First time here an it was great. Pulled pork was great. French fries were perfect. And the ice cream was a nice surprise. Even the booths were awesome. Best booths ever

I went here for lunch with my son. He had the hot tri-​tip sandwich with avocado and bacon and a side of mac and cheese. He said it was all delicious; it certainly looked that way.
I had the pulled-​pork entrée with green beans and sweet potato fries. The beans were so yummy with bacon and a little tomato – just like my grandma used to make. The fries were crispy on the outside but not overdone. I loved the flavor of the pork; it was nice and smoky. There was sauce on the side, but unfortunately, it was cold. It had great flavor which would have been awesome if it had been warmed up.
The owner, Bruce, served us with a smile as always.
With two small drinks, the tab came to $ 25 and change.
My son said he found a new favorite place to eat. We’ll be back.

I had the turkey, avocado, bacon and cream cheese sandwich on a milk roll, $ 6.50. It was OK, not outstanding. I also ordered A bowl of chili, $ 5. Slight smoky flavor. Large portion. Would not order the chili again.
Dining partners had the trip-​tip sandwiches and said they were very good.
Their fries are quite good. They tasted homemade and were a bit crunchy on the outside. Yummy!
This is a nice spot for lunch. Nothing really that would make me rush back here but if you’re in the area it would be worth trying.

Nothing fancy, kinda out of the way, but the ppl are very friendly and accommodating to your food needs! The chorizo burger was delicious!

I’ve been coming here on a regular basis about 3 times a week since I found out about them. I used to be their customer when they had the grocery store in Lodi and I would take home their tri-​tip dinners for 4 excetra. It was great then and its every bit as great now. With more choices on the menu then the store had. Extremely friendly staff. Excellent food. The prices are extremely fair. Probably the most reasonable barbecue restaurant I have been to. With top quality grade a meats. Their location is a little bit out of the way in the industrial area of Lodi. But it is easy access from the freeway and definitely worth the trip. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

Debatably the best tri-​tip sandwich I have ever had! I made and order here for a bbq bacon cheese burger and asked to have mac&cheese in side my burger. They did not hesitate to «yes no problem!». While other places would have rolled there eyes at this kind of strange request. That burger was even better than the place I had originally had it at, in Sacramento. Service is always great. Everyone always seems to be smiling. Love this place!!!

I was greeted by Steve, one of the owners. He was full of smiles. The environment was very clean and welcoming. As I sat on the very comfortable couch for my order, I noticed the staff all related well with each other. There’s lots of windows and choices of different types of seating for the dine-​in customers. You are able to watch your food being prepared, no secrets here. The restroom was clean and well appointed. My to go order was to die for. The containers were made of quality and I didn’t have to worry about my order spilling and was given plenty of napkins. They even have curbside delivery for young families who do not want to disturb the young ones. From seasonings to pies, they have it all.
Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious !!! I had the turkey avacado and cream cheese sandwich on Dutch crutch and let me tell ya … It gave the Butcher shop a run for their money. And they’re open on Mondays which is a plus ! Macaroni salad was good, not too much mayo but just enough. You order at the counter and pick a seat and they bring out your food So service is minimal it’s more so do it yourself but awesome !! And the owner was on site with a friendly smile!

Food was good, waitress was friendly and service was fast. My only complaint is that they need to move the garbage can away from the front door to prevent flies. Will definitely go back!

So I gave this place a second chance yesterday and walked away with the taste of disappointment again. The service was quick and friendly, also the reason they get a second star. The food, however, is mediocre at best. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and fries this time around. My sandwich consisted of nicely grilled onions and peppers… and bland meat. The amount of grease on the bottom of the basket made the bottom of my sandwich nice and soggy, like it had been sitting for a bit. Although the «small» order of fries is rather generous, they were overcooked again. I like supporting local restaurants, but it’s gonna take a lot of work to get me back in there.

