Haven’t had the pleasure yet to actually experience the park. Its EXTREMELY frustrating! We had a zip line tour scheduled at the beginning of June, a cabin booked and paid for(at another camp ground) and we got a call a week before saying they had lighting hit a line and they had to cancel our tour but would reschedule soon. I have been calling over and over since and it goes to VM every time but the VM is full so I can’t leave a message. The zip line tour was purchased for my mom for xmas and all of us have fulltime jobs so we had to take off work. Very unprofessional and poor management. Other FB reviews:

Sooooo, this review is VERY different from the other reviews! Some of my friends and I decided to take part in Run For Your Lives!, a zombie themed 5K race. The objective is to survive the course with one flag(you’re given flag football belt with three tassels, which count as your«lives»). Zombie(volunteers, not real zombies) chase you through open fields, up and down hills and towards obstacles. I did notice that going through the course, there were spots for hunting, Frisbee golf, and a high-adventure course… BUT that wasn’t my priority at the time. Parking was in a field, so OK. The course was a little taxing, with all the hills though! We ran in different«waves» as «survivors» and then as zombies from 10:30A-2:30P. WEHAD A BLAST! Def. recommend this place and this race again.

Every time I see the signs for the Hocking Peaks Adventure Park I can’t help but hear a voice say: «I never should have gone ziplining.»(Points to anyone who gets the reference.) In all seriousness though, Hocking Peaks is a pretty awesome park. On my most recent visit the parking lot was caked in mud and pretty much everyone had a hard time getting in and out. Thankfully, that’s the only negative I have to say and it’s not really even their fault — the parking area is all grass, and it had rained recently. We went along the hiking trail up and down all the hills. Brutal on your quads but the scenery was so beautiful. The forest around there is amazing and even with a big event going on we still got to see some wildlife roaming around. It’s a great park for families and they host big events every so often. Hocking Peaks Adventure Park is A-OK in my book.

This place is amazing! My husband and I visited last year and we are going again with our children this year. The guides made you feel very comfortable even for first timers. I would highly recommend to anyone!

This place was tons of fun. I came here with a group of friends and with a groupon. That groupon was such a great deal, otherwise this place can be a bit pricey. We did the zip lining and ropes course and it was pretty great. This was my first time zip lining and I recommend it if you are a first timer. The lines are not very high or very long so you get comfortable early on. The ropes and obstacles are a lot of fun and super easy. However, if you are grossly out of shape, you will have an awful time. We didn’t have to wear helmets and that made the whole thing more enjoyable as it was very hot. You do the whole thing by yourself and there’s only like two or three guides posted throughout the whole thing. It seems like the park workers are mostly college kids who are not always concerned with safety. We did the«water front» zip line which was very long and fast. We were warned to break early but a guest decided not to listen and got caught at the end of the ropes. Two employees were trying to get her loose and one of the employee’s fingers got caught between the zipline and the hand break wheels… he wasn’t wearing gloves. Granted, it was the lady’s fault for not listening, but still… not a pretty thing to watch. Don’t bother with the«photo package.» It’s a huge rip off.

Even in a complete July downpour this was amazing(maybe even better!) Our group consisted of two couples, so it was a nice getaway from the kids and something different. I highly recommend this as an alternative weekend activity and the drive in and around Hocking Hills State Park makes it that much better.

The Adventure Course for Kids was just perfect for our kids… it gave them a great experience to do with their cousins. We were there over spring break in April of 2012 and were lucky enough to get Adam to be with out 3 year old… we could not of picked someone better. Great attention to detail and fantastic with the kids… my 3 year old(who is fearless) did it all and she was in great hands with Adam. Great Job Adam!

Do not reccomend. Go somewhere else and definitely don’t spend 20 bucks on the long zip OR37 dollars on the so-called photo package. Not worth it. Rude staff too.

We visited Hocking Peaks Adventure this past weekend and it was a blast! Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. There wasn’t a minute throughout our time that I didn’t feel safe! They give you very detailed instructions and enough time to feel comfortable clipping in and out of obstacles and ziplines! We will defiantly be back! HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

So much fun! We seriously came here because the girl on the phone was so much nicer than the phone girl from the other zip line place and I am so glad we did. The price was better here too. The zip line and ropes course was 65 $ for an hour and a half of fun. You don’t have to wait around for a group here. There are a lot of employees working so when you show up you are good to go. After a short ATV ride up to the course an employee will fit you in a harness and teach you all the safety stuff. Once you get going though it can move pretty fast. This is not just zip lines like we thought! There are tree to tree obstacles and bridges to go over and some are really hard. I think I even cried a little. About halfway through you get a break and they give you water and then more high ropes! As fun as the course is, it is quite a workout. Be careful up there too! Many a bruise was had that day! They also do ATV rides, bubble rolls and have a big bounce house! There were kids as young as 8 or 9 having a good time up on the ropes so this is great to do with the family. And if you get too scared, they will come and get you down, so you can always back out!
