I’m just not into the overly sweet, synthetic taste and gooey texture of the ice cream here. It’s not one bit creamy and flavorwise it’s hard to find mix-ins that work. And the seating inside is uncomfortable, crowded into the people in line. BUT, how do I average my rating since I love the tasty truffles and caramel apples of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory? Ice cream sucks, chocolates good. They definitely get an extra star for that.

Love this place! You can make your ice cream your own. Needs to be a bigger shop every time we go the line is out the door.

Ice cream is good, but you really have to get one of their specialty combos to appreciate it. Without the«Mix-ins», it’s just your almost average flavors. But their mixins make it worth while. Price is decent, and you can usually find good coupons online before going, such as a buy one get one free, or buy one get one half off. They need more indoor seating, or at least to move to a location where you can sit down and not have people bump into you who are standing in line. It can be too crowded in there some evenings, and that can be a turn off.

OK, they’re not a locally based place… but they are the best! Amazing flavors and great combinations make Coldstone the greatest of the small-chain ice cream treat parlors. Fun and flavorful no matter the weather!