I am so glad we finally tried Salisbury’s… Everything I’ve tried here has been so yummy. TriTip, Chicken, Ribs, Steak Sandwich, Sides… delicious salads– Especially the Chinese Chicken with that tasty Teriyaki Mayo… and the Chili Beans. wow…
I’ve also been able to use them in the last month for 5 catering orders, of which every office I’ve gone to has been so impressed. For Catering, if there is something you’re looking for specifically… Ask Steve. He has been able to accommodate special diets, and dishes that aren’t normally found on their website.
Salisbury’s is my go-​to for my catering needs.

Had the special bbq beef sandwich with side of chilli. Everything was good. The bbq sauce was nice and thick, sweet and smoky. The chilli was really flavorful and big chuncks of meat. Will order the chilli again. Recommend!

Bruce Salisbury is known for his tri tip and this tri tip sandwich with cream cheese, avocado and bacon does not disappoint! I had it served with sweet potato fries, which were some of the best I’ve ever tasted!
I came after the lunch crowd (2:00) so I didn’t experience any lines or a particularly long wait. Service was friendly and polite and the restaurant was clean.
I want to come again and try one of their burgers. They look and sound delicious!

Came here for the first time the other day and I will definitely be back! There was a lot of meat in my sandwich and the sweet potato fries were delicious!

My family and I have been here a few times since they have opened. They are still getting back in their groove service wise, each time something was missing from our order. It was always quickly fixed, but it is still a bit annoying. Check your order before you leave if you get take out. The staff is so nice, so please be nice if it happens to you.
However, the food each time has been so good! We have had the burgers. They were delicious. The fries were okay. The last time we went I got a tri-​tip dinner with green beans and Mac and cheese for my sides. Everything was very good. I loved the green beans, they reminded me of my grandma’s.
My husband had the NY steak sandwich. Oh my gravy!!! It was delicious. DELICIOUS! He let me have a bite, so generous. He is lucky I love him, otherwise I would have stolen it and eaten the whole thing. The steak was flavorful and so tender. We are going tonight; I am ordering the NY steak sandwich and I won’t be sharing it.

Ordered two burgers and two sides. We were the only customers sitting at a table. After 25 minutes we were still wondering where our food was. A bunch of folks came in after we did and the place got busy. But everyone’s just waiting for food.
Then, 31 minutes after ordering, I finally go up to the counter to enquire about our order.
It was done except for the sweet potato fries. The server carried out everything and was very pleasant. The sweet potato fries were brought out shortly thereafter.
The food was very good.
Ranch burger –excellent
Cheese burger — exactly the way DW ordered it.
Sweet potato fries — very good
Green beans — with just the right amount of bacon and a little bit of mushrooms. — very good.
In the end we were very happy with our food, just not the very long time it took to prepare and serve it.
Minus two stars for the long wait. Otherwise I’d give them a 5.

Being it was my Bday yesterday decided to treat myself to lunch out… I ordered the Tri-​tip Dip which was tender & a side of potato salad… After one bite literally I couldn’t eat it! There was so much mustard That’s all you tasted … My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich & he had said that if it didn’t come with extra bbq sauce it would be very dry.
We arrived before the lunch rush & nobody was ahead of us when we got in line & ordered but yet it took 25 minutes to get our sandwichs! I hope they get more organized & work on getting the orders out quickly & revape their potato salad or I’m afraid they won’t be open for very long.

Never has the opening of a new restaurant been so longingly awaited. Bruce and Steve are quite the experts in the selection of and preparing various meats and barbecue.
Came back for an awesome ground chuck hamburger, a meal in itself. At last I have found an honest hamburger.

Solid burger… Went opening night, place was crazy, so we weren’t surprised for the long wait. Well worth it though. If you’re craving a real (ground chuck) hamburger, you won’t be disappointed.
5 stars for the Salisbury burger!

We used to live by the old Salisburys. Now we live by the New one. Small world. I must say nice to have them back. Great looking meat case and some delicious sandwiches of course. Don’t miss the out on the tri tip!
