Should have known better… Empty at 6pm on a Friday evening. Ordered two entrees and naan between three of us. No vegetables in the chicken tikka masala and the sauce lacked flavor or heat. Chicken coconut kurma also lacked veg and was mostly dark meat. Very odd grey color. Not flavorful. Garlic powder was predominant on the naan. The rice was ok. We left a lot of food, which we never do at the other Indian place in town. No drinks here either, not that it is a deal killer, but it’s nice to have the option of something refreshing other than a lassi(which admittedly we did not sample) with Indian food. I won’t be back to this place.

Ash, the owner, pays such fine attention to detail in every dish(we had five, with leftovers for a couple of meals the next day) that every mouthful was a taste treat… hard to find these days. Among other dishes, we had papadam, chicken tikka masala, shrimp(my mouth just started watering), and a wonderful cauliflower/potato dish. Honestly, orgasmic. And the prices are soooo reasonable. We live in San Diego, and are now in a desperate search to find an Indian restaurant even close to the quality of the Indian Oven… no luck so far.

Indian Oven is our go-to Indian restaurant in Cache Valley. While it isn’t perfect, it far surpasses the local competition. My BFF and I will often order two entrees and share, and because my BFF isn’t picky, I almost always get to choose both entrees. As a result, we’ve tried a wide range of dishes here. We go with chicken tikka masala every time. My other favorite entrée at Indian Oven is the chicken coconut kurma. SOGOOD. I always ask them to season our food a little spicier than medium, and they seem to hit the sweet spot every time. I have NOIDEA why the local competition gets so much more hype than Indian Oven(okay, I do: proximity to campus/venue novelty). Indian Oven makes a better naan and seems to take better care with their food all around; to-go orders are always hot and come with generous portions of rice. Service is excellent. The buffet, though admittedly mediocre, is better. PARKING is even superior. Check them out.

From the other Unilocal reviews I had high hopes. I ended up very disappointed. There was not much complex flavour that you tend to expect when eating Indian food. The staff was friendly. The food was bland.

Still loving me some Indian Oven over the local competition. Better portion size, bigger naan and other breads, more consistent quality. They’ve won me back for sure.

This is my favorite restaurant in Logan. I’ve yet to try a dish I haven’t liked. If you’re feeling timid, try the Chicken Aloo; it’s probably the best beginner dish. The shrimp tandoori is my favorite thing on the menu, and the naan is delicious!

This is the one place I’ll always make sure to go to whenever I’m up in Logan. Their curry is so so good. And you can get it perfectly spiced to your level. Their Naan is perfect and just a little crispy. And their cinnamon naan is amazing. Anything lamb is a good choice and the shrimp tandoori was great. I don’t know where they get the shrimp from, but they’re magical. Make sure you go.

This was my 4th time here. Ordered the vegetable samosas, Chicken Coconut Kurma, sweet lassi, and naan. Holy crap, it was a ton of food! And with a 20%ish tip it was 31 bucks. I’m not a huge fan of samosas as it is, the wife is, and I thought they were a little dry to my taste, but the wife loooved them. The curry, rice, and naan were amazing. Spices were perfect, spiciness level was perfect, chicken was juicy, rice was tasty, and the naan was great. The one time I went to tandoori oven, I wasn’t that impressed. Maybe everyone hyped it up too much for me, but I don’t think its as good as this place. We will be back!!!

I come to Indian Oven instead of Tandoori when I’m with a group, because it’s bigger and has better seating. I like the food okay, but it is nowhere near as good as Tandoori. What is with the bright, neon green mint chutney? It scares me a little, which sucks because I love mint chutney. Every time I go to Indian Oven, I regret my decision, and wish I went to the«other» Indian place instead.

I love the food at this restaurant. I have my favorite Indian dishes(all chicken) which means there are a lot of menu items I haven’t tried. The curries, masalas, naan, and appetizers are delicious — try a mango lasse if haven’t already! The only thing that would improve this restaurant is a liquor license. A cold beer would really hit the spot with a hot vindaloo. Ash is a great owner, he is warm and friendly and takes time to offer cooking classes at Kitchen Kneads a few times a year. That doesn’t slow me down; I don’t have a tandoori oven and my dishes never taste as good as his.
