I really love that Romo’s uses only fresh ingredients the lamb that is used for this is only sold on 2 spots on the east coast and Romo’s shave it right there and fry it just a couple min and makes an amazing Gyro my only request is extra sauce because it is Ahhhmazing and the owner is so kind and even made me a fresh falafel while I waited for my Gyro… love love love this spot for my gyro /falafel addiction…

Unfortunately inconsistent food quality. The first time i ate here was delicious and i was excited to have a good greek place near by. I have visited a couple times since and have not been as happy. I’ll probably keep chasing the dragon though and give it another try someday.

Love this place. It’s tasty, reasonable and unique to the valley. Debate authenticity all you want, but what they do, they do deliciously. What else can you ask for?

Real deal Mediterranean. I got the burger. It was quite wonderful! Definitely get the wow factor with the white sauce, the meats are wonderful! Also the fries were a pleasant surprise as they were delicious. Don’t head home unless you get a side of baklava. I must say it compared to the real stuff I had in Istanbul!

Got the Romo platter with lamb gyro, chicken shawarma, red pepper hummus, and Greek lemon rice, $ 12 and enough food for two, the chicken was the best, the lamb also good but a little dry, and the hummus quite tasty! I wouldn’t recommend the lemon rice though, and the baklava was just ok. Waited a bit for the food but they were packed so it wasn’t out of line.

We just had a very delicious dinner at Romo’s. The food tasted very fresh and left us feeling good and happy. We had the 3 kabobs… steak, chicken, and shrimp with Persian rice and a Greek salad. We also ordered the beef schwarma and fries. It was all excellent. The service was prompt and friendly and we loved the great big booth and table we sat at… enough room for our kids to color and move around a bit. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time eating here. Friday night and we had to wait around 15 minutes for a table. Soooo glad we did. My husband had the Greek salad topped with gyro and I had the chicken shawarma sandwich with a Greek salad and the best fries I’ve had on this side of the Atlantic. We also ordered the artesian falafel, which was delish! The wait staff was great. This is a much needed addition to the Logan restaurant scene.

Who knew I’d find some great Mediterranean food in Logan. Fresh lush tasty salads and their chicken shawarma is equally mouth watering. Service is hit or miss. Like with everything in Logan, if you blink, you’ll miss this place.

If you’re not really familiar with good Greek food this might seem fine, but there were so many problems with the basic recipes that their menu needs a lot of work. The tzatziki sauce was completely wrong. There was no fresh cucumber in it at all and it was overwhelmed by a crazy amount of dried oregano. The gyro had red onions instead of white and was completely overwhelmed by lettuce(not in a traditional gyro). The garlic aoli fries had good flavor but were very oily. And finally the baklava. Sad, sad, baklava. It had TWO layers. That’s it. If you know anything about baklava at all that’s pretty much all I have to say you will know the problem. It was also soggy. Unfortunately, you can get a much better and more authentic gyro at Crown Burger drive-thru for half the cost. The restaurant was clean and the food was hot so they get 2 stars. Our waitress Alexandria forgot everything we asked her for(like water refills, sauce, etc). I won’t come back here again.

Excellent gyro, excellent Greek salad and baklava not too sweet just perfect(ok maybe I was hungry). And service was real good our waitress topped our sodas off and gave us to-go cups. I’d eat here again.

The Baklava was very delicious. The service was wonderful and atmosphere comfortable. I ordered the Lamb Gyro lunch special. The best I’ve ever had. And the Greek side salad hit the spot. Our server was super friendly and helpful.

Only dine in. My to-go order was served with hot fries that melted into the styrofoam container. This is literal chemical poisoning. Violent illness short term, and if I did this weekly my risks of cancer would increase exponentially — among various other ailments. I told the Logan Health Department about the occurrence, but good luck explaining toxicology to those geniuses. Anyway, really good food. Hope they get their act together and stop being so — Logan. Cheap food, cheap ingredients, and uniformed health practices are all over this town — and Romos is on its way to blending right in.

Typically I would rate Romos very highly. They generally have good food, the chicken shawarma being my favorite. However, their service is always horrible! Today was bad enough that I may never go back. I called ahead for take out and was told it would be 15 minutes. 17 minutes later I arrived and paid and was told that the order wasn’t ready and would be a couple of minutes. I stood there for 30 minutes without anyone checking on me or giving an update. A lady from the kitchen came out to give an order thinking it was mine but it belonged to a guy who came in after I arrived. Then she turned around and saw my meal sitting on the counter, which had been there since I arrived. No apology, just sent me on my way. So my food was cold, the pita broken in half and not even wrapped so I can’t eat it without a fork. Miserable experience.

I LOVE Greek food. Needless to say I was excited to see a new Greek restaurant. All I had time for was a gyro plate to go. I was surprised to see that their pitas were slightly larger typical. The meat was seasoned fantastically. I opted for the fries instead of the rice. They were exceptionally good. On the down side, why was the gyro covered with chopped romaine lettuce? I’ve never had lettuce on a gyro before. Was it to cover up(hide) the shameful lack of onions and tomatoes? It also was skimpy on tzatziki, which is really the best component of the gyro. I’m back in town today, and plan on stopping by to give the gyro a second chance, now that I know to ask for no lettuce and extra everything else. I’m also eager to try the schwarma and kabobs.

Great Greek food in Logan. There Persian rice is excellent, one of my favorite sides. Large portions and nice location.

I returned to Romo’s for the first time in a few months, and left feeling a little bit let down. They raised their prices and cut back on portion sizes, which weren’t particularly generous to begin with. My schawarma basket came with about 8 fries and barely any meat inside of the pita. What I did get was delicious, but not even close to being worth $ 10. In the future, I might just wait until I’m in Salt Lake to indulge my Mediterranean cravings.

This review is for their soft opening. I’ll update once their full menu is available, but it is worth a review right now. I told my husband not one year ago that Logan needs a Mediterranean or Greek restaurant. Must’ve been something in the water, because I heard rumblings about Romo’s not long after that. We went on a Thursday evening in their first week of soft opening. There were a few folks there, but it was close to closing. They said they had filled the dining room earlier in the evening. Good sign! We decided to get our order to go and try a full spread. We got two apps: pita/hummus and falafel/tzatziki. Two entrees: beef shawarma and beef kabob plate. Two desserts: Greek cheesecake and baklava. We drove home and started chowing in the car and realized they’d forgotten our app. We called to see if they had charged us for it; they had, so we buzzed back. No big deal. :) They thanked us and apologizes with a sample mud pie dessert. The cheesecake is epically good. It is hard to find restaurants nowadays that don’t buy their cheesecakes in a box, frozen. There are a bunch in Logan, and we are lucky for that. I’d wager this is the best of the lot. Smooth, ultra creamy, crisp graham crust. The baklava was also excellent; I was worried because it looked a lot drier than the ones I had in the Mediterranean, but it was plenty sweet and syrupy, and the phyllo had a great crunch and lots of butter. It was served with a yummy scoop of salted caramel ice cream. Oops, dessert first. The entrees were very reasonably priced; the shawarma doesn’t come with sides. It is a housemade pita with sliced spit roasted beef, tomato, red onion, and tzatziki. So yummy. For a dollar more, the beef kabobs came with two skewers of seasoned beef, a salad, rice, and cut pita wedges. Both were epically delicious and I’d order either again. Their hummus is different but in a good way, and the falafel was super flavorful, but maybe a little dry. Probably just a soft-opening run. We went to go again the next night but it was packed! We’ll be back. Soon.
