

Service was good, pretty busy for a midweek afternoon in the bar and the dining room. Fun, and adventurous décor is everywhere and there is some local history/flavor included. Food was tasty and came within a favorable time frame for our lunch meeting.

Sat at the bar and got served by the really friendly and very cute — and very married — bar keep. Tried the following Moab brews: Moab Especial, Over the Top Hefeweizen, Red Rye IPA, Deadhorse Ale, Nut Brown Ale, and Coffee Porter. The Red Rye and Deadhorse I think we’re my favorite. After that it just started tasting like plain olé beer. $ 1.50 per 12oz glass is a steal where I’m from. I chased it down with a Beehive BBQ Burger which i thought was meh at best. I guess I’ve been a little spoiled when it comes to burgers. The burger looked like the kind you get from the frozen foods section at the grocery store, so it’s kind of hard to get excited about it. Taste wise it was a okay. The cole slaw looked rather simple but it was pretty tasty.
