I can tell you as a legacy renter and prosepective first time home buyer, the process of buying a house, let alone finding out how much money you can get a loan for before you can even find a house is so scary! I had absolutely no idea what I was doing or where to start. My experience with Rich’s team started when I got a phone call from one of his assistants Chad. He was giving me a call to follow up on an inquiry I had made to try and see if Rich could provide me with some direction on the journey I was about to undertake. Chad was so friendly over the phone and took some of my basic information so that we could start the process of getting pre-approved for a loan. After explaining the pre-approval process we set up a meeting so that I could meet with Rich and his team to understand how all of the steps of homebuying work and how Alpine Mortgage Planning helps homebuyers get into the homes they want. Most of all I appreciated their honesty. I had heard horror stories of people being talked into loans they really couldn’t afford in the long run, or re-finances that left people worse off than they were before. Rich was very honest and explained that there are some companies that will steer you in a direction that will make their company the most money, even if it’s not financially smart or beneficial to the customer. I was glad to hear that his goal is to help people achieve their dreams of home-ownership while doing the best to make sure that people are in a situation where they stay in their homes for the long run. I appreciated the honesty and support I felt by the whole team throughout my process. I would highly recommend Rich and his team to anyone that is interested in buying a home or looking to refinance the one they have! It also doesn’t hurt that he kinda looks like Kevin Costner!
