Super fun bar in Lodi! Love when they have the live music! They always find great bands that for sure know how to rock! It can get a little noisy in there at times. which makes it hard for the staff to hear what your drink orders are, but all in all its not that bad. Defiantly a fun place to check out if you’re into country music and want to dance.

Best Bar Ever! I love this place. It’s like going home. You don’t have to wait in long lines for your drinks or worry about them skimping out on the amount of alcohol they give you. The bartender knows her shit and keeps a clean bar unlike a lot of other places I’ve been. If your looking for a bar you can have fun in without being pushed or shoved around in and actually feel safe in Whiskey Barrel is the place!

So, this was a long time coming. One of the only bars in town I enjoy going to. Yes, unfortunately I have to pay for bottled waters. Yes, that bar manager gal doesn’t smile all the time(poor girl using those little legs to run back and forth serving people probably gets tired.) I love the service and the crowd. I don’t have to worry about people fighting or anything like that because they watch who they let in and watch how much everyone drinks. Keep it up whiskey barrel and I’ll keep showing up ;)

Whisky Barrel Saloon is the best. Best live music around, awesome setting, fantastic service, and never any trouble or shady people. Always a good crowd, good music, and a good time. Only place I will go in Lodi. Check them out. When you go, ask Amy to make you the«Flintstone Vitamin» shot. One of the best I’ve shots tried! Can’t wait to go again.

Cool place to watch music. Great cover bands. Bartenders are below average. Girl that works weekends never smiles or offers any hint of a personality. Tried to make me purchase a bottle of water for $ 2. Lied and told me they do not have tap water. Its a whiskey bar but there is not a menu of the whiskeys they have or even a few special whiskey drinks. Ordered a whiskey sour which was not very good. Seems like the owner does not put any time into the place other then booking bands.

Decent music and live band but I feel like I was taken advantage of. I initially ordered 2 beers and was told my total was $ 10. I decided to leave my tab open. Later on I ordered one more beer. When I went to close out my tab it became $ 20. Not sure how that happened with only 3 beers but i decided to let it go. I specifically remember leaving a $ 2 tip because I was slightly irritated about the total and somehow when I check my account I was charged for $ 25. If I’m doing the math correct $ 20 + $ 2 does not equal $ 25. So not only was I overcharged for a beer I was overcharged for a tip not due.

They need to provide more bar stools!!! Every time my friends and I go to see a band we have to stand for hours because no where to sit!!! Why can’t Jerry provide more chairs so we can sit and enjoy the music he provides. I’ve see 2 women go at it because a woman took her chair while she was dancing. OMG get more chairs Jerry!!!

Have been to The Whiskey Barrel Saloon a few times now, it’s always a friendly atmosphere there. The owner seems like a nice humble guy. The Patrons are all different age groups, which is nice. Drinks were good and I thought fairly priced.(I do think they should offer drink specials and they don’t as of now, maybe that will change) I would definitely go back to the Whiskey Barrel Saloon.

My hubby and I enjoy the Whiskey Barrel Saloon. My husband enjoys the selection of Whiskey and likes being able to try then all. I enjoy the atmosphere and the Whiskey as well although I’m more of a Jack and Coke kind of girl. They also have a good beer selection. I do not recall her name but the bartender is always very nice and helpful. She always make good suggestions for Whiskeys for my hubby to try. We’ve been there a few times when there was a band and they’re usually pretty good, there have been a few exceptions.

Here is an «Average Jane’s» take on the Whiskey Barrel: I am not a huge fan of country music but there are some songs I love and many of my friends and family love country so the music is not really an issue. However, I have been here 3 times and twice they have had a live band. Both times the music was horrible and that is not dependent on whether or not you like the genre. The second time I was there with no band, it was a little better. The crowd can get a bit rowdy and loud so don’t go there to have a conversation but for dancing, it’s ok. The area this bar is in can be a little scary. I was approached and even touched on the arm by a drunk guy ho did not even speak English from the bar next door. I just want all the ladies reading to be aware of their surroundings here… It’s easy to feel safe in Lodi. The customer service and drinks themselves were poor. The prices were high and as everyone else writes, they won’t give you a glass of water. I don’t drink a lot so I have to pace myself and NEED water in between. I just bought a bottle because I had to have water but it is a very poor customer service issue and they should change their policy. There are plenty of other bars within walking distance that I would recommend over this one, but if you are an absolute country fanatic, perhaps you should try it for yourself and see what you think. Like I said, this is just one girls opinion…

I am so sick and tired of coming here and ordering drinks then asking for water and they WILLNOTGIVEYOU A GLASSOFWATERWITHICE because they want you to buy a$ 2.00 bottle of water!!! I’m going to call ABC because that is JUSTNOTRIGHT!!! Will not go here anymore, too bad! Cheap owners because this is an ongoing thing and the bartenders are told to make patrons buy water!!!

I’ve been to the Whiskey Barrel several times over the last couple of years and enjoy the laid back easy atmosphere. Lodi has the advantage of having several bars within short walking distance of each other. So if you start at the top of downtown Lodi, near the Dancing Fox, one can essentially bar hop one’s way down to the Whiskey Barrel. It tends to be a bit slow in the early evening but is popping by the end of the night, as apparently everyone ends there night here.

The prices for a simple pitcher of beer was outrageous. Service was rude, and for there not being very many people you would of thought they would want our business. Sitting out back and the owner comes out and says we’re not allowed back in there anymore… said we were smoking weed… ugh no dude, that would be the hippie in the corner.

Went there to hear the Guns n Roses tribute band, who totally rocked BTW. The guy bartender was great… the gal was okay, but seemed to get less friendly as she got busy. Lots of room to sit if you don’t get there too late. Clean and good drink prices. SOOOOO much better than Vintage. Looking forward to coming back to see the Van Halen Tribute Band.

Liked the place a lot! The stage was in the rear, and the rectangular nature of the venue, with a very long bar up against one wall — made the music play throughout the whole bar unimpeded, strait from the band. The drinks were ice cold, service good and the band excellent. I liked the wood plank floors and brick walls of the old restored building and the western theme was cool too. A good place to go! The drinks were a little pricy($ 4 for a bottle of Bud Light), but there was no cover charge with an excellent band playing. Go Lodi!

Hahaha I had to Unilocal it, even though I don’t remember much from Friday night! I have not been here since Jerry changed the place, but I am glad my friends and I stumbled(literally!) here, after barhopping all night in little ol’ Lodi for Wendy’s birthday. This place was packed, and with people you actually want to sit next too, mingle with, buy a drink for, etc. I was surprised how packed the danced floor was, and that everyone was actually on cue with the music! Bartenders Mark & Jennifer(I hope that was her name?) were there making great drinks as usual(nice to see a girl bartender for once Jerry!!), and I don’t recall what I drank, but it was good & tasted like cherries! The drinks were SOOOOO good in fact, my friends and I ended up getting tattoos right down the street, and I don’t recall WANTING what I got!!! Thank GOD for laser treatment centers! And if Whiskey Barrel Saloon didn’t make such strong drinks, this would not have happened to me and my friends!!! LOL!!! Thanks guys!

Decent bar. I went there last night. I never go out in Lodi. Not bad for a Lodi bar. Pretty nice atmosphere & we had fun dancing with the girl that was running the Karaōke machine. I could see this place taking off in Lodi.
