Like its quality counterpart on Cherokee Lane, near Kettleman, on Auto Row, Scramblz has been completely leveled to the ground. It is almost as if someone is saying that inferior restaurants need to be razed, so as to hasten our memory loss of just how disappointing their food was… RIP

I can’t even talk about the good because the service was so horrible, we walked out. I asked the lady what kind of sodas they had. She rolled her eyes and told me in a bad tone. Never going back!

We stopped at Scrambiz Lodi after the Lodi Street Fair for breakfast and came away disappointed. I ordered the French toast with eggs and bacon and my companion ordered the Banana Crepes. My French toast was flavorless and tasted like they just dipped bread in beaten eggs and fried it. The eggs were runny and the only part edible was the whites. The banana crepes looked great and my companion said that they were delicious. We also ordered coffee which was good and juice which was in a large glass. Much too large for a breakfast serving and was $ 2.99 a glass. Ouch! Over all it’s not a good place for breakfast. To expensive and not well prepared. I don’t plan on going back.

A couple of people had told me to go here because of their good food and cheap prices. I’m not listening to those people again! My mom ordered a blueberry waffle. The waffle had an aftertaste. The only good thing about it was that they used real blueberries and real whipped cream. I ordered an omelete with pancakes and their country potatoes. Their pancakes were so rubbery and nasty, the potatoes were a heart attack on the plate and nasty, and the omelete was horribly plain and sadly the best part of our meal. We will definitely not be going back. No doggie bags needed for us, we left it all on the table. Our waitress never checked on us and we had to go up to the front to ask for our check. Three waitresses passed us when we were standing at the front. Horrible food and horrible service.

Every single person that works there(especially the owner) HATES their lives and have no problem showing it. All I am trying to do is eat bacon and crack a smile! Not worth the price or the calories. Go to Village Coffee shop for some friendly, fast food.

I’ve eaten at Scramblz twice since they opened. Both times for breakfast. The 1st time I couldn’t believe how high their prices were, but then the food came. It was tasty and LOTS of it. Enuf food to share if you’re not in an eating contest. Not the best place ever but certainly not the worst.

Well for starters, my wife whacked her knee on bottom of there table because this paticular table had a weird piece of metal sticking out. The place was hot inside, the service was really bad which is a shame because the food was decent. Won’t be going back =(

(sung to the tune of Amy Winehouse’s Rehab) they wanna make me go to Scrambl’z and I say no no no it’s Christmas night and I don’t want a fright so don’t go go go after eating the Scramblz roadkill my fiancé’s belly is ill they wanna make me go to Scrambl’z and I say no no no There was not much open on Christmas night so we ended up here. The service is good and prompt but that doesn’t help the really sad, sad food. Turkey and stuffing dry like the Sahara, pre-fab gravy, a salad of greens and croutons. The baked potato was good(thank God they didn’t screw that up) and so was the biscuit but otherwise, this place is so not even worth it. $ 12.99 for high school cafeteria food(minus the ladies with stockings on their head) and as for my poor fiancé, last night his stomach made sounds like the Alien from the first movie had taken up permanent residence. they wanna make me go to Scrambl’z and I say no no no

The breakfast here is not bad. Overpriced, but on par taste-wise with Jack in the Box or McDonald’s breakfasts, at least. Breakfast may be the only thing they do well, however. I recently bought dinner there and the mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless, the«barbecue» chicken was overcooked(practically chicken jerky) and the salad was soggy. The wait staff is good, friendly, keeps drinks full, and so on, but the cook is so slow that this hardly matters, unfortunately. And the sticking point, for me at least, is the racist signs«decorating» the restaurant’s walls. I realize this is Lodi, but still. A Confederate flag, a Native American head advertising gas, and a bucktoothed caricature of a Chinese man saying, «You no pay, we not happy» is not even close to being tasteful, and shows a very ugly sign of the«Americana» theme the restaurant was probably going for. If it were just the food and the cost, I’d probably stick to breakfasts here. Like I said, the wait staff is wonderful. But throw in the slow as molasses cooking and the offensive décor, and I’ll have to pass.

Gag! Choke! GAG! CHOKE! CHOKE! No, that’s not me consuming anything at Scrambl’z… it’s just me perusing the menu… For the past few months, the Lodi News-Sentinel(the local newspaper — ) had articles touting the opening of Lodi’s newest restaurant… claiming the owner(who, BTW, also owns a Scrambl’z in Modesto) will have spent $ 175k to renovate the building, which used to house Lyon’s Restaurant( ). I had ridden by Scrambl’z many times since… I like the down-home Country theme… inside and out. If you squint your eyes, the exterior colors are fairly reminiscent of an Egg… I decided to try out this place this past weekend… and stopped immediately after perusing the menu… Let’s start with Omelettes or Scrambles… All, and I mean ALL of their Omelettes START at $ 10.99!!! And their Scrambles START at $ 9.99. One(1) Waffle starts at $ 7.99! I’ve criticized Denis’ Country Kitchen( ) in a review for their high prices… but they’re absolutely a bargainl compared to Scrambl’z… If you’re interested in Good(and affordable) Breakfast places… just peruse some of my reviews… As for the food review at Scrambl’z… someone else can spend their hard-earned money for just a few Eggs…
